Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.    And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”   Then Jesus said to him,  “Away with you, Satan! There are many in the professing Church today who are always talking about Jesus. His Name rolls from their tongues like the waterfall, and they are always singing songs that exalt His Name. His Name is the first and last Word, the Alpha and Omega, of all their prayers. Yet, their hearts are far from Him. Many of them are not really true followers of Jesus Christ, who truly love Jesus, intimately and passionately, as a Bride loves Her Groom: Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth— For your love is better than wine. (Song of Solomon 1:2). The love the Shulamite woman had for her groom is only but a shadow of the Love the Church should have for Christ, one that obeys Christ because she loves Christ, as Jesus said: "If you love Me, keep My commandments (John 14:15)." There are many deceptions in the professing Church today. One of the most insidious deceptions, if not the most insidious is that of religion. Religion deceives far more people than any secular ideology. Religious people recoil at secular thinking and its materialism, carnality and worldliness, but yet they think that materialism, carnality and worldliness wrapped under the guise of religion is not only justified, but right. The spirit of religion is real. The spirit of religion is a person, not an event, phenomenon or abstract idea. He is a demon. He has deceived so many people and is continuing to do so. Religion is not spiritual. True Christianity is not religion. It is a real and living intimate relationship with God. Most professing Christians are under the spirit of religion, all without realising it. For he or she who is under a spirit cannot see it. One must be delivered from it to be able to see it. Modern Christianity is very different from the Christianity of the early Church and the Middle Ages. Modern Christianity has become a weak, pacified religion that is full of the fear of people, and scared of confronting people.  Instead of challenging and defying the world on its wicked evil ways, it seeks to conceal its righteous ways out of fear of what the unsaved think, and fails to speak what God says on their wicked ways in a plain and simple ways. Rather, they seek to pander to their sympathies, trying to convince them of righteousness by appealing to moral arguments from the world itself. For example, it seeks to convince people that abortion is wrong because it "hurts" women, rather than because it is murder and a sin in the eyes of God. It seeks to convince people that homosexual marriage is wrong because it leaves children and women vulnerable, rather than because homosexuality itself is sin in the eyes of God.  The modern Church in the west calls sin anything ...

Many in the modern western Church think that they are more blessed than others by having more material wealth or possession is a sign that God's favours them more than others. They think that earthly wealth is a measure of God's blessings, that is, favour. A person who has less earthly wealth is therefore less blessed by God. Such is a despicable abominable doctrine of demons. What is so abominable about this doctrine you may ask? What makes it truly abomination is that it perverts the very meaning of what it means to be favoured by God.  To be blessed by God is to be favoured by God. The Greek word for blessed is ' makarios ' meaning happy because God's grace has come upon a person and favour.
