Fighting the Four Evils

All the empires which have once been the most powerful in the world have fallen, and the most influential doctrines of the world have waned in their influence. But, despite such influence and their 'wisdom' in the eyes of the world, the Church of Jesus Christ, which is foolish and weak in the eyes of the world, has stood through the test of time, and ages past since she was founded by the Lord Jesus Christ.  Countless times has she faced opposition, persecutions, attacks, criticisms, challenges, and attempts to outlaw, eradicate or render her irrelevant, which have all not only failed, but made her all the more stronger, wiser, sharper and bolder. Indeed, the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church. There is nothing which frightens the unrighteous more than righteousness. Righteousness brings light and shines the light on darkness. Here is what the Scriptures say about the nature of light: 4  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend [ a ] it (John 1:4-5). Evil people love evil because it hides their darkness and makes them feel comfortable. Jesus said: " And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil" (John 3:19). The Bible also asks " For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). The answer is none.  Christian, let your light shine through the darkness of the world by refusing to heed the world's ways or its advice, never ever compromising with it, even to the slightest. Its  imposes its man-fearing doctrines, such as "cultural sensitivity" which it mixes with the pure, unadulterated truth of the Word of God,  on others within the Church, which itself is to pander to the carnal sensitivities of the lost.
