No Justice for the Unrighteous, Even when they Plead for It

Modern western society loves to talk about "justice" and gets involved in all kinds of activism to fight for what it calls "justice".  It claims to hate violence and care for children, yet thinks that slaughtering babies in the womb a woman's "right", "choice", a human "right", "healthcare" or "convenience". It claims to believe in human dignity, but yet thinks that pornography is acceptable.  Even if a person in modern society hates pornography for its disrespect of human dignity, it hates it only for selfish reasons, but yet thinks that 'erotica' is acceptable because it is "respectful". It selects the type of pornography it thinks to be acceptable, as if the morality and ethics of pornography depends on the situation.  This is a manifestation of double-mindedness, in wanting to select what moral principles one wants to believe in to justify one's own sins. It is not only rebellion, ...

The Devil Believed in and Fought for His so-called "Rights". So does the world whose father is the Devil.

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one (1 John 5:19). The world loves the idea of its so-called "rights", and loves to fight for them. The world, as 1 John 5:19 is under the power of satan, that vile, serpent whose works Christ came to destroy (1 John 3:8) and who Christ has defeated by defeating sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:55-57): He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).   O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:55-57). The devil believed in and fought for his "rights". So, it should be no surprise this vile world does the same. Isaiah 14:12-15 says: 12  How art thou fall...

Fighting for 'fairness' but not justice is of the spirit of bitter envy and self-seeking

The world seeks to fight for fairness, according it its own 'perspective', another name for self-seeking, selfish interests. Even many in the modern (21st century) Church whinge like a little child about 'unfairness' whenever a person of the Church makes some general statements critiques about it, simply because a particular individual may not agree with it. Such is the naturalness of humans. Many unsaved people are perfectly happy to fight what they as individuals perceive to be unfair, of course, to them or those they care for, that is, their own.  However, they never can fight for true justice for they are not walking in righteousness. Those who do not seek God cannot understand justice:  Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand it completely (Proverbs 28:5). Thus, whenever an unbeliever is seeking to fight evil, he or she is not seeking for true justice at all whatsoever. It doesn't matter that she is seeking to "fight e...

Rights are not Justice

Many people, including many Christians in the west think that fighting for rights equates to justice. Nothing can be further from the truth. You may argue that this is just a game of semantics that I am playing, by construing the term 'rights' to mean rights to immorality. No! One must look at the spirit behind the doctrine of rights, the spirit of liberalism.  The spirit of liberalism is the one who works through those who are seeking to create an ethical framework for society to make it one that is more "ethical", 'moral" from a human-centred worldview, which thinks that God is not needed for anything.  The spirit behind the liberalism seeks to make the masses feel oppressed by not having rights, that is, self-entitlement to anything, whether things that are immoral or moral in themselves. The spirit of rights is of the spirit of self-entitlement, selfishness and love of self. It is contrary to the Bible's commands to do good to others, seek not one...

The issue of "rights" is not a semantic issue, it is a spiritual issue

Many Christians who think that Christians who insist there is no such thing as a "right" are merely working by a particular theoretical definition to make the case. Even if this was the case, it still remains that the issue is not the use of the word "right". No! It is the spirit behind "rights" and those who fight for their "rights"; an act of rebellion. You may argue that is justified that some people fight for their rights such as those who 'minority' ethic groups, and exploited workers. While it is absolutely true that some "classes" of people are treated with scorn and hatred by general society and culture systematically, this is not an excuse of fighting for one's "rights". The act of fighting for one's "rights" is an act that is unsubmissive and rebellious against God. It is not meek and out of goodness. It is all too natural for a person, to argue why should one be good to those who are not ...

Fighting evil not to glorify God and serve Him is itself evil

Many in the modern Church think that fighting evil is a righteous thing to do. This is only a half-truth, and a very very dangerous one. It is not that the unsaved do not seek to fight evil - they do, and often with a great passion, and devote their whole life to doing so. Take example, Joan Kirner, former Premier of the state of Victoria, Australia who passed away yesterday at the time of writing. She is described as one who 'hated injustice'. She was no Christian at all for she was a pro-abortion feminist; an ardent enemy of God who would now be burning in Hell. The unsaved hate injustice. The whole world hates injustice, not because it obeys God in anyway, or is open to the Moral Law of God, but because of its own selfishness. Yes, the world hates what is perceives to be unjust because of its own selfishness. It is not because of God's common grace that enables the unsaved to agree with God about what is unjust that is hates injustice. Romans 3:10-12 make it clear that...

Oppression is not material "inequality"

Many people in the most mammonised nation think that a mere material "inequality" with other demographic means that one is "oppressed". "Oh, I am so oppressed because I have lower material possession" is the favourite catchcry of the typical Australian western woman. Oh, yeah right. Shut your mouth, you disgusting Australian (secular) woman. Oppression is affliction from injustice. Injustice is the violation of the moral law of God and the justification of such violation to express hatred against another. Justice is determined according to the Moral Law of God, not some human-made standards of "respect" or "standards of living".  The typical Australian (secular) woman need to hear this harsh rebuke. She deserves it: Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that  are  in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink (Amos 4:1). The NIV translation is clearer...

Two kinds of Justice: Worldly Justice and Godly Justice

Everyone is concerned about justice. However, many use term as some high-sound word as part of vain worldly philosophy. Just as there are two kinds of wisdom, and two kinds of sorrow, there are two kinds of justice: worldly justice and godly. Worldly justice is a kind of justice - it is false, earthly, sensual and demonic. Godly justice is the true kind - it is peaceable, rejoices in truth, impartial and has no hypocrisy.  Worldly justice aims to satisfy human self-interests, that which is of the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life. It is not concerned with truth, but seeks to blame people who are perceived to be the cause of all social problems in the world for all evils. Such people are blamed for being the perpetrators of the evil when they are victims, and assumed automatically to be perpetrators on the grounds of their so-called "social status". Such people are treated as though evils in the world should be 'rightfully' and 'justly' ...

True Biblical justice is pure, righteous, of truth, impartial and without hypocrisy

The world seeks justice but finds no true justice. That is why the unbelievers fight against each other regarding what is right and what is wrong, for all of them are blinded and know not what they do. They are blinded into thinking the battle is between different ideological, political, cultural, social, religious and philosophical groups. Even many true Christians have been deceived into thinking that the battle is between Christianity and Islam, and also between Christianity and secularism. No! Do not be deceived by this lie from the Pit of Hell.  No! Such lie is one that seeks to cause spiritual bondage to the true Church, and to hinder the Church's efforts of evangelism. Whether the person is a muslim, hindu, atheist, buddhist, mormon or of any other religion or philosophy is not the issue. This may seem like a cliche or a trite statement made as part of some 'rant'. However, it is not cliche or trite statement.  Many Christians think that they are under "thre...

Twisting concepts of Justice, Oppression and Equity

Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow (Isaiah 1:17). The world is capable of nothing good. It is only capable of twisting good things such as seeking justice, correcting oppression and equity into ways that distort their meaning to make them perverse. Such perversion is a stench to the nostrils of God. While it is true that all unsaved people are under the wrath of God no matter how 'moral', some of incur much more wrath than others and God's hostility against them is greater than His hostility towards others. That the natural person is not capable of good is exactly why God commands people to seek justice and correct oppression.  Many Christians fail miserably when dealing with the twisting of good that they witness around them. Rather than seeking a proper sound Biblical definition. They either seek to purposefully oppose all the concepts of a particular side of politics or a cultural 'group' for exa...
