Modern Christianity is very different from the Christianity of the early Church and the Middle Ages. Modern Christianity has become a weak, pacified religion that is full of the fear of people, and scared of confronting people.  Instead of challenging and defying the world on its wicked evil ways, it seeks to conceal its righteous ways out of fear of what the unsaved think, and fails to speak what God says on their wicked ways in a plain and simple ways. Rather, they seek to pander to their sympathies, trying to convince them of righteousness by appealing to moral arguments from the world itself. For example, it seeks to convince people that abortion is wrong because it "hurts" women, rather than because it is murder and a sin in the eyes of God. It seeks to convince people that homosexual marriage is wrong because it leaves children and women vulnerable, rather than because homosexuality itself is sin in the eyes of God.  The modern Church in the west calls sin anything ...

The modern western Church has become so influenced by the world, as many know. But, one thing it does not realise is the anti-Christian spirit of democracy, or properly called demoncracy. Some think that democracy means to seek justice and fairness for all. However, this view shows great spiritual blindness towards what democracy really is. Democracy means people power, and what people want . Jesus said that what is esteemed by men is an abomination to God: And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God (Luke 16:15). This means what it says, that what people in general, not just pharisees esteem is an abomination to God.  The lost 'secular' world and the pharisees are not only no different. They are the same. They are all unbelievers, hostile against God, and living by the vile flesh. So, do not say that Luke 16:15 only applies specificall...

Many pastors are too fearful to preach, not only truth, but truth in a bold and unapologetic way, so as to deny its power, because of the 'democracy' in the modern Church, where the people of the congregation have power to effectively determine who is "their" pastor. Church leaders bow down to "the people" in the Church, and reject pastors who do speak the truth, in the proper way, that is the bold way that makes no apology for the truth. Pastors, and evangelists who speak truth, but in a whimping way which apologise for the truth are part of the problem...

For those of you who just don't understand, the sodomite 'marriage' law proposed by these sodomite groups is really not about seek mere 'equality'. No, they are seeking to force everyone to submit to their vile sodomite agenda. Sodomite 'marriage' is just one such tool. It will in the future further legitimise hatred against the Church, and provide a powerful tool to attack Christians. Don't believe me? Look at the cases in America where Christian bakeries and florists went bankrupt because some sodomite sued them for not making a cake with a pro-sodomite message, or flowers for a sodomite 'wedding'! The modern Western Church is full of career missionaries. They are all around you. Chances are, you have encountered at least one such person. Chances are, you are one of them yourself.  To understand what a career missionary is, one must first understand what a true missionary for Jesus Christ is.   A true missionary for Jesus Christ is one who not only is genuine in one's motives for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is one who is unapologetic for it, and will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever seek to reduce or deny the power of it, which is the power of offense to save souls (Romans 1:16). The modern Church in Australia has at least as many problems as the modern Church in America as Pastor Paul Washer refers to in this classical sermon called Ten Indictments Against the Modern Church in America : It is full of the fear of man and the love of mammon, all without realising it. It is trying to serve not only God and mammon, but also God and man. This manifests in all kinds of ways, in that irritating, man-fearing, man-pleasing way in which it evagelises to the lost. To make things worse, it is so keen to impose its man-fearing and man-pleasing methods of evangelism on those who are truly seeking to reach the lost, causing them to fall.  It also is so influenced by the world's ways of handing finances. The modern Western Church is so apathetic, lazy and weak in fighting evil. Why? Because of its comfort in its material riches, and also her fear of man. The modern west in the most mammonised society, as well as the most humanistic in the modern world. So, practicing true Christian conduct risks on of losing one's favour with those who feed one's belly. Owing to this attachment to material earthly riches, pleasure and comfort, and the increasing secular humanistic opposition which threatens this earthly comfort, many Christians in the west are not just fearful of man - they are full of the fear of man, as if the word and opinion of man mattered more than the Word of God. They think they do not compromise the Word of God, but they do in denying its power to save souls by trying to reduce the offensive power of it. We who live in the modern age live in a sea of humanism. Humanism is all around us. All justifications for evil are based on humanistic doctrines. All condemnations of evil are based on humanistic doctrines. All the ways which people propose will deal with the social ills are based on humanistic doctrines. Many local church ministries, which seek to help the needy and the poor are heavily influenced by humanistic doctrines, that except from their profession of Christ, they cannot be distinguished from secular humanitarian or non-government so-call "charities".  Much of the modern Church in the west has been influenced by false humanistic doctrines, which feed on the hearts of many and which cause them to harden their hearts against many teachings, including the doctrine of submission to government (Romans 13:1-7), wives...

Child murder is a sin. There is absolutely no doubt. Yet, the pro-life movement which claims to fight against child murder, also conveniently and nicely called 'abortion' or 'termination of pregnancy', denies that child murder is murder.  They think that the women who they nicely call 'post-abortive' or 'abortion-minded' women are victims. How ridiculous! Such a thought is not only absolutely ridiculous. It is absolutely tragic. What a tragic belief to think that those who murder their children in the womb are "victims".  Such a belief, however, can be explained. It is all a manifestation of the humanism of the pro-life movement, not the abolitionist movement, but the pro-life movement which fights against abortion only conditionally and makes all kinds of double-minded compromises.  Double-mindedness leads to all kinds of unstable thinking (James 1:8), thinking that is manifested in foolish and inconsistent beliefs on moral issues. So, the point here is simply that we live with the tensions of what love really requires of us. What does a true friend really do? A true friend is full of good deeds and returns good for evil, and a true friend abstains from sinful behavior and declares the excellencies of Christ. And both of these strategies are necessary. Neither is guaranteed to win over the unbeliever. That is what we long for. That is what we pray for. But we don’t shrink back from our good deeds. And we don’t shrink back from lives of purity and holiness and verbal declarations of the excellencies of Christ. We live in an age which hates those who do good and those who do evil, a sign of the Last Days (2 Timothy 3:3). We live in an evil, wicked, despicable, vile, Hell-deserving, death-deserving, world which thinks murdering child in the womb is a "woman's right", that a woman has a "right" to beat her husband (or her co-fornicating boyfriend), evolution is truth, homosexuality is acceptable, euthanasia is compassion, and that profanity is fashionable. Yet, these multitude of evils represent only a minuscule number of evils of the modern world. And, of course, it thinks itself good and righteous in doing and approving such evil.  The Bible makes it very clear that not only those who do, but also who approve such things are worthy of death: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them (Romans 1:32).
