The spirit of Religion Despises Grace and Mercy and Manifests Only in False Righteousness

The spirit of religion is an extremely wicked spirit which appears holy and righteous on the surface, but is extremely wicked and evil. Likewise, the people who are under it appear holy and righteous, but they are inwardly full of nothing but wickedness and evil. Religious people love to point out how evil and wicked others are, but cover up their own wickedness, by all manner of excuses, twisting of Scripture and lies. Yet, not many people can see how wicked and evil this spirit is, because of its affirmation of righteousness not only by their tongues, but also their actions. It is not the affirmation of righteousness by one's lips that makes one righteous, or even one's actions. For a person's actions may be simply done with evil motives (Proverbs 15:8; 21:17). It is one's heart that determines whether one is righteous, as manifest in one's spirit , not one's actions. Religious people think that it is their actions that are evident of righteous, equating a...

Boasting in One's Temporal Earthly "Blessings" is Pride and Foolishness

Many in the modern western Church have a consumerist mindset. That includes a consumerist mindset in relation to God and the blessings His gives to people. This mindset is not only wrong, but it is absolutely despicable, disgusting, evil, and just vile. Many Christians love to boast on social media about their blessings. They love to broadcast it to everyone in their circles, and perhaps, wider circles, to show how "blessed" they are. They post pictures of themselves at a family dinner, child's graduation where the child has received top academic honours, or a photo of an expensive dish, with the caption "#blessed". Most Christians in the west do not understand what it means to suffer, especially the ones who are raised with a golden spoon, and those who live such easy lives, and become smug behind their wealth. Such people seem, at least on the surface, to have everything and are the envied by all, including many of their own church friends: they own their ...

Not Forgiving Debts is as Evil, Wicked and Unrighteous as It is to Borrow Money and Not Repay

In some parts of Africa, a witch would get a piece of human flesh and secretly slip it in the meal of a person who he invites to his house. If the invitee eats the flesh, he incurs a "flesh-debt" which he owes to the witch for life. The spirit of witchcraft practiced by such evil, vile, abominable and superstitious people is indeed real, manifesting in the belief that a person owes something to oneself because one says or thinks so. Witchcraft is not an exotic thing that only people in 'backward' and 'uneducated' tribes practice. No, it is a manifestation of the fleshy desire for independence from God by seeking power to do things apart from him. Romans 8:7-8 makes it clear that the flesh cannot obey God, but loves only to sin, reject God, therefore seeking to be independent of Him: Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. The fles...

The Aim of Abolitionists

As Abolitionists: We shall not compromise with abortion. We shall not acknowledge or allow the right to abortion at any time or in any circumstance. We shall demand the total and immediate abolition of ALL dehumanizing practices that intentionally abort the lives of our neighbors, image bearers, and fellow human beings. We shall do all that we can to dismantle the ageist and dehumanizing sentiments of our day. We shall care for the weak and “unwanted,” stand up for those deemed “too difficult” to love, and rescue those who have been abandoned, devalued, and disregarded. We shall defend those who do not meet our modern standards of perfection, beauty, and potential “quality of life.” We shall cease to protect rapists, pedophiles, and sex traffickers by openly opposing our culture’s use of abortion as a means to “take care of” children conceived as a result of their fathers’ crimes. We shall promote redemption instead of destruction. We shall not abandon those who are ...

God's Moral Prohibition of Usury is Part of the Eternal Moral Law, NOT only applicable to Old Testament Israel

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.   On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets (Matthew 22:37-40). Many in the modern Church, including conservative Christian theologians think that the prohibition of usury only applies to the Old Testament Israel. They claim that it is not a Moral Law of God, but only a civil law of God, as John Calvin wrote, twisting the Scriptures, sowing the seed for the legitimisation of usury, and the widespread practice of money-lending, which means lending money at interest or usury. They argue that even if it is a Moral Law, it only applies to Israel. The Moral Law of God was, is and will forever more be the same unto Eternity for God never changes. It is ironic that of these (professing) Christians claim that the Moral Law of G...

The Wicked Borrow and do not repay because they think what they have belongs to Them, instead of Acknowledging God

The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth (Psalm 37:21). The Bible makes it absolutely clear that the wicked borrow and do not repay. This is contrasted with the righteous, who show mercy and give, as indicated by the word 'but' in Psalm 37:21.  Borrowing money and no repaying is a manifestation of pride and self-seeking, using that which was given to one for one's own interests. It is to assume that what one has in one's hands belongs to oneself, such that one can do as one chooses with it. This indeed is the spirit behind the doctrine of private property, a doctrine of demons, which panders to the flesh which thinks that the good things it receives are deserved by it, rather than that it is the precise opposite of what it deserves. It is a manifestation of envy, s elfish a mbiti on and hatred of righteousness, which a re of the flesh (G alatians 5:19-21).  This is contrasted with the righteous person who shows mercy ...
