Fighting the Four Evils

The Cross on which Jesus died, is offensive to unregenerate sinners. It speaks of their iniquity that they love. http://www.desiringgod.org/blog/posts/a-reason-to-be-really-offended

God the Father poured His Wrath against all our sins onto His Son Jesus. Jesus had to die as an atoning sacrifice for our sins which we have all committed (Romans). For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have Everlasting Life. (John 3:16) C Christianity is not religion, it is repentance before God and accepting Jesus as Saviour for one's transgressions against God. http://www.desiringgod.org/blog/posts/the-fathers-cup-good-friday    http://www.desiringgod.org/blog/posts/it-is-finished-good-friday http://www.desiringgod.org/blog/posts/let-his-blood-be-on-us-holy-saturday
