Heretics love to argue and debate about theology, not because they
are concerned with truth, but because they are rebellious, under the spirit of
rebellion. Heresy is not only of the spirit of rebellion, but the heart of all
rebellion is heresy. Every rebel against God is a heretic in his theology,
whether he consciously thinks so or not. For rebellion is independence of God,
stemming from the hatred of God's authority and being subject to it. All heresy
is the basis of rebellion, for heresy is itself rebellion.
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king.”
(1 Samuel 15:23)
Rebellion is witchcraft for it seeks to reject and cast off the authority of God over oneself. That is the essence of witchcraft, which works through manipulation, intimidation and domination. Witchcraft is ultimately about seeking to gain domination, and leads to tyranny in determining right and wrong, and oppressing all who oppose it. This spirit of witchcraft is evident in the family in the West where the woman dominates the husband, and the demonisation of government authority - a husband who stands up against his wife, which is a position he should never have to be in the first place, is seen as "oppressive" or "chauvinistic", and a government which exercises authority in ways the make "the people" upset or unhappy because of limiting freedom and liberty in legitimate ways is labelled a "dictatorship".
These are all manifestations of witchcraft, be it in the feminists who seek to dominate their husbands (which includes 'evangelical' feminists) or the anti-government conservatives who demonise it for not giving so-called "freedoms" that people should not have or should never have gained in the first place. The anti-lockdown conservatives are a perfect example of those who demonise government authority exercised to ensure public health and safety, on the pretext that they are "attacking their liberties" to worship the dollar - at the cost of the elderly. This is just as iniquitous for they are full of rebellion. Those who refuse to obey the government's restrictive orders for public health and safety are in rebellion, and that is of the spirit of witchcraft.
Indeed, witchcraft manifests in all quest for illegitimate or evil liberties, whether it be abortion, sodomite marriage or the so-called "right" to do what one wants with one's money as one chooses. It is not exclusive to only the "liberals" who conservative evangelicals love to target for criticism, but also the so-called "anti-authoritarian" conservatives - who hate "big government", their pejorative term for governments who do not allow them to do whatever they want.
Away with the idea of witchcraft is simply an obscure, archaic practice of a minute group of "silly women" who are "loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts" (2 Timothy 3:6)! Away with the idea that only "backwards tribes" in certain "backwards" nations practise witchcraft and that the modern west is far too sophisticated! Witchcraft is all around us, right in the open as manifest in all kinds of rebellion against God-ordained authorities. It is the manifestation of rebellion, of the Adamic nature itself which started with Eve when she decided to eat the Forbidden Fruit:
Now the serpent was more
cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And
he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of
the garden’?”
And the woman said to the
serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but
of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has
said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”
Then the serpent said to the
woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the
day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing
good and evil.”
So when the woman saw
that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to
the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its
fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of
them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they
sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
(Genesis 3:1-7)
This account depicts the beginning of all witchcraft. Eve's rebellion and her attempt to lead Adam to rebellion with her, to which he succumbed. This pattern has literally being repeated in human history, most evident in the relationship between a husband and wife. Most teaching in the contemporary Church on headship and submission are in and of themselves witchcraft. Eve sinned in "desiring knowledge" which is the exercise of illegitimate authority for this "desire for knowledge" was the desire for her own way, in finding her own truth, and own life. This is itself rebellion for it the desire for independence from God, which is itself the rejection of God as authority over one's person and life. She did not only "redefine truth", but also what is the way and what is the life found in God. Eve, as the first woman to pervert the way, truth and life of God, represents the antithesis of Christ, who is Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6).
The
devil twisted the meaning of "desiring knowledge" in seeking to obey
truth, that is, the truth of God, to mean, seeking knowledge outside of God.
This attempt is seek knowledge outside of God is most evident in the doctrine
of the gnostics (which literally means 'knowledge') whom Apostle John and the
other apostles spend much energy and time countering. The devil redefined
knowledge, to mean a truth, way, and life outside of and independent of God in
accordance to one's own desires. It is precisely the pursuit of one's own
desires itself that is sin, and the result of the lust of the flesh, lust of
the eyes, and the pride of life (1 John 2:16). This is perversion of the
knowledge of God. As a result of eating such fruit, human nature became fallen,
in which desiring to satisfy the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the
pride of life is the essence of human nature. The pursuit of such lust and
pride is of has an evil spiritual power behind it.
Witchcraft is nothing mysterious or obscure as contemporary TV and film makes it out to be. Nor it is exclusively the realm of ugly old women as traditional literature represents it as. It is a real demon in the spiritual realm, that is just as real as the spirit of mammon, the spirit of lust and the spirit of sex. How the spirit of witchcraft operates is in the heart of human nature itself. It is blind to all race, ethnicity, or sex. It does not have to manifest itself in a woman, as is often assumed, but can and does manifest in men, albeit in different ways, that adapt to the strengths of man, such as physical strength, as opposed to the strength of women, such as emotional understanding and beauty.
All witchcraft is rooted is rebellion against God, and first manifests itself in heresy. For all rebellion against God starts in perverting knowledge of God, who is the Truth and only in whom Truth can be found. When Eve first ate the Forbidden Fruit, she became the first heretic in the world. Eve sought to become her own goddess, which is precisely what witchcraft it - the most blatant, utmost rebellion which is not only just content in rebellion, but in seeking to usher in an entire system and world order of rebellion.
The future during these End Times will continue to see more and more rebellion, that keeps getting worse and worse. This rebellion will not simply be out in the open, though it certainly will be. It will be all the more embedded in the world system, and one that will attempt to force more and more people into it. It will be worse than anything we have seen so far. It will be far worse, and be as if the whole world were living in a horror movie - except that this horror movie is not only real, but that one is living in it and cannot escape it.
When the sixth trumpet is sounded, after the seventh seal in Revelation is open, the climax of the wickedness of the world spiraling into ever more darkness, and Hell, is reached. As the Scriptures testify:
Then the sixth angel
sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which
is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet,
“Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So
the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year,
were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the
army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the
number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on
them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and
the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of
their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a
third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which
came out of their mouths. For their power is in their
mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents,
having heads; and with them they do harm.
But the rest of mankind, who
were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their
hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold,
silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. And
they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their
sexual immorality or their thefts.
(Revelation 9:13-21)
During these times, God will
seek to destroy the world by fire and smoke, brimstone, as was in the Days of
Lot in Sodom and Gommorah. This is parallel to Noah's Flood in Genesis, except
that this time, fire and smoke, not a flood will be used, as God promised that
He will never flood the earth again (Genesis 9:11).
But unlike water which
symbolises both death (drowning) and life (sustaining life), hence the use of
water for baptism, which in turn symbolises God giving people of the world a
chance to repent, fire and brimstone is now used by God to wipe out the entire
city of Sodom and Gomorrah, symbolic of Hell, where there is only fire and
brimstone, to burn forever as punishment for sin. This signifies that the
people who still remain after the three plagues in Revelation 9:18 will not
repent, which is why God uses fire and brimstone. Whenever God uses fire and
brimstone to punish people, it symbolises total annihilation and those burned
by fire and brimstone are wicked. Only those spared such fire and brimstone are
the righteous as shown by God's willingness to spare a city if it had at least
10 righteous people, who would then flee (Genesis 18).
In Revelation 9, those who
escape the fire and brimstone will not be the righteous, as was the case in
Genesis 19 where Lot and his family (except his wife) escaped. This time, fire
and brimstone will be sent to destroy the whole world, not just two cities.
Even the destruction of Sodom and Gommorah will seem tame and mild
then. Those who survive during the sixth trumpet are the wicked who will
not repent despite even those terrifying plagues that God Himself will bring to
the whole world.
The sins characteristic of
those wicked people who still remain after the sixth trumpet is blown are idolatry, murder, witchcraft, sexual
immorality and theft. What is significant is that
these are all mortal sins leading to death that will
characterise the world system then: If you see any brother or sister
commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give
them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a
sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about
that (1 John 5:16). That the world then will be bent on only
committing mortal sins, sinning out simply out of ignorance, but deliberate sin
in deliberate rebellion against God - with not even one person in the
whole entire world will be righteous or will repent before the Lord, will bring
about to the End of the world.
It is this time in the
timeline of God's Salvific plan for the world that the world is truly finished.
This sixth trumpet is followed only by the seventh trumpet (Revelation
11:15-19) where the Kingdom of God will be proclaimed. Though it is easy to
think that the world right now is truly finished, that is not the case. We are
still living in a world where many are being saved and will continue to be saved,
particularly in the parts of the world which have not had a Christendom, namely
Africa and Asia.
Unlocking Revelation
requires an understanding of historical parallels in the timeline of God as
found in the Old Testament. That is something which many do not understand and
as a result, devise all kinds of whacky interpretations of Scripture, that are
absurd, wrong and often have outright disturbing or perverted
implications.
One of those mortal sins of
the world system during the sixth trumpet is witchcraft, showing that there
will be much rebellion. Rebellion will be a core part of the Mystery Babylon,
one in which heresies will abound, and chaos will ensue because all heretics
will fight each other in seeking to usher in a tyrannical system based on his
own heresy. Hence why murder and theft will be part of the system of the
Mystery Babylon, because all wicked heretical sects and cults will all fight to
usher in and establish their own heretical tyrannical system - vying to build
his own Tower of Babel to dominate not only the world, but also to be
God. Each of these sins represents one aspect of the entire Mystery
Babylon that will come.
The coming Mystery Babylon
will be a pagan witchcraft tyranny in the fullest sense of the term, that has
no 'redeeming aspects' in even the slightest sense, not even a belief in basic
human decency. It will be full of the vilest things imaginable, be it
cannibalism, ritualistic human sacrifice to appease the blood lust of the human
heart, ritualistic sexual immorality practised to serve the pagan system,
tribalism whereby various pagan tribes fight each other with brutality that
cannot be uttered, a system where paganism and witchcraft religion are dominant
in which violation of such religions are punished as blasphemy in the eyes of
these wicked heretics - things which even most unsaved people in our times
reject.
Uncovering this Mystery
Babylon requires a close examination of Scripture, understood in light of Old
Testament prophecies. That is already half the battle. The other half of the
battle is to thoroughly examine each verse by verse. The current events that
are unfolding can be linked to the prophecies in revelation. Upon a closer
examination of Scripture, though the Final End has not yet come, it is fast approaching.
Over the next few decades,
the world will descend into further chaos, wickedness, degeneracy, violence,
and turmoil. But it is only the beginning of something much worse, something
truly monstrous and terrifying - the Mystery Babylon is a system of the beast
itself.
The only way to overcome the
system we now live in and most certainly the coming system is by the power of
the Holy Spirit, through the authority of Christ, by the grace of God.
Repent, repent, repent, and
turn to Jesus Christ.
