How Mammon stirs up Conflict and War (3): Deceptions of Injustice

After causing dissatisfaction, mammon stirs up conflict and war by seducing people to not only seek after, but to strive after the lusts of their flesh and lust of the eyes. As a result, people are deceived into thinking that if they do not have as much as others, or do not go through as much suffering as others, they are treated unjustly or without dignity.

Envy, covetousness and jealousy cause people to perceive those who are the object of their jealousy, envy and covetousness to be their oppressors. They are seen as oppressors because they have more. This indeed is the spirit behind the hatred of the so-labelled 'white man' who is deemed to be the oppressors, and that anyone who supports him is a support of capitalism. Capitalism indeed is evil, but not the sense that these people mean. The people who are under this spirit, usually western feminists, are in darkness and have darkness working through them. They spirit working in them is envy and covetousness.

A person under the spirit of envy and covetousness thinks it is legitimate to fight against material inequalities, such as differences in income, wealth, and spending capacity. Such things are not only used as a measure of one's dignity, but are the reason for one's existence. As a result, a person under the spirit is in bondage to prideful comparison to the earthly achievements, success and ambitions of others. He is never satisfied with oneself, nor can be satisfied with oneself. Any sense of satisfaction he has is a false one provided by a false peace that comes from the world, whose god is satan (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Such false peace is not as Jesus Christ gives. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27). False peace is satanic. It is deception. The "peace" the world gives is that which is dependent on earthly circumstances, and has no regard for the spiritual health for the person.

A person under false peace, that is, anyone who is unsaved, is troubled by earthly circumstances which determine the satisfaction of one's flesh. He does not feel troubled by one's sick spiritual state - one that is sick, and requires a cure, that is, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

A person under true peace, the true Christian, however, is untroubled by earthly affairs, and whose mind and heart is unaffected by such things. He is troubled when he sins because he has offended God whom he fears, and does not fear the things of these world because he cares not for earthly things. He is not a friend of the world who belongs to and serves satan, most of whom without even knowing so. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God (James 4:4).

Therefore, there are literally two types of peace. One false peace which is "earthly, sensual and demonic" (James 3:15), that comes from serving the world, flesh and satan. Such is from worldly wisdom which fears the things of the world, instead of God. The other is true peace that is heavenly, spiritual and godly - the exactly opposite of worldly peace which from worldly wisdom. True peace comes from the fear of God which is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of God which is the beginning of understanding. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding (Proverbs 9:10). It comes from trusting in God and the things of God, and not trusting in one's own strength, or thoughts.

Mammon provides worldly wisdom, and seduces people into trusting the things of the world and ultimately satan who seeks to kill, steal and destroy, unlikes Jesus who has come to give life. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

Signs of a Person under the spirit of mammon

Both the unsaved and saved can be under the spirit of mammon. Do not be deceived! An unsaved person can only serve mammon because it is not part of his nature to submit to God in any way (Romans 8:7). However, the Christian can most definitely yield to the temptations of mammon just as he can yield to the temptations of satan. This is what is means for a Christian to be under the spirit of mammon. The signs of a person being under the spirit of mammon are: The person does not understand the spirit of mammon. This is because he or she is blinded by it and therefore cannot see it. The person reacts whenever being confronted with being told that they are under the spirit of mammon, or being told that they may be under it. This is not the person themselves reacting, but the spirit of mammon reacting. The person is self-satisfied with the abundance that they have. This is especially the case with many Christians today. They are happy with having a family, a well-paying job, security

Two types of contentment

The world seeks contentment. It seeks to be contented in pursuit of all kinds of things, whether it be money, health, wealth, romance, sex, careers or family. It does not necessarily seek after riches to be content. However, that one does not seek after money as the first priority, but other things that are typically associated with good traditional values, such as family, does not in any way mean that one is content in the godly sense. By no means! A person can be a "conservative" and "religious" but just as earthly as the "liberal". There are two types of contentment: earthly contentment and godly contentment. Earthly contentment finds its fulfillment and satisfaction in things that are passing away, not necessarily money, but also things like family, education and children. Yes, that's right. Many professing American Christians think that they could never be under the spirit of mammon because they care for their families and love their families, a

The spirit behind Debt, the spirit of Mammon, seeks to Blind, Control, Enslave and Dominate by debt

Many people just cannot understand what usury is for what it is. Thus, in order for people to understand what exactly usury is, they must be made to understand debt first. Debt is not merely money to be repaid. It has power. Debt indeed is power, which comes from a source not from God: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).  One can discern that debt has a power behind it if one uses one's godly discernment. Debt brings spiritual bondage to a person, not merely financial bondage, but spiritual bondage. The real issue with debt for all people whether unsaved or saved is that it keeps people from fully serving God. It is a spiritual stronghold of mammon that panders to the flesh, to make a God-hater even more hostile against God, by feeding on his flesh to increase its appetite even more. It is also a spiritual stronghold
