Many Christians are rightly concerned about heresy, but which evil which they fear addressing is that of the heresy of sodomy. They attack Islam, pornography, human trafficking and even abortion, but the one evil heresy that they fear even expressing a view about is that of sodomy. This shows one thing: the republic of Sodom rules supreme in today's world. Many Christians think that if a person is under the spirit of mammon, it only means that they are greedy or materialistic. This is a very serious misunderstanding and it indicates that the person who thinks this is under the spirit of mammon themselves - because they cannot see the spirit of mammon. For the Gospel to be accepted by a person, he must humble himself and realise he has sinned against God, and deserves punishment. He must realise that it was his sin that put Jesus on the Cross. It was his iniquity for which Jesus was crushed. It was his transgressions for which Jesus was pierced. It is not because of a failure to be friend of a Christian, or even to respect a Christian that he is going to Hell. It is because of his sins. Thus, he must first understand his sins will lead him to Hell, and when he fears this because he has humbled himself and that he has no other way, he must flee to the Cross of Calvary and seek Jesus for mercy. This is a warning to all people within a church, especially those in the Word Faith or name-it-claim-it movement – the health, wealth and prosperity “gospel”. The health, wealth and prosperity “gospel” teaches that God will give you all you want if you have more faith or obedience. The prosperity “gospel” can be very blatantly obvious to extremely subtle. Many Christians think they are not influenced by this “gospel” because they do not attend a Pentacostal, Hillsong or Charismatic church. The phrase 'stand up for' is now a catch phrase that can be used for anything a person believes in. So what does it mean to stand up for God's Word? It is to obey and fear God, not man.  The modern church has become divided over how the secular governments and society at large is trying to target and marginalise Christians. The secularist anti-human trafficking forces represent "human trafficking", which they do not call prostitution, but claim is merely a product or result of human trafficking is the "victimisation" of women.
