Lust is Itself the Desire to Satisfy Oneself

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart (Matthew 5:28). For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world (1 John 2:16). There is a spirit of lust which has come into the Church, and is spreading through the Church. It has come. This is evident in people being obsessed with money, sex and power, constantly talking about such things, as well as judging a person's blessedness based on how much of these things they enjoy.  Disturbingly, there are not few professing Christians who insist that lust is only an "excessive" desire for things that do not belong to oneself. This definition is typically used by professing married 'christians' who have an uncontrollable lust for sex, for which they use marriage to justify, and who are scared of people stealing their spouses, out of their own s...

The Humanism that Has Spread into the Modern Church has Desecrated the Temple of the Living God, the true Church of Jesus Christ

5  Thus says the Lord : “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord . (Jeremiah 17:5). We who live in the modern age live in a sea of humanism. Humanism is all around us. All justifications for evil are based on humanistic doctrines. All condemnations of evil are based on humanistic doctrines. All the ways which people propose will deal with the social ills are based on humanistic doctrines. Many local church ministries, which seek to help the needy and the poor are heavily influenced by humanistic doctrines, that except from their profession of Christ, they cannot be distinguished from secular humanitarian or non-government so-call "charities".  Much of the modern Church in the west has been influenced by false humanistic doctrines, which feed on the hearts of many and which cause them to harden their hearts against many teachings, including the doctrine of submission to government (Romans 13:1-7), wives...

Does Being Made in the Image of God really give Humanity its “Rights”?

Many in the modern Church in the west are so influenced by the vile, evil, wicked, demonic, despicable humanistic thinking of their western humanist counterparts that they do not even realise it. One such manifestations of such vile thinking is their belief that being made in the image of God gives one one’s (so-called) “rights”.  Imagine a person is being given a car by his parents. His parents choose to give it to him because it pleased them. The child then thinks he can do whatever he chooses with the care, and use it to demand from the parents what he wants. His parents ask him to drive them to places where they want to go and he refuses. When his parents want to borrow the car, he does not allow them to do so, the car that they gave to him. You may say, “how vile is that!” Exactly. That is exactly what you do to God when you argue that you can do whatever you choose, and even dare think you have “rights”. You not only pervert the gift of life God has given to you wh...

Money itself is the Hindrance to Salvation, For the Love of Mammon Feeds on Pride, Covetousness and Idolatry

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:21-26) Many in the modern western Church think that a person can serve both God and mammon, all without realising that that is what they believe. Just as the Israelites in the Old Testament offered God the best sacrifices to Him, and yet at the same t...

The spirit of competition Feeds on the Desire to Rejoice in the Calamity of Others

Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him (Proverbs 24:17-18). God hates those who rejoice in the calamity of others. Rejoicing in the calamity of others is a vile, wicked evil sin. It is all too easy that think of oneself as one who does not rejoice in the calamity of others because one does not mock, or scoff one's enemies who fall into calamity. However, rejoicing in the calamity of others is very subtle, like all other sins. It is especially subtle because of how easy it is to mix truths, and half-truths, and to use truths and pervert them to justifying one's rejoicing in the calamity of others.  Those who rejoice in the calamity of others are not only proud, vile, arrogant, wicked. They are full of self-righteousness, manifesting in the belief that one is justified to laugh at the calamity,  in not only thinking oneself to be righteous in th...

The spirit of Mammon feeds on the Desire to Satisfy Selfish Ambition, Leading to Chaos and Conflict

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work (James 3:16).   We live in a world full of conflicts, full of conflicts about absolutely everything. The mindset behind all such conflicts is the belief in one's so-called "rights", whether it be a "right" to find a satisfying relationship, a "right" to make money, or a "right" to have money one lends returned to oneself. Such indeed is the root of all conflicts. It is this very belief which is all too appealing to the flesh that even people of the true Church, that is, the true followers of Christ can fall into such a vile, abominable mindset - all without realising it. The belief in one's "rights" is a manifestation of being a respecter of persons, including being of course, a respecter of oneself. Being a respecter of person leads not to harmony and peace, as the world thinks, but yet does not experience despite all its active striving for peace. Such...

Human rights is Not about Righteousness and Justice At All, it is about Power, Self-interest and Envy

There are those, including many Christians think that fighting for “human rights” is about righteousness and justice. There are also those who think the fight for “human rights” has merely been perverted by 21 st century human rights movement, and is no longer what it should be. Both of these views of human rights are based on deception, deception that a human being is entitled to things. It is not just that the view that human rights come from society that is wrong. It is the view that humans have entitlements at all that is wrong. Many in the modern western Church love to talk about their “rights” and still believe that there is nothing wrong with the doctrine of “rights”. Such thinking is all a manifestation of the flesh and being under the spirit of mammon, which feeds on the desire to satisfy one’s own flesh. It is itself a manifestation of their pride and arrogance, themselves so full of wealth and abundance. They are smug behind their wealth, thinking God has blessed ...

Giving while Expecting to Receive in Return is Covetousness in and of itself

Then He also said to him who invited Him, “ When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid.   But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind.   And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you ; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just (Luke 14:12-14). The Bible has much to say about giving. It commands us to give generously.  Jesus spoke on giving very often. In Luke 14:12-13, He teaches people to not seek a return for what they give: Then He also said to him who invited Him, “When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid.   But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind.   In Luke 6:32-36, He says: “But if you love those who love y...
