The Fallacy of Pro-Women, Pro-life Movement: Consequentialism Does Not Hold

The modern person often thinks in a consequentialistic manner, rather than a deontological manner. Indeed, such is the case of the pro-women, pro-life community. For the sake of clarification, to be “pro-women” as defined in this article means to only support women involved in abortion, disregarding all other parties, such as men whose wives choose to abort their child, family members who wanted to keep the child, or the baby himself or herself. Many have the impression that the pro-life community is a homogenous one, but this is not true. There are two camps: one that is pro-women and more often than not ignores men whose wives (not girlfriends) choose to abort their child. The other is the one that stands up against the act of abortion for what it is: murder, and attacks abortion in terms of the act alone, rather than focus on the consequences that follow abortion such as grief, sorrows and lack of stability in relationships. Indeed, many in the pro-women pro-life movement see...

Covetousness Flatters the Flesh

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6:10).  Many Christians acknowledge and accept that covetousness is sin. However, merely acknowledging and accepting that it is sin is not enough. One must practice it and keep one's word as    whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him (1 John 2:5). As Apostle Paul asked, " you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?" (Romans 2:21) to remind those who sought to teach and rebuke others to make sure they heed what they teach to others. such as to hold them to account for any hypocrisy. It is easy to say that one acknowledges that covetousness is a sin, but the real question is whether one practices it. The tenth of the Ten Commandments is ' you shalt not covet ' (Exodu...

Greed is a Mere Handmaiden of the spirit of Mammon

Many Christians think that if a person is under the spirit of mammon, it only means that they are greedy or materialistic. This is a very serious misunderstanding and it indicates that the person who thinks this is under the spirit of mammon themselves - because they cannot see the spirit of mammon. Greed and materialism are only mere manifestations of the spirit of mammon. They are only the fruit of the bitterly deceptive root of the spirit of mammon, not the other way round. A person under the spirit of mammon may be someone who is not one that is driven only to accumulate wealth. Mammon is a spirit that seduces people into greed and materialism. The person who is seduced by mammon cannot blame it because he has the responsibility to resist mammon which tempts people into serving the earthly or material, as opposed to the spiritual. Jesus said in Matthew 6:24:   No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the o...

How satan tricks us (1): Truth is twisted with some Error

Satan is very cunning in his tricks. He mixes truth and error, to make truth sound like error and error sound like truth. He appeals to the pride, emotion and sentiments of people to make them have a certain impression of something that is based on something true, and then twists this truth to create a lie. What he gets people to think is based on that which is true, but he twists the truth with some error to deceive us. He is too cunning to know that if his lies are based on that which are known to be false, he will not be able to deceive people. He appeals to the emotions of those who have been hurt by a church, and tells them that it is the church that is wrong in its teachings, so they can sin without consequences or blame God. He appeals to the sentiments to the women who fear violence and degradation that one must be able to kill their husband to protect themselves and feel liberated from fear. He appeals to the pride of those who think they morally superior and tolerant, to be...

Wake up Call to the True Church

Please, please wake up Christians! Please, wake up! Look at how the Church is becoming less offensive to the world.  A "church" that is not offensive to the world because of what it practices, believes and worships,  is not a true church at all. Such a church is an apostate church. As Christians, we should be naturally offensive to the world by our obedience to God.  Our presence should offend the unsaved. The unsaved should find us offensive, or loony for being obedient to God. They should hate us or find us annoying. The unsaved should feel uncomfortable by what we do because we obey God. But the world doesn't feel that about the modern Church. It is quite comfortable with it and the Church is comfortable with the culture. This really should not be the case at all. We should find the culture repugnant. We should feel that we would like to spit the culture out of our mouths and flush it out of our system. They should feel the sam...

Psychology: Philosophy Masquerading as a Pseudoscience (2)

Psychology claims itself to be a science because it uses a scientific method to draw inferences. However, the inferences drawn in psychology are not quantifiable, unlike that of gravitational acceleration and the Avogadro's number. Therefore, the results obtained are mere interpretations that is beholden to the eyes of the experimenter. However, because psychology uses observations and data, it cannot necessarily be completely dismissed as totally false. It is because it uses actual data and draws inferences from the actual data, that enables truth and error to be laid beside each other. A half-truth is not truth, but error. That error is mixed with truth enables the devil to deceive many. Psychology is not a science but rather a philosophy. Psychology is the devil's tool of telling people how to think, mostly about themselves. Psychology is not merely an academic discipline, but philosophy. The philosophy underlying psychology has evil humanistic, secular roots as it was fou...

Usury: The Forgotten Abomination

The concept of usury is derided as an archaic redundant dinosaur in the modern world. The very definition of usury has been twisted and perverted to mean a reasonable interest on a loan. This, however, is in complete contradiction to the Biblical definition of usury (Ezekiel 18:8) which is any interest on a loan. Any talk about banning usury is dismissed by the secular world to be an excuse for “Christian crusades” to make the world “religious”. Usury is a means of making profit from credit. Credit is the loan that is owed to the lender. Credit always has an element of liability to repay the creditor. Once a person is in debt, the person is liable for the credit to another as long as debt remains. This keeps the person in debt slavery. As strange as this may sound, nothing could be further from the truth: debt enslaves. The moral basis of repaying one’s debts is that no person is entitled to what others have. When one borrows from another what one does not have, one has a mora...

Don't Worry about Tomorrow, God is in Control!

A secular study has shown that a stressful marriage is more likely to kill men than women. The results are plausible and that is why it says in Proverbs, " b etter to live in a desert than with a contemptuous wife ". The modern courts, because they bow to the iniquity of the feminists, most of whom are probably  daughters of perdition , that is, in state of eternal damnation, HELL, because they are workers of iniquity themselves.  However, given that it is a secular study, the people interpreting the results are terrified of death because unsaved people are terrified of death and think that death is bad, and try so hard to extend life. They are pagans who worry about tomorrow (Matthew). These people do not realise that  death is in the   hands of God .  Christians KNOW that  God's control is sovereign above all . God is the one who determines birth and life, not doctors, scientists, psychologists or any other person.   The poin...
