Yes, Jesus did talk a Great Deal about Mammon or Money. Those who deny it or either Biblically Iliterate or Absolute Evil

Many in the modern western Church deny that the Bible talks about mammon to a significant extent. These jokers say it is a "minor" issue. There are very few things which repulses me than this claim. The idea that mammon in the Bible is a "minor" issue is just absolutely repulsive. From such people I cut myself off from! Although they may be true converts who may be mistaken, this does not detract from the absolute repugnancy of this claim. The following verses are those where Jesus spoke about mammon: Matthew 6:19-34 Mark 10:17-30  Luke 6:34 Luke 12:13-34 Luke 16:19-31 Luke 18:1-8 Luke 18:8-30  I strongly encourage you to read all these passages. Then come back and tell me whether you still think that mammon is a minor issue which the Bible does not really speak about.

The Disturbing Rise of Eugenicist Thinking in the West and the New Wave of Neo-nazism

These articles are excellent exposes of the neo-nazi movement that is arising in the west and their links to euthanasia. That is why the Church must actively oppose and speak out against euthanasia until it is too late. http://shoebat.com/2016/12/26/major-political-organizations-are-working-to-get-governments-to-slaughter-migrants-in-europe/ http://shoebat.com/2016/12/26/study-shows-that-thirty-eight-percent-of-american-evangelicals-support-assisted-suicide/

Usury in Commerce Does NOT make it More Justifiable in the Eyes of God than Usury Among Brothers in the Church

Many Christians think that usury is justifiable in commerce, but not among brothers and sisters in Christ. This is a double standard that is so prevalent in the modern western Church in relation to usury. It is respect for persons as Romans 2:11 and Acts 10:34 refers to, in selecting what part of God's Commandment one wants to obey, and what part one does not want to obey. Ezekiel 18:13 says: Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him. Jesus Himself also said:  And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again (Luke 6:34). Is that not enough for you to be convinced that usury per se is a sin? Even sinners, the world expects to receive back what one lends. It is not that not charging usury makes one righteous. It is only the basic given that one should not ch

Exposing the Exposers of "church abuse"

There is a rising movement of (professing) Christian ministries who seek to expose 'church abuse'. I have no doubt there are some professing churches who engage in abuse. However, they are not churches at all in the eyes of God. They are altars to satan. Thus, the whole concept of 'church abuse' is wrong because a true Church is Jesus Christ would not support abuse. They may not deal with it in a properly Biblical way, but they would certainly not ever support, or even think about supporting it. However, this new movement, which I will call the 'church abuse "exposing"' (or more like 'church abuse slandering) movement is a one which is not as it might seem on the surface. Some website ministries may seem to be more 'genuine' in their care for victims of (false) churches, while some are more obvious in their real motive. I have investigated a number of these blog ministries such as Spiritual Sounding Board and A Cry for Justice. Thro

What does it mean to Store up Treasues on Earth?

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Matthew 6:19-21). Everyone in the modern Church in the west acknowledges that Jesus told us to love one another (John 13:34-35; 15:12). Everyone is of course, very happy to hear that because of their own selfishness in expecting others to love them.  However, the same God who told us to love one another and love one's enemies (Matthew 5:43-48; Luke 6:27-36), also said that no one can serve both God and mammon (Matthew 6:24) and to give up one's whole self to follow Him (Matthew 16:24; Mark 8:34; Luke 9:23), which so many in the modern Church in the west find so hard to accept.  Few churches preach on this topic, and even where it is preached about, th

The whole idea of Superannuation is Against what Jesus said about Not storing up Treasures on Earth

Australians just love their 'super'. They look forward to their years in 'retirement' where they can just "enjoy life". This includes many Australian Christians, orthodox, evangelical and conservative Christians, who have no idea just what spirit they are under. They also think that there is nothing wrong with super. However, this just testifies to how under the spirit of mammon they are, and how enslaves they are to him. There is even a company called Christian Super . They say on their website: Do you care how your hard-earned super is being invested? Would you like to receive social and environmental returns, along with financial returns? Like sending students to university, investing in hospitals, producing clean water, creating affordable housing, developing green energy… all while avoiding things that harm people and our planet. Christian Super are ethical investing experts. 100% of our investments are ethically screened based on values we fi

Investments by Usury make Usurers Out of All Investors who are 'Passive Lenders'

Usury is ubiquitous in the modern world. The whole global financial system is trapped in a spider web of usury. No wonder it has been called "The Web of Debt", which is of course the title of author and lawyer Ellen Brown's book.  Usury does not only affect the person who is actually charging usury on loans in the modern world. It affects people on a mass scale. It also affects not only borrowers and lenders who are actively borrowing and lending. It affects also what can be called 'passive lenders'.  Passive lenders are those who are not actively charging interest or usury on loans, but benefit from usury as a result of receiving a gain on investments or bank deposits. They have a bank account, which accumulates usury on it. Since almost everyone in the west invariably has a bank account, including people borrowing money to buy a house, almost everyone is a usurer, not by choice, but as a result of the actions of others.  That precisely is the situation in

Democracy is of the spirit of self-serving and pride, elevating Man above God

Democracy means 'people rule'. It is about what man wants, which is diametrically opposed to what God wants. The rule of God and the rule of man can never be reconciled as, that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God (Luke 16:15). So, since democracy, or rather, demon-cracy, is the political system that seeks man's wants, it is an anti-christian worldview. Democracy is not based on Biblical values at all, despite what so many in the modern Western Church think, including many in the evangelical, orthodox, conservative Church in the west. Demon-cracy is the hatred of God's Sovereignty.   Demoncracy says that people rule, which is totally against what Romans 13 says about government being ordained by God. Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall

Attempting to Reduce the Offensive Power of the Word of God is itself to Deny the Word of God

The modern Western Church is full of career missionaries. They are all around you. Chances are, you have encountered at least one such person. Chances are, you are one of them yourself.  To understand what a career missionary is, one must first understand what a true missionary for Jesus Christ is.   A true missionary for Jesus Christ is one who not only is genuine in one's motives for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is one who is unapologetic for it, and will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever seek to reduce or deny the power of it, which is the power of offense to save souls (Romans 1:16). Acts 5:27-29 makes this clear:   And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, 28  Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. 29  Then Peter and the other apostles answered

Beware the Career evangelists and missionaries

The term 'career evangelist' and 'career missionary' may sound like oxymorons. They should be oxymorons. However, they describe the reality in the modern western Church. John MacArthur in an article titled Metamorphosis, Part 1 about how change in the west influenced the Church in the west wrote: By far the most subtle and dangerous Western influences came in through church-growth experts, missiologists, and professional pollsters . Unlike the televangelists and street performers, these academicians managed to gain a platform within Russian-speaking churches. They were trusted because they were writers, career missionaries, seminary professors with credentials, and even pastors. They brought loads of books and ideas, virtually all of them advocating a highly pragmatic approach to ministry that was foreign in every sense to a church that had lived under communist persecution for the better part of a century. Twice in this article did MacArthur say he felt

The Mammonisation of the modern Australian Church

The modern Church in Australia has at least as many problems as the modern Church in America as Pastor Paul Washer refers to in this classical sermon called Ten Indictments Against the Modern Church in America : It is full of the fear of man and the love of mammon, all without realising it. It is trying to serve not only God and mammon, but also God and man. This manifests in all kinds of ways, in that irritating, man-fearing, man-pleasing way in which it evagelises to the lost. To make things worse, it is so keen to impose its man-fearing and man-pleasing methods of evangelism on those who are truly seeking to reach the lost, causing them to fall.  It also is so influenced by the world's ways of handing finances. There is even a 'christian' company called 'Christian Super'. Really? You've got to be kidding. But, no it is true. Instead of obeying Jesus when he said: 19  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, a

Answer the Fool As He Deserves

Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. 5  Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit. (Proverbs 26:4-5)  The Bible teaches the godly wise person how to 'answer the fool'. This refers to how to address foolishness from those the Bible calls 'fools', that is, evil people who reject the counsel of God and seek after their own wisdom, thinking they are so wise. How does the godly person answer such foolishness, according to Proverbs 26:4-5? By understanding his foolishness and attacking it accordingly. Rebuke him in accordance to the wisdom of God and principles of righteousness, and he will fall. The wisdom of God exposes his foolishness, his futile thoughts, manifesting in his works of darkness: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened (Romans 1:21). This I say therefore, a

The Steadfastness of the Church Through the Ages Past and Forevermore Despite Severe Opposition, Persecutions, Suffering Trials and Tribulation is Testament to her Strength and Power in Jesus Christ

All the empires which have once been the most powerful in the world have fallen, and the most influential doctrines of the world have waned in their influence. But, despite such influence and their 'wisdom' in the eyes of the world, the Church of Jesus Christ, which is foolish and weak in the eyes of the world, has stood through the test of time, and ages past since she was founded by the Lord Jesus Christ.  Countless times has she faced opposition, persecutions, attacks, criticisms, challenges, and attempts to outlaw, eradicate or render her irrelevant, which have all not only failed, but made her all the more stronger, wiser, sharper and bolder. Indeed, the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church. As Jesus said: And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18).  Her steadfastness through the ages past in spite of trials, tribulation, suffering, persecution

Why Bother With Studying the Evil Doctrines of the World if One is Christian?

Many followers of Christ in the west do not believe that studying the philosophy of false doctrines of the world is important. They think it is simply a colossal waste of time.  But is it really? The Bible warns the follower of Christ not allow the world to influence him or her: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3  For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:1-3). This is because it is all too easy to be influenced by the world. As long as one is not seeking counsel from the Word of
