For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6:10). Usury is indeed covered by the New Testament for those of you who magically think that usury is no longer a sin. How do I know usury is the love of money? It seeks to gain money for oneself, making a profit out of the debt slavery of another - another's bondage to money. It is not only selfish gain, but a stumbling block for others in tempting them into serving money, instead of God. Jesus said tha t no one can se rve both God and mammon. To serve money, is to hate God , w h ich is sin . No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24).
We do not fight people, we are fighting with a spirit. That spirit is Mammon which dominates and controls the whole world through the Anglo-American Democratic Capitalist System. It manifests in Humanism and Liberalism, through Democracy, and Capitalism, the Four Evils who enslave the whole of mankind. Many Christians who should understand the spirit of Mammon, do not. We expose and fight the spirit of Mammon, and the four evils of Humanism, Liberalism, Democracy and Capitalism.
