Usury is itself the Love of Money

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6:10). Usury is indeed covered by the New Testament for those of you who magically think that usury is no longer a sin. How do I know usury is the love of money? It seeks to gain money for oneself, making a profit out of the debt slavery of another - another's bondage to money. It is not only selfish gain, but a stumbling block for others in tempting them into serving money, instead of God. Jesus said tha t no one can se rve both God and mammon. To serve money, is to hate God , w h ich is sin . No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24).

The Aim of Abolitionists

As Abolitionists: We shall not compromise with abortion. We shall not acknowledge or allow the right to abortion at any time or in any circumstance. We shall demand the total and immediate abolition of ALL dehumanizing practices that intentionally abort the lives of our neighbors, image bearers, and fellow human beings. We shall do all that we can to dismantle the ageist and dehumanizing sentiments of our day. We shall care for the weak and “unwanted,” stand up for those deemed “too difficult” to love, and rescue those who have been abandoned, devalued, and disregarded. We shall defend those who do not meet our modern standards of perfection, beauty, and potential “quality of life.” We shall cease to protect rapists, pedophiles, and sex traffickers by openly opposing our culture’s use of abortion as a means to “take care of” children conceived as a result of their fathers’ crimes. We shall promote redemption instead of destruction. We shall not abandon those who are

Riches Fly Away with Wings, Do not Set Your Eyes on Riches for Even a Single Moment

Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven (Proverbs 23:5) We live in a world that loves all manner of evil, all manner of earthliness, and of course, mammon. It loves wealth, riches and possessions. It is all too easy for a true Christian to think that because one is follower of Christ, one cannot ever fall into loving money. However, that is far from the truth. A person who is a true follower of Christ can not only fall into loving money, as a result of temptation. He can think that his love of money which he falls into is legitimate, think ing it to not be a love of money, but rather, simply a means of making sure he has enough.  That is just how subtle the love of money is. It is extremely subtle. To even think that one needs to make sure one has enough money is itself the love of money. For Jesus said, " No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the

The spirit of witchcraft thrives on the Desire for Self-will

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer , son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.   Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the st

The spirit of Witchraft feeds on the Desire to Manipulate Others

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat (Genesis 3:6). The spirit of witchcraft appeals to the lust of the eyes by feeding on the desire to have power and control. Do not for a moment think that she only appeals to feminists. She certainly does appeal to them, however, she can certainly seduce others by their desire for power and control over others. A person under the spirit of witchcraft need not be a crazy, psychopathic woman who is violent towards her husband and children, loves child-murder, and is sexually immoral. She need not be a fe minist who onl y focuses on helping women, rather than on ho nouring al l people as 1 Pe ter 2:17 commands : Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. A person can be a pastor, missionary or theologian and be under the spirit

The spirit of witchcraft feeds on Rebellion, Covetousness and Idolatry

The spirit of witchcraft is demonic. She is cunning, deceptive and manipulative. She is not an imagination of the mind. She is real and right under our noses. She manifests herself in much of modern western culture. Whether it be through sexualised media, power struggles in sexual politics, wild and unsubmissive wives, hedonism and harlotry, she manifests herself through these means. These are only few examples of how she manifests herself.  The spirit of witchcraft tempts people to desire to be independent. God did not makes us to be independent of him or of each other. He made us to be dependent on Him and to be interdependent on each other. Much of western culture speaks about independence, whether it be children being independent of their parents, wives being independent of their husbands, and each individual being independent of everyone else. It is this desire to be independent which the spirit of witchcraft feeds, seducing them with the lust of the eyes.  The desire to be in

Truly Obeying and Loving Jesus means to Absolutely, Totally, Unconditionally and Unreservedly Give Up all One has and One's very Self

And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me (Matthew 10:38). Many in the modern Church simply think that to do righteous and good works is to love Jesus. As long as they read their Bibles, go to a Biblical church, give money to their church, pray, hold onto correct doctrine and practice it, and love and care their family, they are being righteous.  It is true one must practice righteousness to rightly claim that one loves Jesus. As Jesus said: " If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me " (John 14:23-24). The question is, do you really and truly keep ALL of His Words, in absolute, total obedience to Him? This is a question every person who claims to be a follower of Christ must ask himself or herself.  Jesus said regarding what it trul

What Is Adultery?

Fearing a Lack of Resources, even to Help people is Itself to Vile, Evil, Disgusting Spiritual Adultery

One professing Christian from Australia, who is the more theological and serious type, who searches the Scriptures once rudely and derisively in response to an article expose what it means to be of the spirit of mammon, asked "if we don't have resources, how can we help people?". This evil deceptive ruse of her is based on the idea that one must have one's own material things to help others. That is precisely what the problem is, to think that one must be self-sufficient materially to help others. This woman is not an isolated case. There are many in the modern western Church who share this thinking. That is probably why they cannot understand and appreciate a more profound spiritual and theological understanding of John 6:1-14: After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias. And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased. And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he

The Double-Minded are not only a Snare to the Righteous, but Taint all Righteous Works

Everyone knows what ‘abortion’ is, the slaughter of children in the womb. It is very clear in the minds of all people, regardless of how vehemently they may deny this. It is because people know that 'abortion’ is murder that they make all kinds of excuses, from the most conspicuously foolish excuses, to the most subtle excuse. As Romans 1:18 says about such people, “for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness” who know the Law of God but suppress it (Romans 2:15) Regardless of what excuse may be made, there can be no denying that abortion is child murder, and nothing else by child murder. The excuse that the baby in the womb is not a human is probably the most conspicuously foolish excuse, of all the excuses made for child murder. That people even think about making such an excuse, and yet think they are so sophisticated and enlightened is simply evidence of this darkened hearts and futil
