Divorce and Remarriage

Excellent, must-watch sermon on what the Bible really says about divorce and marriage:

God HATES Divorce, No Exceptions or Qualifications

"For I hate divorce!" says the LORD, the God of Israel (Malachi 2:16). God hates divorce. Full stop. There has been much debate within the Church of Jesus Christ about the issue of divorce and remarriage. There are three main views within the Church of Jesus Christ, the permissive view, the semi-permanence view and the permanence view.  Caleb Corneloup, a street preacher from Australia, made an excellent explanation of what the Bible really says about marriage and divorce: It is highly recommended that Christians watch this video. He gives a properly exegeted, logical and step-by-step explanation of the issue. The fruit of this theology is one which glorifies Christ, that which is a sign of good, right and proper theology.  Some people, however, who claim the name of Jesus Christ, think that God permits divorce in the case of abuse, abandonment or even neglect. While, of course, God hates all wickedness, including abuse and the failure to love one's spouse an

Does Being Made in the Image of God really give Humanity its “Rights”?

Many in the modern Church in the west are so influenced by the vile, evil, wicked, demonic, despicable humanistic thinking of their western humanist counterparts that they do not even realise it. One such manifestations of such vile thinking is their belief that being made in the image of God gives one one’s (so-called) “rights”.  Imagine a person is being given a car by his parents. His parents choose to give it to him because it pleased them. The child then thinks he can do whatever he chooses with the care, and use it to demand from the parents what he wants. His parents ask him to drive them to places where they want to go and he refuses. When his parents want to borrow the car, he does not allow them to do so, the car that they gave to him. You may say, “how vile is that!” Exactly. That is exactly what you do to God when you argue that you can do whatever you choose, and even dare think you have “rights”. You not only pervert the gift of life God has given to you when y

Refuting The Church of Wells - Galatians 5:20-21

Respect of persons is a Manifestation of Self-centredness and Self-love

For there is no respect of persons with God (Romans 2:11). Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great (Deuteronomy 1:17). Many people in the modern western world think of themselves as so ethical and morally good because they support the downtrodden, or alleged downtrodden, in favour over those who are powerful, rich and strong. Even the modern Church in the west is not immune from this spiritual disease of respect of persons, or favouritism.  The west, including many in modern Church in the west not only has respect of persons. It is full of respect of persons. This respect of persons is manifested in all kinds of ways, whether it be manifested in helping only the poor get their earthly temporal basic needs, and being full of human-centred sympathy towards their plight; helping only victims of sex trafficking and no one else as if they are only people in the world who suffer; or supporting the criminalisation of only those who enga

How Tension between Savers and Borrowers is a Manifestation of Usury

Usury is interest on a loan, a charge made for lending. The Bible calls it an abomination (Ezekiel 18:13). Even secular atheistic people have condemned usury for being exploitative and evil. The ancient world, as wicked as it was, condemned usury, in the true sense of the term, that is, all interest on a loan. It was not only seen as unacceptable, but treated as an evil means of oppression and the height of all avarice. Usurers in the ancient world were satirised, mocked and ridiculed through literature.  To borrow and not repay is wicked in itself (Psalm 37:21). So, people who borrow money from a bank or another financial institution act and do not repay act wickedly. They are obliged to repay all their debts to the lender and will give an account to God for not doing so on the Day of Judgment. This is because borrowing and not repaying is  a sin. However, on the other hand, there are savers who receive 'returns' on their deposits, properly called usury, who in receiving suc

The Tension between Borrowers and Savers are the Fruit of the Evils of Usury and Capitalism

From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not (James 4:1-2). We live in a world full of conflicts, wars, tension and fighting. The world asks, how to solve all these conflicts, all while accommodating for the self-interest of all parties, by preaching that people should simply negotiate. Negotiation as practiced by the world is full of immoral, unethical deals, where people and nations are willing to not kill a person they already hate, which is already murder in the heart (1 John 3:15) , just because of money. However, the spiritually mature follower of Christ knows that none of these conflicts can be solved in any way, nor that it is even about 'solving' conflicts. Rather, he asks, what is in the heart of a man that causes him to fight. James 4:1-2 poses and answers this question:

The False Doctrine of "Separation of Church and State"

Many in the modern Church in the west, whether evangelical, baptist, protestant, or even reformed calvinists who are strict in their exegesis, accepting only the text, and rejecting all spiritual revelation, believe in the evil, vile worldly doctrine of "separation of church and state". These are no liberals, who are sympathetic towards secular humanism. They are orthodox, conservative, evangelical, Bible-believing, or supposedly Bible-believing Christians.  A doctrine is either of the world, the flesh and the devil, or of God (James 3:13-18 1 John 2:15-16, 4:1). This dichotomy is demonstrated by the following passages of Scripture: Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.   For where envying and strife is, th
