The Democratisation (or Demon-cratisation) of the Modern Western Church

The modern western Church has become so influenced by the world, as many know. But, one thing it does not realise is the anti-Christian spirit of democracy, or properly called demoncracy. Some think that democracy means to seek justice and fairness for all. However, this view shows great spiritual blindness towards what democracy really is. Democracy means people power, and what people want . Jesus said that what is esteemed by men is an abomination to God: And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God (Luke 16:15). This means what it says, that what people in general, not just pharisees esteem is an abomination to God.  The lost 'secular' world and the pharisees are not only no different. They are the same. They are all unbelievers, hostile against God, and living by the vile flesh. So, do not say that Luke 16:15 only applies specificall...

Democracy is of the spirit of self-serving and pride, elevating Man above God

Democracy means 'people rule'. It is about what man wants, which is diametrically opposed to what God wants. The rule of God and the rule of man can never be reconciled as, that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God (Luke 16:15). So, since democracy, or rather, demon-cracy, is the political system that seeks man's wants, it is an anti-christian worldview. Democracy is not based on Biblical values at all, despite what so many in the modern Western Church think, including many in the evangelical, orthodox, conservative Church in the west. Demon-cracy is the hatred of God's Sovereignty.   Demoncracy says that people rule, which is totally against what Romans 13 says about government being ordained by God. Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall...

The Darkness of Democracy and its Bitter Fruit

In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes (Judges 21:25). Democracy, which should be called demoncracy, is humanity ruling over its affairs, instead of allowing God to do so and submitting to Him. Democracy is not the 'best means' of government to accommodate for a fallen world as many Christians in the west, including the conservative Christians think. No! Such is the vile pragmatism of many in the modern Church, which relies on the flesh, and thus, will think and act from a human perspective. Jesus said to Peter, when he said something which was a manifestation of reliance on human thought, " Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men" (Matthew 16:23). Indeed, satan has indeed deceived many in the modern Church, including theological conservative Christians who a labouring hard for the Lord, into thinking that it is legi...

Definitions of Four Evils

Here are the definitions for the four evils attacked by this blog: Liberalism - the philosophy that one can do whatever one wants, as long as one does not "hurt" others Capitalism - ideology that one has a "right" to seek one's material gain for oneself or one's loved ones Humanism - the arrogant philosophy that humans are sovereign, instead of God Democracy - the ideology that man's rule is higher than Gods' Law Mammon works through all of them.

How Mammon stirs up Conflict and War (1): Blinding people

Mammon first step in stirring up conflict and war is to make people feel self-satisfied so that they think they will not be involved in conflict with others. It is this self-satisfaction that he works through to cause people to be puffed up with pride about themselves.  Mammon has blinded the whole western world and the church in the west, which are content with being smug behind their wealth, while claiming to stand up for justice and the needy. Such is the case of campaigns by secular organisations and people such as  Melinda Tankard Reist ,  Get Up! , and  Collective Shout . How can one tell?  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? (Matthew 7:16). Melinda Tankard Reist, a self-professing "Christian" is associated with some anti-Christians such as Nina Funnell who accused a Christian ministry Access Ministries, "sexist" and "homophobic" because it stated that a girl showing her breasts can cause te...

Mammon Causes People to be Anxious and Have No Peace

Mammon works through the "lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life" (1 John 2:16). He seeks to make people serve him, instead of God. He is behind literally all earthliness and is pervasive in all aspects of life. He seeks to seduce us all, both the saved and unsaved, with not merely wealth, but all earthly things. He seduces us all with earthly security . He offers earthly things like health, education, family, children, romance, career, power, status and security, including 'basic needs' to entice people to serve him. He does so very deceptively. Mammon does this through making people anxious for earthly security, and therefore a lack of peace. He does this by making people think they are entitled to all they have. For those Christians who believe they cannot be under him, and therefore, are not seeking after riches, he makes them think that they are entitled to their 'basic needs' and 'security'. He deceives them into thinking that th...

The Twin Evils of Democracy and Capitalism

Democracy and capitalism are worshipped as 'sacred cows' in the west. It must always be democracy with a capitalistic free market, or democracy with more government control over a free market. People complain about big business taking over the economy, calling for more democracy, and attributing this to a lack of democracy.  Many of the unsaved think that increased monopoly and economic inequality is due to a lack of democracy. They are right, except for one thing. It is democracy that legitimises capitalism. Democracy is not a bulwark against capitalistic tyranny as the unsaved socialists would say. Democracy and capitalism are twin sisters that have dominated the west. Democracy legitimises the quest for rights. Essentially, rights in a democratic framework are sought for according to one's self-interests. The rule is that the individual shall do as 'thou wilt'. Human nature seeks only to do as thou wilt as satan did when he fell from grace by pride (Isaiah 14...

Democracy's False Ethic of Fairness and Equity

Many think that democracy provides the best way for achieving fairness and equality before the law. However, this is far from the truth. Democracy is really rule by majority . That is, the masses dictate what should be the law. Thus, because masses dictate what should be the law, its values as to what should be the law are paramount. Morality and ethics are not necessarily paramount in determining what the law should be. Indeed, law is a set of values enforced by authority. Within the democratic framework, it is what people think or believe the right moral framework is that determines the law. There is a great deal of faith placed in human 'wisdom' and philosophy. Democracy, as such is anti-Christian because it elevates human thinking above God's. This explains not only why laws made within a democratic framework are anti-Christian, but the conundrums that arise within the democracy are anti-Christian. The most stark example of an anti-Christian conundrum that arises with...

Spirit of mammon operates through the Humanistic Ways of Democracy

Many believe that a nation that protects human rights is one that is just and good. They believe that such a nation is a utopian one that treats all citizens as equals because of the rule of law that is an inherent part of democracy. This, however, is only the veneer that occurs in the natural realm. Very few see the dark satanic side of democracy. Democracy has been called 'rule by majority'. Its "motto" is 'by the people, for the people, and of the people'. Indeed, this is the core of democracy. It is about serving the interests of the will of humanity, which is opposite to that of God. By doing that, it is arrogantly elevating itself above God as did the people who tried to build the Tower of Babel to reach the heavens (Genesis 11).  The people who gathered together to build the Tower of Babel said to each other, " Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens,  so that we may make a name  for ourselves; otherwise we...

Doing the will of humanity is to Serve satan

The west has been credited for democracy, and the rest of the world has envied the west for its democracy. What could be better, the freedom to choose the laws one finds desirable, and economic freedom? "How could democracy be evil?" one would think. Indeed, such is the thinking of most people, both Christians and the unsaved. Ephesians 6:12 makes it clear that " we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places ". We are not fighting people, whether communists, socialists, liberalists, feminists, homosexualists, terrorists, Islamists, Jews or any other human when fighting evil. We are fighting demons, real persons without a body. We are fighting satan. However, satan indeed uses those who he owns to wage war against true Christians.  The Bible throughout the Old Testament and New Testament has represented government as unrighteous and ...

The Real Face of Democracy

Many people, both Christians and the unsaved, think that democracy is the best system of free society and just government. They think that democracy is closest to political utopia on Earth. However, this is far from the truth and demonstrates how satan comes as an "angel of light" (2 Corinthians 11:14).  The underlying philosophy of democracy is that human interests trump all other things. Human "rights". Human needs. Human "wisdom". Human philosophy. This elevates human beings above all things, treating humanity as a god when only God is Sovereign above all things. Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that is] in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine [is] the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.    Both riches and honour [come] of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand [is] power and might; and in thine hand [it is] to make great, and to give ...

Why Capitalism Prevails Even When it Fails

Capitalism have enslaved countless to debt, but yet it still prevails. Thus, the question to be asked is why? It has enslaved many, increased inequality and justifies irresponsible lending of banks which always win over the bank customers, forcing them to pay for the banks. Why? It is of the spirit of mammon that the world can only serve, or for Christians, are only too tempted to serve. It assures people that paying debt for the sake of purchasing things is normal and legitimate, because after all, they are obtaining their basic 'needs'. Humans fall in lust for the eyes and flesh, thinking only how their material needs will provide security. It also assures people that paying debt is good because it shows how rich one, appealing to the pride of life. As such, people borrow more money, manifested in anxiety and ultimately a lack of trust in God. The root of this is pride which mammon works through. Capitalism's evil twin sister is the humanistic doctrine of democracy....

How satan tricks us (2): Creating Conflict

Satan knows human nature too well. He knows it better than us humans. He knows we are proud. He knows that we love to see the evil in others, and see only the good in ourselves. He knows that humans will only fight for what they think is right. So, what better way but to create conflict between humans. He uses conflict to promote hate between people, lies about others and enslaves people to fear of being attacked or bullied by others. He is able to do this only because of our pride in ourselves. Pride blinds one from seeing what is true. Ultimately, he tries to blind the unsaved to stop them from seeing the Truth. It is the role of the true Church to evangelise the lost and fight evil. Only the true Church has all the answers because it knows God who knows everything. The unsaved who are spiritually blind cannot understand evil for what it really is - evil from the heart because they know not sin. Thus, the unsaved cannot be blamed for evils. As harsh as this sounds, only the true ...

The Irony of Democracy

We have seen the recent fight for democracy in the Arab states and in Burma.  We have seen the fall of dictators who have transgressed their boundaries. Democracy is the most common form of government in the modern world. To theists, it is inherently evil. To secularists, it is the only acceptable form of government. To autocrats, it is a threat to their power. To communists, it is uncontrolled and leads to anarchy. The Twisted American Brand of Christianity

The Bible has been used to justify patriotism, capitalism and democracy - all anti-Christian doctrines. As a result, many in the Church are deceived and believe they are following the right Jesus when they are not. http://walkworthy.org/2014/05/the-twisted-american-brand-of-christianity-by-rick-frueh-at-the-battle-front-119/

Democracy is Anti-Christian: Christians need to WAKE UP

The ideology that is most embraced by the West and the least challenged is not liberalism, homosexualism, feminism, postmodernism or capitalism. It is democracy. The spirit of democracy has swept through the Church with many Christians showing support for separation between Church and state. Before one can understand a doctrine, one must carefully examine its origins. The origins of the doctrine of separation of Church and state arose when the Church failed to stop usury, abomination to God. (Ezekiel 18:13) The Bible may not mention the word ‘democracy’, but that does not mean God approves of it. Similarly, the Bible does not mention ‘abortion’, but God does not approve of it because it is murder. Democracy is rule by the people, for the people, of the people. It elevates humankind to be sovereign above all things, violating God’s sovereignty. In Romans 13:1-2, the Bible states: Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that b...

Democracy is Humanism

Democracy comes from the Greek words, 'demos', meaning people, and 'kratis' meaning power. So democracy literally means 'people power'. Voting "rights" are only a manifestation of democracy. At the core of democracy is the idea that the elected legislators are sovereign. This is in absolute contradiction to God's sovereignty - the Truth of God. Hence, democracy is anti-Christian. Hence, voting, according to the Bible, is not a right. Rather, it is a manifestation of a humanistic doctrine.

What are Humanism and Liberalism to do with Democracy and Capitalism?

Of course humanism and liberalism and Marxism are wrong, but what does that have to do with this current discussion [ about democracy and capitalism ] ? - theologian and Bible college lecturer. All bold text are mine. Democracy is a product of humanism and liberalism. Hence, the call for more rights and freedom to maintain a democracy, because that is what a democracy is: serving the interests of humankind to do as one chooses, not as God commands.  With regards to Marxism, I was never promoting Marxism. I was merely contrasting it to capitalism, that Marxism is also materialistic but seeks to prevent the rich from exploiting the poor.  To the person asking the question above, you are the one who is interpreting the Bible to suit your own interests. You are under the spirit of mammon, liberalism and humanism, the ideologies you criticise yourself.

Twisting the Bible to Justify Humanistic Democracy

So you understanding of what democracy is, is way off the mark. It is the least sinful system of government in a fallen world, and does the most to allow freedom, deny the usurping of power and the misuse of government, and make for freedom of religion and conscience . The fact that humanists like Obama and Gillard are trying to hijack democracies for their own evil purposes says nothing about democracy itself. In the same way plenty of people are trying to hijack Christianity for their own evil purposes. By your flawed reasoning, Christianity is evil, because it is being misused and abused by others. Nowhere does God command a theocracy in the New Testament. You are simply wrong there. God leaves things open as to how we are to govern ourselves, as spelled out in places like Romans 13. There we read of general principles and minimal requirements of what a just government should do. So there is no clear NT blueprint for government, but only general principles which I have already ...

God is Sovereign above All

Romans 13:1-7 - Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God : the powers that be are ordained of God . God alone is sovereign. Nothing else is, but God. Therefore, the person who says he (or she) is sovereign is trying to place his position above God. Democracy and Marxism essentially attempt to do this. This is why democracy and Marxism are against the Bible.
