A Vision from the Lord about the Spiritual Narcissist - Part 1

I received a revelation earlier this evening when I was taking my evening nap on Thursday 9 May 2019. It was about narcissism and its spiritual implications. I saw a vision where there was a reddish purple soft, squeezable egg-shaped object called the 'soul' that was being wrapped around by a cord. It was not a chain, but a rope. As it was almost completely being wrapped around, the egg-shaped object which represented the soul was then crushed. It cried out, and then the hand which crushed it stopped, only to wrap in around with the cord and crush it again. This same cycle continued to happen until infinity. The Lord told me that the cord represents the constraints that the spirit of narcissism imposes on the soul, and the crushing of the soul represents what the narcissist ultimately seeks to do: to crush a person. As the soul not only represents the person, but that a person is a soul, this crushing represents the crushing of person, to not simply diminish the person, or to s...

A Servant of God is Not to Seek Money, Fame, Power, Influence or Success

A Servant of God should never seek money, fame, power, influence or success. Why? Because such things are earthly temporal things. Seeking such things is earthly and worldly, without exception or qualification.  Jesus made it very clear, " For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also " (Matthew 6:21). This means that if one is seeking money, fame, power, influence or success, one's heart is with the world, for such things are of the world. Seeking financial security on this earth shows that one's heart is with the world. Doing anything to seek such financial security, such as marrying and having a family for financial security as a reason is worldliness and earthliness. It is sin. Such people will not see the Kingdom of Heaven and will go to Hell if they do not repent and turn to Jesus Christ. Jesus said: Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;   but lay up for yourselves treas...

The spirit of Mammon enslaves by Stealing one's Joy, and Driving one to Seek Riches

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (1 Timothy 6:10) Those who seek to be rich will pierce themselves with many sorrows. Such sorrows will then lead to destruction. People who chase after riches do not chase after riches because they are happy. They chase after it because of their sorrow. Their sorrow drives them to chase after riches, leading to even more sorrows. They are sorrowful for having less than they want, less than they think is fair, or less than others. It is because of this sorrow that they are driven to seek riches, thinking it will make them happy and joyful. However, such a person is like a hamster on a wheel. He seeks riches out of sorrow, thinking it will give him satisfaction, only to find that it drowns him in more sorrow. So, as he seeks more riches, he drowns himself in more sorrow each time. The spirit of mammon uses sorrow to dri...

Why the spirit of Mammon and the Prosperity "gospel" is Far More Dangerous and Perverse than You think

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. (2 Peter 2:1-3)  There are many prosperity teachers who have arisen today. They are all around us and are destroying many, leading them to Hell. Many genuine Church teachers, preachers and pastors, while acknowledging their wickedness, simply dismiss them and do nothing to counter them. However, this is not a sufficient or adequate response. For these false teachers who preach the prosperity "gospel", in either its more obvious or subtle form, are extremely dangerous....

Why Seeking Money will Lead to Many Sorrows

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.  For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. (1 Timothy 6:9-11) The Word of God makes it clear that those who seek money will pierce themselves with many sorrows. The question is what does it mean to seek money, and why is it that doing so will lead to many sorrows.  To seek money is not to be equated with working, and working is not to be equated with seeking money. They are different and separate concepts which people often confound together. People often think that to say that one should not seek money is to say that one should not work. That is a serious misconception about what it mean...

Excellent must read articles about mammon and riches from Christian Truth Center

The Smugness of Being Self-satisifed in Having One's Needs Sufficiently Met

Many in the modern Church in the west are smug behind their wealth. That includes not just those with large houses,  high levels of disposable income, and high-paying jobs. No, includes the many who do not consider themselves rich, but have a house to live in with electricity with a job, or who receive government assistance for the basic needs. Many of such people are just as proud in their hearts as those with large houses, much disposable income and high-paying jobs. Such people often do not realise that they are trusting in mammon, as opposed to God. A person trusts one or the other (Matthew 6:24).  They focus on long-term financial planning to ensuring that they and their families needs will be met, instead of simply trusting in God. They look forward to simply enjoying their "retirement", as opposed to working to advance in the Kingdom of God and do good works. They simply want to enjoy spending their life savings in old age, instead of giving their extra money or we...

It is Absolutely Possible to be Once Faithful and Fall Away from Christ. Be Warned.

Many local churches teach the dangerous doctrine of 'once saved always saved'. This is a false doctrine. While it is true that "he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6), one must not only persevere in the faith in Jesus Christ as the whole book of Hebrews exhorts. One must constantly guard against abandoning one's faith in Christ to go back into the world.  Hebrews 11:14-16 warns the follower of Christ not to go back into the world: For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. Even those listed in the Hebrews 11 Hall of Faith were tempted to go back to the world, to seek earthly riches, g...

The "Protest"-ant spirit of Liberalism and the Abominable Fruit of its Rebellion

Many in the modern western protestant Church love to blame the secularists for their liberalism and how they ruined the west with all their humanistic movements. Few things satisfy the typical western protestant Christian than criticising and blaming sinners for sinning, be it secularists, islamists, or their favourite target, the catholics. However, what many such rebellious protestants do not realise is that their protestant reformation which they so celebrate was of the spirit of such liberalism. Their liberalism, unlike that of the secularists, is of  worse kind, one that hides under the false guise of "righteousness" and "holiness" which has caused many to stumble and not be saved. Such is a hard saying. But love must speak the truth, and so that is what one must do. Before the reformation, the only denomination was catholicism. Indeed, even the most calvinist reformed protestants of the 21st century accept that the saints of old such as Polycarp and Augu...
