Giving: Considering the Poor

Great article from I'llBeHonest about considering the poor: http://illbehonest.com/giving-considering-the-poor Note: Anti Mammon and Usury Conquerors' stance is not that "A person’s earned wealth is his own to do with as he pleases" as the article says. It is that a person is to use his wealth for God's glory and as God wills.

Debt is a Trap, Be Wise, Avoid the Snare of Debt!

Australia currently has the highest level of personal debt in the world. A survey by Barna, a research organisation "focused on the intersection of faith and culture" reported in 2015 that the debt levels of Christians in America are about the same as that of their secular counterparts .  It seems like there is really no difference between the Church and the world in the west, on the issue of debt. Debt is a trap. The Bible contains many warnings to not be a guarantor for another. Proverbs, the book of wisdom gives many such warnings: My son, if you become surety for your friend, If you have shaken hands in pledge for a stranger, 2  You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth. 3  So do this, my son, and deliver yourself; For you have come into the hand of your friend: Go and humble yourself; Plead with your friend. 4  Give no sleep to your eyes, Nor slumber to your eyelids. 5  Deliver yourself like a gazelle from the h...

The spirit behind the Poverty "Gospel" is the same spirit of mammon behind the Prosperity "Gospel"

The prosperity "gospel" is a truly evil doctrine. Many people who attend false apostate "churches" do not realise that they do because they cannot discern it. Many contemporary local churches which are Biblical, orthodox and evangelical, sometimes lean towards it in the way they preach or think about God's provision, wealth and abundance.  Many in the modern Church, that is 21st century Christendom as a whole, often speak about how God has "blessed" them with material things, happily and smugly receiving what God has given to them out of His grace and His grace alone, whether it be a house, car, job, holiday or leisure time. Little do they realise that this thinking, although not what is called the prosperity "gospel" itself, are adopting exactly the same mindset as those who espouse and preach what so many in the modern "Church" denounce" as the prosperity "gospel".  They denounce it, but yet have a mindset that is...

Perverting the Apparent Foreigner's Exception to the Usury Prohibition to Justify Usury

It is so easy for the legalistic human heart to interpret apparent exceptions to prohibitions on things the heart loves, such as usury, a vile sin, as exceptions which justify usury in those cases. However, such apparent exceptions are only apparent. They are not real exceptions at all whatsoever.  Many in the modern Church love Deuteronomy 23:19-20 and love to bring it up when speaking about usury: Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury: Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it. They love to bring it up, of course, because it justifies their desire to worship both God and mammon together. In their desire to worship both God and mammon, on one hand worshipping God, yet on the other not fully and totally giving up a...

Giving out of one's Wealth, as opposed to one's Selfless Love, is a Vile, Abominable sin of Pride and Arrogance

And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had (Luke 21:1-4). Many in the modern Church think they are righteous in the eyes of God because of their 'generosity'. This think that because they give some of their money to their own local church, they are very righteous people. However, what such people do not realise is that even the wicked can be generous. There are many unsaved people who are willing to give their money, even much of it, to others. Do not be surprised if the world genuine does not believe the Church to be more generous than them, because there are many unsaved who are generous. How do I know that the evil can be generous? Matthew...

How the Mammonised System Blinds, Oppresses, Seduces and Enslaves the Masses, all without them realising it

And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.   But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof (Matthew 6:29-34). Many people do not understand how the mammonised system enslaves, including the ones who should know, that is, the Church. However, even many people in the modern Church does not understand. They think it is not to ...

The Heart of a Debtor lies with Mammon

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24). The heart of a debtor, no matter how rich or poor, employed or unemployed, well-fed or hungry, healthy or sick is this: one which does not trust God, and is seeking its own way in getting what it wants. The issue is not what the person is trying to buy by means of debt. The issue is where his heart lies. His heart lies in money, rather than God. He trusts in debt and bank more than God. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Matthew 6:21). Such are many in the modern Church whose personal debt is equal to that of the unsaved, and yet think it is acceptable to God to be in debt. They make the absolutely vile, abominable, disgusting blasphemous claim that God wills them to be rich, or that He rewards them with all material things they have, because He owes them such things in r...

Debt is an Enslaver, not a friend, but a Hater of your Soul

Many people, including many in the modern Church, think that debt is a benevolent friend to a person to advance or assist one's financial needs. They like debt, thinking it helps them get what they need or want, not realising that it is false wealth. They think it is wealth because it enables to get some thing in their hands. Those who think it is false wealth think that at least it is temporary wealth, which is not wrong, because wealth is not wrong. Such are doctrines of demons! Such doctrines have crept into the modern Church. Debt is unforgiving by its very nature. The purpose of debt itself is to enslave. Debt is a demand for an obligation owed to another. If it forgave and did not enslave, it would not be debt. Debt is bondage itself. It is the tool of the spirit of mammon who is active, and does exist, unlike what many unstable and ignorant people in the modern Church, such as modern evangelicals think.  Demons exist and do not sit around doing nothing. They are not idle...

The spirit of mammon seeks to oppress people using finance

The world, in being under the power of darkness, is unable to deal with moral and spiritual issues. When it seeks to do so, it uses evil to fight evil, begetting more evil.  Oppression is of the devil. The devil loves oppression because he wants to keep people in bondage to sin, he wants to make people in bondage to trusting in the flesh. He wants to blind people into thinking that trusting the the flesh and things of the world is liberating, such that one will be in bondage to him and his ways. He wants to control people into serving sin, by stirring up and bringing in worldly systems that make it hard for people to escape. He wants to trap people into such systems. Christian, you may argue that if people sin, that is their own choice. However, let us all look at ourselves and think about how we handle ourselves when faced with a system that seeks to trap us into sin, before pointing the finger at the unsaved and blaming people who can do nothing but sin. Many Christians simply ...

The False sense of Blessing

Many people in the modern church think that they are blessed because of the material things they have. It think it is these things that God gives to them as a blessing. Simply because God allows something to have something, does not mean it is a blessing - a reward for pleasing Him. The unsaved often have much prosperity, but are in no ways blessed by God. There is no such thing as a blessed unsaved person. No such thing. Such is blasphemy to say that an unbeliever can be blessed by God. How can God give a reward to a person who evil and wicked? How can He?  You may argue, doesn't He give undeserving sinners salvation, who are wicked? Such is a deceptive and blasphemous question asked by Christians who are either too naive to understand why God does not nor cannot bless the unsaved, or have a fear of people, such that they dare not think that the unsaved people cannot be blessed.  The blessings of God is different thing from His grace. God does give some 'common grace...

Why the World hates the poor (4): Poverty is an indictment of a wicked world

The existence of the poor, that is, those who are oppressed, and bullied by others with greater access to earthly security is itself an indictment of a wicked, vile world. Just as war is an indictment of a wicked, vile world, the existence of the poor, not a lower access to material things, but the oppressed and bullied people who have lower access to material things, is an indictment of a wicked, vile, godless world.  The Bible makes it very clear that the 'poor' as it uses the term are hated by their neighbours, hated by his "friends", and bullied by the so-called "rich" of the world. It is not the lack of absolute 'equality' to material things that indicts the world, but the manipulation, hatred and oppression of the poor.  The root of oppression is hate. Hate is murder in the eyes of God (1 John 3:15). Hatred does not necessarily manifest in outright abusive treatment, or even indifference although such are manifestations of hatred. Hatred is...
