Environmentalism is Nature Worship and Takes People to Hell, a Real Place of Torment and Suffering

Environmentalism is often regarded as a noble movement which simply seeks to protect the environment. However, what many do not understand is its true motive and the spirit behind it. Like all ideologies, there is a spirit behind it. That spirit is a wicked one, who blinds godless people into following the agenda of the devil.

What do I mean by a spirit behind it? Say, a teacher says to a student, “Don’t run on concrete”. That is done in the spirit of duty, rather than love. However, if a parent says the same thing to his child, that would be in the spirit of love. The spirit behind something included the motive, but not only the motive. It includes the heart of person as to why he stands for something. For example, a true follower of Christ opposes pornography in the spirit of holiness, righteousness and purity. This is in stark contrast to a feminist, who opposes pornography because of its infringement on a woman’s “bodily autonomy” in the spirit of the self-centredness, double-mindedness in thinking in wanting to be treated with respect but yet supporting fornication, and in the spirit of harlotry. She hates pornography because she believes it reduces her adulterous and fornicative “sexual freedom”, and therefore opposes it in the spirit that is completely diametrically opposed to that of a true follower of Christ.

Environmentalism is Idolatry and Worship of the Creation

The Bible makes it clear that God gave man to have dominion over the earth:

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth (Genesis 1:26-28).

Environmentalists, like all anti-Christ people, have accused the Bible of being evil, morally wrong and dangerous by claiming that the Bible tells people to destroy the environment. They pervert the God-given order of man having dominion over the Creation. Instead, these environmentalists think that Creation, who they worship, is to have dominion over man.

God is the one who created the Creation, or what these anti-Christ environmentalists simply call “the environment”, without even acknowledging that He is the Creator. They are among the people who Romans 1:20-25 refers to:

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

It is owing to their foolish darkness of mind, which is the fruit of rebelling against God (Romans 1:21) that they think that God is not the Creator of the planet, which they so love and worship. As such, they think that God, if they even believe He exists, not only does not care about the environment, that is His Creation, but that He commands people trash His Own Creation and destroy it. This is an absolutely asinine belief that is not even worth addressing.

Instead of giving glory to God for His Creation, they glorify “Mother Earth” or “Mother Nature” who they cry about, literally. They worship trees, whether in the more ritualistic sense by hugging and crying the forest, or by tying themselves to trees to stop the “evil corporations” from logging. This is not to say that corporations are always right in what they do. However, that corporations are not always right in what they do with respect to respecting the Creation of God and exercising Biblical dominion over the earth does not make the tree-hugging environmentalists right, or justify their case.

Environmentalist Hypocrisy

It is ironic how evil people who accuse Christians of being “fundamentalist” in the derogatory sense are often fundamentalist themselves. Environmentalists hold onto some fundamental doctrines themselves. This is not to say that having fundamentalism is wrong or bad. True Christianity is fundamentalist, and that is not something to be ashamed of at all. I am not ashamed of my Christian faith being fundamentalist. I count it to be a glorious beautiful honour to be criticised and ridiculed as a fundamentalist Christian as Jesus said:  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (Matthew 5:11-12).

The objection here I make above is against the hypocrisy of environmentalists, and not their fundamentalism per se, who ridicule and mock Christian fundamentalism. Such mockery is an honour to all Christians (Matthew 5:11; Luke 6:22), and a vile evil on their part as 1 Peter 4:14 makes clear:  If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
Environmental Fundamentalist Doctrines

The fundamental overarching doctrine of environmentalism is that the environment is sovereign over humankind.   This has lead to 5 fundamental tenets of environmentalism. There tenets are that:

1.      Humankind is a pollutant on earth;
2.      Humankind commits an evil by using non-renewable natural resources;
3.      Humankind not only can control the climate, but that his failure to do so is moral failure and should accordingly be held accountable;
4.      Humankind commits evil by eating meat; and
5.      Humankind is should sacrifice human life to the environment.

Tenet 1: Humankind as a Pollutant on Earth

Humankind is a pollutant on the earth, such that the human population need to be controlled. This explains why environmentalism calls for abortion and euthanasia, and that environmentalists, in the true sense of the term, are indifferent to the plight of those in third-world nations who die of mass starvation owing to their ban on the use of pesticides.

Tenet 2: Using Non-renewable natural Resources as Sacrilege

It is morally wrong to use “non-renewable” so-called natural resources, such as coal, because it will it permanently deplete the earth, their beloved “mother earth” of her “rights”. This is seen as not only disrespectful towards “mother earth”, but sacrilege to environmentalists. Just as true followers of Jesus Christ rightfully view child sacrifice as sacrilege and blasphemy against God as murdering an image-bearer of His, and is say to Him that He has no place in giving life, environmentalists view the extraction of coal from the earth as sacrilege and blasphemy against their beloved “mother earth”.
Tenet 3: Humankind’s failure to Control the Climate and the Earth is Evil

That there is no Creator God in control of the planet, such that humans not only must seek control the planet, but that must actualise such control to satisfy one’s moral duty to the environment. The recent Paris Treaty in which the world’s nations agreed that they must all collectively aim to lower the earth’s climatic temperature by 1.5oC.  Like the people in Genesis 11:1-9 who sought to build the Tower of Babel to the heavens in thinking they can do all things, these people are no different, if not worse.  People the modern world think that they can not only build a tower to heaven, but to control the heavens and earth by lowering its temperature “because it is the 21st century”, as if 21st century people were so much wiser and smarter than people of the ancient world, seeking to lower to earth’s temperate by 1.5oC.

Tenet 4: Humankind commits evil by eating meat

Environmentalists elevate all non-human life to the same as that of human life. This may seem innocuous, but this is really a very dangerous belief spiritually from the Christian perspective, and also even simply consequentially. It is to deny and spit in God’s face when He said:

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

God made Man he who is to have dominion over all living things. All non-human Creations of God are subordinate to Man. So, to claim that it is evil to eat meat from animals is itself to blaspheme God as it is to go against God’s order of Creation. This is not to say that a Christian must eat meat to be holy. Rather, it is to say that claiming that eating meat from animals is evil is to call evil what God calls good. It is therefore rebellion of the highest kind against God, by attempting to eradicate His standards, and replace them with one’s own.

Tenet 5: Humankind is should sacrifice human life to the environment.

They may not say this openly and publicly, but inside every environmental is a little nazi. He or she is full of hatred for humanity and God, and would seek to kill humanity and God if they can. She is a vile person who has a sick perverted mind, who worships the environment, much like the pagans of the ancient world. Indeed, ancient paganism features much worship of nature, if not centred on the worship of nature, or the Creation, and those who are described in Romans 1:25.

Since the environment is to be worshipped, and that to be worshipped, it follows that it is justified that human life is sacrificed. That is the logical outcome of environmentalism, and explains why environmentalists push for “population control”, and “eugenics”. The modern environmental movement started with the Nationalist Socialist Workers’ Party of Germany, that is, the Nazis.[1]
Environmentalism is a Worldview which Murders God

Just like evolutionism, environmentalism which is intricately connected with evolutionism is means to get rid of God. It is the manifestation of man’s hatred of God, that of radical utter depravity. Such depravity manifests itself in countless ways in the heart of man.

The Solution

Whether one is an environmentalist or not, all of us have sinned, having broken the Moral Law of God. God is just and perfect, and thus He must punish sin. That punishment is eternity in Hell. However, God, being the Creator of Humankind loved humanity, that He gave His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for your sins and mine. He died the death you deserved for your sins, by taking your punishment for you. So, as an analogy, you broke God’s Law, Jesus paid your fine. This means that on the Day of Judgment, God can dismiss your case, so that you won’t have to go to Hell, but be saved from the fires of Hell.

So, what you need to do to escape the just punishment of God is to turn from all your sins, and put your faith in Jesus Christ. You cannot escape Hell by your so-called ‘good works’ or ‘morality’.  It is only by faith in Jesus Christ alone, that you can be saved from the wrath of God. Do it today while you still have time.

Aggressive Christianity Needs to Revive and Make No Apology, and Have No Regrets for being Aggressive Whatsoever

Dr Muehlenberg documents numerous example of how the fear of man manifests in Christians when it comes to proclaiming the truth.

It is just ironic how they preach gentleness and impose their rules on ‘cultural sensitivity’, which they wrongly equate to Biblical gentleness, but yet, when they feel offended over trivial things, such as the use of the word ‘modern Church’, they are like an aggressive lion, seeking to devour.
The hypocrisy of these evangelicals is a stench in the nostrils of God.

They love to preach grace, but are yet full of legalism whenever they are offended about trivial things, such as the use of words, or how someone has broken the evangelical industrial complex rules based on their subjective feelings about how to deal with people, manifesting their astounding hypocrisy.

Stop Trying to Please Everyone

That's right Bill. We should not only stop trying to please everyone, but to please no one but God alone.

The Democratisation (or Demon-cratisation) of the Modern Western Church

The modern western Church has become so influenced by the world, as many know. But, one thing it does not realise is the anti-Christian spirit of democracy, or properly called demoncracy. Some think that democracy means to seek justice and fairness for all. However, this view shows great spiritual blindness towards what democracy really is.

Democracy means people power, and what people want. Jesus said that what is esteemed by men is an abomination to God: And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God (Luke 16:15). This means what it says, that what people in general, not just pharisees esteem is an abomination to God.

The lost 'secular' world and the pharisees are not only no different. They are the same. They are all unbelievers, hostile against God, and living by the vile flesh. So, do not say that Luke 16:15 only applies specifically to pharisees.

What Luke 16:15 really means is that anything that people value, and holding in high regard, is that which God hates. This is because the human heart is not capable of loving anything that pleases God (Romans 8:7-8).

The modern western Church become like the world. It makes all kinds of excuses for itself in adopting the world's doctrines, such as democracy. Democracy is of the spirit of self-centredness and humanism, manifesting in the belief that law should be by man's standards, which are always opposed to God's.

The leadership in the Church today is largely controlled by the congregation, the people over who God has appointed pastors to shepherd (Acts 20:28; 1 Peter 5:20). Instead of respecting the pastor, what do most people in the modern Church do?

They criticise him whenever they feel "offended" by him, demand that he be "gentle" and "kind" to them by not "hurting" them, slander him, gossip about him, argue with him when he preaches sound Biblical teaching, challenge him when he dares speaks boldly against sin, "advise" him to be not "offend" people by his bold preaching, under the false guise of "gentleness", and of course, seek to have him evicted from his local church ministry for speaking the truth boldly and unapologetically.

To even think one is entitled to do such things, is itself the height of hatred towards the pastor, and therefore towards God.

The vile belief in "rights" and "liberty" to do as one wants, is the problem. It is because of the belief in one's so-called "rights" that many people in the modern Church do the aforesaid things towards pastors, or anyone who is seeking to be bold and unapolegetic in preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, or speaking out against sin.

They love to criticise people for their 'methods' of Gospel-preaching, seeking the abolition of abortion, or whatever else that they are too fearful to do, lecturing them about "gentlenesss", simply because they are bold and unapologetic in preaching the Gospel, and proclaiming Biblical truth. Yet, in their haranguing of such faithful workers, they themselves are doing the opposite of what they preach. They vile hypocrites are the problem, not just in rooting out sin from the Church, but in also hindering faithful workers for Christ by their despicable bickering.

They demand that faithful workers of Christ, lower their standards to satisfy them, out of their discomfort at seeing how someone is more holy than them. Feeling upset, they impose their man-made rules of the evangelical industrial complex, which totally causes spiritual disillusionment, and therefore snares the person from fully doing the work of Christ.

This is all based on the self-centred belief that pastors, and faithful workers of Christ must serve them, instead of God.

Such is demoncracy in the Church.

Christians Tolerating Sin in the Church and Man-Fearing Pastors and Evangelists are the Problem. Democratisation of the Church worsens the Problem.

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner (Hebrews 13:17-19).

Many pastors are too fearful to preach, not only truth, but truth in a bold and unapologetic way, so as to deny its power, because of the 'democracy' in the modern Church, where the people of the congregation have power to effectively determine who is "their" pastor. Church leaders bow down to "the people" in the Church, and reject pastors who do speak the truth, in the proper way, that is the bold way that makes no apology for the truth. Pastors, and evangelists who speak truth, but in a whimping way which apologise for the truth are part of the problem.

It is not enough that one speaks Biblical truth. One must speak it, so as to allows its full power to manifest. This can only be done by boldness for God's Word, having no apology for its truth, and not caring how sinful man might react to God's Word. That is the problem with many pastors, evangelists and preachers today. They are full of the vile fear of man, and are even arrogant enough to think that sin is determined by whether they feel offended by the act concerned, rather than whether God is offended.

Such people are offensive to God Himself, and hinder the work of God, and those who seek to preach boldly the work of God. They are stumbling blocks and do not even understand how, and even that they are the stumbling block. They are not only part of the problem. They are the problem in their rebellion against God, their hatred of His Word, despite their appearance of holiness, and righteousness. They despise God in their fear of man, and apology for His Truth. To even think about apologising for God's truth is itself an abomination.   The people of the Church who tolerate sin, even to the slightest are also the problem. Tolerating sin can be very subtle. To even fail to acknowledge the full power of any particular teaching of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:5), or to downplay the evils of philosophies that exalt themselves against Biblical wisdom (2 Corinthians 10:5), is itself the toleration of sin. What further hinders the work of good true Biblical pastors who not only do not compromise, but boldly proclaim Biblical truth, is the "democratisation" of the Church.

People in the Church are now the ones with the power over the pastor, the rightful leader of his church which God has placed him in. A church where the pastor does not exercise authority over the people, that is to rule over them is an unbiblical one, as Hebrews 13:17-19 says:

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

This is a clear command to submit to the pastor, which many in the modern Church did not do. They won't submit to anyone. They despise the doctrine of submission to anyone, whether pastor, government, employer, or husband. This manifests in the belief that one can have one's own way to understand the Bible, or that one needs to think, with one's puny brain, a "new" way to evangelise "effectively and efficiently" among many other fleshly, humanistic, vile self-centred beliefs.

Although the videos as linked below may talk specifically about the catholic church, and whether you believe the catholic church, as it is now, is Christian or not, the message also applies to the Church. And, don't you dare start the 'catholic' vs 'protestant' debate. It is simply a distraction from the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Watch these videos:

If you are not a Christian, read this:

If you have lied, stolen anything no matter what it was worth, fornicated, or used God's name in vain, for example, by saying 'OMG', you have sinned against God. God exists and has a Moral Law. This Moral Law is not like the laws of your country that you might be used to. Unlike the laws of your country, is one that is written on the hearts of all people, and known by your conscience. The Moral Law of God is also eternal and never changes, whereas those of nations do. Importantly, the Moral Law of God is the Law by which God will judge all people, including you.

If God finds you guilty of breaking even one of his Laws, even once, He being perfect in goodness and justice, must punish you. That punishment is eternity in Hell, a place of suffering and torment. I don't want that for you, which is why I am tell you this.

The Good News, however, is that God sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, so that anyone who turns from his or her sins, and truly trusts in Jesus Christ, His Person and Work, will be saved from God's just wrath against you. No amount of good works on your part can make you right with God. It is only by Jesus Christ alone, through faith alone, by grace alone. All our righteous works are as filthy rags to God (Isaiah 64:6). So, do that today - while you still have time. Don't wait for tomorrow. You don't know if you will live tomorrow.
