The spirit of Religion makes Perverse Use of the Law to seek Blessings for oneself and to Curse others

People are talking about all kinds of evil spirits that are working in Church today. The two spirits which everyone loves to talk about are the spirits of jezebel and the spirit of witchcraft. Yet, they almost never talk about the spirit of mammon, which is the only spirit that Jesus actually mentioned, and the spirit of religion, which was the spirit that accused Jesus of blasphemy and murdered Him. This is itself a manifestation of the spirit of religion which does nothing but accuses not simply the innocent, but the righteous, of being wicked. And those who had laid hold of Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.  But Peter followed Him at a distance to the high priest’s courtyard. And he went in and sat with the servants to see the end.   Now the chief priests, the elders, and all the council sought false testimony against Jesus to put Him to death,  but found none. Even though many false witnesses came forw...

False Love is Self-centred Love that Worships Oneself and Hates God

The doctrine of love is the doctrine that people in today's Church love the most. People love to hear about the doctrine of love, not because they are full of love, but because they want to be loved. However, their want to be loved is derived from their self-centred love that is vile, evil and wicked. They want to be loved, but have no love themselves. That is the height of all self-love, which is nothing but idolatry. The ultimate manifestation of idolatry is the love of self. It is to love oneself for being oneself which is exactly what the problem of self-love. It regards oneself as worthy of love, when one is not worthy of love at all. It is a proud love of self, that the world regards as 'self-respect'. Self-love is Adamic, full of venom and the hatred of God. For it thinks highly of itself, in thinking itself to be worthy when it is not worthy at all, but worthy only for eternal Hellfire for seeking to be independent of God.  Independence from God is the beg...

The True Pursuit of Jesus is to Stop Pursuing Anything of this World for Oneself and to Devote Oneself to Him Fully and Wholeheartedly

Many professing Christians claim that they are following Him, but the reality is that they are not truly following Jesus. While they may try as hard to obey Him, they cannot fully obey all of His Commands because they do not fully accept all of His Commands in full.  They are willing to follow Jesus, but only on their terms. They are willing to follow Him only where their desires, wants, dreams, visions and ambitions can be satisfied. Whenever following Him conflicts with their desires, wants, dreams, visions and ambitions, they do not want to follow Him, but instead want God to accommodate for these desires, wants, dreams or ambitions.  Such so-called 'christians' are those who appear godly but are ambitious about their own careers or vocations, including ministry careers, are driven, and are constantly talking about their dreams and 'waiting on God' to fulfill their desires. Such people are not true Servants of God. Instead, they want God to serve them. They serve...

The Abominable Hypocrisy and False Obedience of Many Professing Christians

Many in the modern Church in the west talk about how to deal with disappointment, and pain, as if dealing with their disappointments and pain are the key things of their Christianity.  Articles on Christian websites constantly speak about how one simply needs to "wait on God", "be patient" and "keep praying" to God to get what one wants, so as to simply comfort people that God will given the what they want. The subtle lie is that God will simply give what one wants if one wants it enough, and that God is obliged to give what one wants.  The issue is not about whether Jesus gives you want you want. The issue, and only issue, is whether you truly love Jesus and obey Him.  The focus on whether one gets what one wants reveals the tragic state of modern Christianity in the west. The truth is that many professing followers of Christ come running to Jesus asking Him to give them whatever earthly temporal want they have, be it a house, spouse, car, money, ho...

Christ is the ONLY and ULTIMATE Blessing

Many in the modern Church think that they are so "blessed" because they have a house, spouse, car, dream career, take regular holidays and have plenty of disposable income. That itself a tragic indictment of the Church. What do all these things mean if you live a life not worthy of Christ? Nothing. It is just vanity of vanities. These things where they tempt you to love the world, or your own life more than Christ are just curses to you. None of these things are blessings in themselves. They may be manifestations of God's favour, but they are not in and of themselves blessings. It is Jesus who is not only the ultimate blessing, but the only one. Without using all that God graciously bestows upon you for Jesus Christ, to serve Christ and your fellow man, all the so-called "blessings" you have are not blessings. They are just empty vain curses. Your own very life is just vanity of vanities, a vain curse to you where it is not worthy of Christ. For God gave y...

It is Truly More Blessed to Give than to Receive

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35). Many in the modern Church would say that they agree that it is more blessed to give than to receive because the Bible says so. But yet, so many think that a person is more blessed when he or she has more earthly things such as more money, yearly holidays, higher income, a satisfying job, stable and steady career, good marriage, good children, prestigious education, and the like.  Some of these things are good gifts from God, but that is NOT the question or the issue.  The issue is whether a person having more earthly things, including good gifts from God is more blessed than those who do not. Many in the modern Church think so, that one is more blessed when one has received more, rather than whether one has given more. Such is a false doctrine of demons which will take many ...

The Rich Young Ruler was Not "blessed", but Accursed

The story of the rich young ruler recorded in Matthew 19:16-22 with parallel accounts in Mark 10:17-27 and Luke 18:18-23 is a very sobering one. Many people in the modern Church read it and skim over it, thinking that there is no lesson in it for them. In particular, they think that the commandment to give up all one has for Christ is only a commandment for the rich young ruler. They love to point out that one does not need to sell everything one has to follow Christ, and make an argument by saying that Jesus did not say people need to literally sell all one has to become homeless or impoverished. However, Jesus makes no such statement. Such a statement simply a legalistic statement which seeks to miminalise Christ's command for self-denial, by the unrighteous use of the law, demonstrating a miminal love of Jesus. There is no guarantee or promise by God to followers of Christ that they will be rich Biblically meaning that one will live a comfortable life whatsoever. Do not be ...

The spirit of Independence Feeds on the spirit of Competition

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:3-8). We live in a world full of competition and the desire to be independent, especially the western world. Competition in and of itself is a manifestation of independence, wanting to get what one wants in one's own way as opposed to following the ways of God, which is in and of itself a sin. Those who are full of the spirit of independence love competition. Competition is not something that they feel ...

Can a Person who Does Not Want to Serve Mammon be Under the spirit of Mammon? Absolutely

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24). Many people in the modern western Church just do not understand what it means to be under the spirit of mammon. You can keep on explaining to them till you go blue in the face, as I have done, only to be met by angry rebukes, hostile reactions, and of course, harsh lectures on being gentle, making such lectures full of hypocrisy and absolutely foolish.  These Christians in the west are just hopeless, literally, hopeless when it comes to understanding all kinds of spiritual truths, including the truth about the spirit of mammon. If you speak to them nicely, they will use that of course against you, and confuse you with all their foolishness they sprout. They sprout all kinds of vile, evil, abominable disgusting, wicked foolish ideas such as 'cultural sensitivity', the idea that one should ...
