A Vision from the Lord about Bondage owing to Marriage

The following is a vision that the Lord gave me on Thursday 25 April 2019 while I was taking a nap: I had a vision during dusk during my nap. I saw two images. The first image was of a man and a woman lovingly and freely embracing each other, lip-locked, and most significantly without a cord wrapped around them to bind them together. They were bound together in one flesh. The second image showed a man and a woman with a cord wrapped around them both to bind them together. Unlike in the first image, they were neither embracing each other at all, nor lip-locked. The expression on their faces was one of anger, bitterness, sadness, pain, frustration or upset - anything but joy and peace. Despite the cord wrapped around them both, they were still not bound together in one flesh. They were still separate from each other, despite being wedded to each other.  The Lord told me that most marriages are like that of the second image where the husband and wife are supposed to be one flesh b...

How to Know if the Earthly Temporal Things You Have are NOT From God

Much of the time, the earthly temporal things people have are not truly from God. Satan himself gives people such things, including things that are not inherently sinful, such as food and temporal authority. Satan tempting Jesus in the desert shows that satan himself is capable of giving people things they want or need (Matthew 4:3-9). Many people, especially the most rich people, work very hard for the things of the world, and are rewarded by the world. They devote themselves to pleasing people to gain their favour, and use all kinds of ways to get what they want, for themselves, even if it requires one to be unethical, immoral, unjust or unrighteous. They can never rest when things do not go their way, and seek to 'resolve' difficulties by all manner of evil and wickedness.  The things which they have are not from God, and are not God's "blessings", but from the devil, which the world rewards them with.  They earned what they have as a result of seeking thin...

The Modern Church's Foolish Idolatry of Marriage and Family

The modern Church has made marriage and family an idol. People of conservative Christian circles keep trying to scare young people, especially young women into getting married young, in their early 20s, most of whom are hardly mature enough to look after themselves, let alone look after another person. They love to spread the narrative that a woman who is unmarried and pursued a vocation will be in a nursing home, all lonely and sad in her sixties.  Do not fall for their lies and scare tactics of these marriage-idolators. If you are serving God and seeking His Kingdom, be it by serving Him in ministry or in a secular profession, He will provide all you need all the days of your life.  “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?   Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather in...

The False Cistern of Marriage and Family. Focus on Christ, not Marriage or Family

But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.   But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none ; And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away . (1 Corinthians 7:28-31). Many in the modern western Church place many false hopes and security in things that are good blessings, and therefore pervert the goodness of such blessings. One such thing is marriage and family. There has been much talk in the Church about marriage. Christian marriage blogs focus on how married couples can improve the conjugal union between spouses, talking about all its joys, often in somewhat boastful ways. Other Christia...

What does it mean to Store up Treasues on Earth?

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Matthew 6:19-21). Everyone in the modern Church in the west acknowledges that Jesus told us to love one another (John 13:34-35; 15:12). Everyone is of course, very happy to hear that because of their own selfishness in expecting others to love them.  However, the same God who told us to love one another and love one's enemies (Matthew 5:43-48; Luke 6:27-36), also said that no one can serve both God and mammon (Matthew 6:24) and to give up one's whole self to follow Him (Matthew 16:24; Mark 8:34; Luke 9:23), which so many in the modern Church in the west find so hard to accept.  Few churches preach on this topic, and even where it is preached about, t...

Being in Debt is Itself Bondage to the spirit of Mammon, and the Inroads of the spirit of Mammon into your Heart. Pray for the Church that she will repent from serving money and that God will have mercy on her.

Many in the modern Church in the west deny the exists of real demons which seek to tempt people into sin. Nothing can be more misguided than this. They ridicule and mock all talk about the spirit of mammon, and to look "biblical" and thinking they are so "biblical" and "holy", simply retort that they find many verses in the Bible about sin from the human heart. Yes, the human heart is inclined to sin and can but only sin (Jeremiah 17:9; Matthew 15:19; Mark 7:21). However, this does not mean that there are no evil demonic spirits out there who seek to seduce people, including true believers of Christ into sin, to snatch the faith out of their hearts.  There is a such thing as deceiving spirits. Just as how there are many verses on  sin from the human heart, there are also multiple verses on demonic spirits who seek to tempt people away from the faith in Jesus Christ: But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and...

"Moral Hazard" is a Fleshly, Earthly and Demonic Excuse for Usury

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish (James 3:14-15). The world comes up with all kinds of excuses to justify sin. Many of these excuses seem very wise, sophisticated and reasonable. However, that is part of demonic deception, which deceives all those who trust in earthly, and fleshly wisdom, and trust not God. All worldly wisdom as described by James 3:14-15 is a manifestation of bitter envying and strife: But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish . One of the myriad of excuses for sin which the world thinks is totally and absolutely legitimate in justifying sin, is that of 'moral hazard'. It believes that moral hazard is a legitimate excuse for usury.  The "moral hazard" doctrine purports that a...

Expecting to Receive in Return is Earthly, Fleshly and Worldly

For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil (Luke 6:32-35). The world expects to receive what it lends to people in return. It thinks it is legitimate to so expect, not because it truly upholds the righteous principle of honouring one's debts as per Psalm 37:21: The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.   The world has such an expectation out of its own self-centredness, thinking that it is entitled to what it has, and that what it h...

Partiality Towards the Poor is Itself a Manifestation of the spirit of Mammon

It is embedded in western psyche that one should be full of sympathy towards the needy, and side them , just because they are the underdog. I call it the "underdog sympathy complex". Australia is a country with such a complex, as Australians love to side with the underdog, and love to despise those who are elite. This may seem like compassion, empathy and fairness, which is what Australians love to think of themselves to be, and think they are entitled to. However, the underdog sympathy complex is not compassion, empathy, fairness or justice. It is nothing but favouritism towards the poor and needy, from selfish fear that one will be in that position oneself. This leads to what many Christians in the west call 'socialistic' thinking.  The socialistic thinking that many in the west have towards the poor and needy is earthly thinking, as it thinks that what people ultimately need is to have the basic human needs, instead of that Jesus is not only what people need, bu...

The spirit of Independence Feeds on the spirit of Competition

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:3-8). We live in a world full of competition and the desire to be independent, especially the western world. Competition in and of itself is a manifestation of independence, wanting to get what one wants in one's own way as opposed to following the ways of God, which is in and of itself a sin. Those who are full of the spirit of independence love competition. Competition is not something that they feel ...
