Blessings are to be used to Give to Others, Not for Oneself to Consume

Blessings are often thought by many in the modern western Church to be that for oneself to enjoy. However, that is only a half-truth, and is a very dangerous half-truth. Many Christians think that having a new car, big house, or high income is a sign of God's favour to them. They think such is a blessing, and therefore for them to enjoy for themselves, and their own lives on earth. Such is an extremely self-centred, selfish and prideful mindset. It assumes that one has what one has because one deserves it, when all things are given by God's grace:   Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17). Note how James 1:17 refers to good gifts, and not entitlements or rights. People may be obliged by God on their own part to treat people in the right way or conduct themselves in right way towards others. However, the good which comes from the righteousness of...

To Hell with Your Humanistic, Worldly Earthly Hypocritical Sympathy for the Poor and the Needy

Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour (Leviticus 19:15). It is important to help the needy and poor as the Bible commands (Leviticus 25:35; Deuteronomy 15:7, 11; Jeremiah 22:3; Matthew 5:42; Acts 20:35). Why does the Bible tell us to help the poor and the needy? Because they are those in the world who are bullied, oppressed, and hatred by the world out of its sinful, wicked, evil love of self and hatred of God.  What the Bible means by the 'needy' and 'poor' are exactly those people, those whom the world hates, mocks, scorned, despises, and looks down on out of its proud wicked, evil heart. For the needy and poor are those who do not have any worldly things, no power, money or possessions, respect, status or anything else the world esteems (See Matthew 19:16-26, Luke 12:33-34; 14:12-14).  That is the true Biblical definition ...

Help the Needy, and Do Not be Tainted by the World

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world (James 1:27). The Bible tells followers of Christ to help the needy and, indeed, there are many followers of Christ who do good works to serve the needy. However, what many often to do realise is that helping the needy people of the world can taint oneself. This is because many needy people are people of the world, who do not know God. They are wicked sinners like any other wicked sinner, rich or poor, powerful or lowly, famous or unknown. Needy people can be even more mammonised than those who are rich in the earthly sense of being rich. Their heart can and is full of wickedness and vile evil (Jeremiah 17:9). This is all too easy to forget as one is thinking about their earthly plight and how less "fortunate" they may be compared to oneself.  Such thinking is a manifestation of earthliness, that feels humanist...

Lukewarmness is a Manifestation of Seeking to Serve Both God and Mammon

And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD (Leviticus 18:21). In the Old Testament, the Israelites, while they offered sacrifices to God, also at the same time offered sacrifices the molech, the "god" or demon, of child sacrifice.  Such is the double-mindedness of the Old Testament Jews, most of whom were unbelievers. However, just because one is not an unbeliever does not mean that one cannot fall into such double-mindedness. The Church of Laodicea was full of such double-mindedness. It was a Church made up of believers, who became lukewarm (Revelation 3:14-22). Lukewarmness is the manifestation of the desire to serve two masters, that which are diametrically opposed. The Church of Laodicea was full of people who on one hand, wanted to serve God because of the peace and joy, but yet the same time, wanted to gain the 'good' things of the world. They wanted riches of the world...

To Work For Money, Rather than For God, is to Love Money

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24).  Many in the modern Church think that there is nothing wrong with working for money. They think that when people work, it is to be done for money. What is even more dangerous is that they think that working for money is compatible with working for God. They do not even realise that a person who works for God cannot work for money, and a person who works for money, cannot serve God.  What they do not realise is that to work for money, is self-centred and self-serving. What working for money is, is to trust and love mammon. Who a person works for is who a person worships. A person who works for God is a person who worships God, whereas a person who works for mammon is a person who worships mammon. You may say that the Bible commands the follower of Christ to serve one's master or empl...

The Church must ERADICATE and BURN, and CAST AWAY ALL Roots of the Abortion Movement. NOW!!!!

Many people are finally just starting to wake up to the evils of abortion. Many think that the defunding of the child-murder centre, Planned Parenthood is a victory in itself which will inevitably lead to the abolition of abortion. However, defunding Planned Parenthood is like chopping of the bad fruit from a bad tree. The (bad) fruit will grow again where the roots not eradicated and cast away to be burnt up in flames. Thus, it is absolutely crucial for all abolitionists to identify the roots of the child-murder movement, eradicate them and cast them into the fire. The doctrines of “rights” in the west The doctrine of ‘rights’ which was embraced by the west during the Enlightenment Era lays the ideological foundation for the child-murder movement.  The Enlightenment Era signified a total break from Christendom: it was a rebellion and backlash against the Church. One doctrine commonly accepted by the masses during the Enlightenment was that of rights, a doctrine of the spi...

Fighting for 'fairness' but not justice is of the spirit of bitter envy and self-seeking

The world seeks to fight for fairness, according it its own 'perspective', another name for self-seeking, selfish interests. Even many in the modern (21st century) Church whinge like a little child about 'unfairness' whenever a person of the Church makes some general statements critiques about it, simply because a particular individual may not agree with it. Such is the naturalness of humans. Many unsaved people are perfectly happy to fight what they as individuals perceive to be unfair, of course, to them or those they care for, that is, their own.  However, they never can fight for true justice for they are not walking in righteousness. Those who do not seek God cannot understand justice:  Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand it completely (Proverbs 28:5). Thus, whenever an unbeliever is seeking to fight evil, he or she is not seeking for true justice at all whatsoever. It doesn't matter that she is seeking to "fight e...

Rights are not Justice

Many people, including many Christians in the west think that fighting for rights equates to justice. Nothing can be further from the truth. You may argue that this is just a game of semantics that I am playing, by construing the term 'rights' to mean rights to immorality. No! One must look at the spirit behind the doctrine of rights, the spirit of liberalism.  The spirit of liberalism is the one who works through those who are seeking to create an ethical framework for society to make it one that is more "ethical", 'moral" from a human-centred worldview, which thinks that God is not needed for anything.  The spirit behind the liberalism seeks to make the masses feel oppressed by not having rights, that is, self-entitlement to anything, whether things that are immoral or moral in themselves. The spirit of rights is of the spirit of self-entitlement, selfishness and love of self. It is contrary to the Bible's commands to do good to others, seek not one...

Fighting evil not to glorify God and serve Him is itself evil

Many in the modern Church think that fighting evil is a righteous thing to do. This is only a half-truth, and a very very dangerous one. It is not that the unsaved do not seek to fight evil - they do, and often with a great passion, and devote their whole life to doing so. Take example, Joan Kirner, former Premier of the state of Victoria, Australia who passed away yesterday at the time of writing. She is described as one who 'hated injustice'. She was no Christian at all for she was a pro-abortion feminist; an ardent enemy of God who would now be burning in Hell. The unsaved hate injustice. The whole world hates injustice, not because it obeys God in anyway, or is open to the Moral Law of God, but because of its own selfishness. Yes, the world hates what is perceives to be unjust because of its own selfishness. It is not because of God's common grace that enables the unsaved to agree with God about what is unjust that is hates injustice. Romans 3:10-12 make it clear that...
