The modern Western Church is so apathetic, lazy and weak in fighting evil. Why? Because of its comfort in its material riches, and also her fear of man. The modern west in the most mammonised society, as well as the most humanistic in the modern world. So, practicing true Christian conduct risks on of losing one's favour with those who feed one's belly. Owing to this attachment to material earthly riches, pleasure and comfort, and the increasing secular humanistic opposition which threatens this earthly comfort, many Christians in the west are not just fearful of man - they are full of the fear of man, as if the word and opinion of man mattered more than the Word of God. They think they do not compromise the Word of God, but they do in denying its power to save souls by trying to reduce the offensive power of it. There is nothing more vile than the ideology of liberalism and its fruit. There are many evil doctrines in the world, but none is more evil than liberalism. Liberalism not merely foolish and the result of a darkened heart and mind (Ephesians 4:18). It is the height of pride and arrogance and the height of all perversion in miminising the standards of God and His ways to be usuable only when it provides some "benefit" to humankind.  Instead of totally rejecting Christian doctrine like fundamentalist religions which strive for their own righteousness, liberalism looks at the moral doctrines of Christianity as a dead prey and selects what it believes to be the "good parts" of it, and discards the rest once done, like a vulture feeding on dead carcasses. Modern western society loves to talk about "justice" and gets involved in all kinds of activism to fight for what it calls "justice".  It claims to hate violence and care for children, yet thinks that slaughtering babies in the womb a woman's "right", "choice", a human "right", "healthcare" or "convenience". It claims to believe in human dignity, but yet thinks that pornography is acceptable.  Even if a person in modern society hates pornography for its disrespect of human dignity, it hates it only for selfish reasons, but yet thinks that 'erotica' is acceptable because it is "respectful". It selects the type of pornography it thinks to be acceptable, as if the morality and ethics of pornography depends on the situation.  This is a manifestation of double-mindedness, in wanting to select what moral principles one wants to believe in to justify one's own sins. We live in an age which hates those who do good and those who do evil, a sign of the Last Days (2 Timothy 3:3). We live in an evil, wicked, despicable, vile, Hell-deserving, death-deserving, world which thinks murdering child in the womb is a "woman's right", that a woman has a "right" to beat her husband (or her co-fornicating boyfriend), evolution is truth, homosexuality is acceptable, euthanasia is compassion, and that profanity is fashionable. Yet, these multitude of evils represent only a minuscule number of evils of the modern world. And, of course, it thinks itself good and righteous in doing and approving such evil.  The Bible makes it very clear that not only those who do, but also who approve such things are worthy of death: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them (Romans 1:32). For there is no respect of persons with God (Romans 2:11). Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great (Deuteronomy 1:17). Many people in the modern western world think of themselves as so ethical and morally good because they support the downtrodden, or alleged downtrodden, in favour over those who are powerful, rich and strong. Even the modern Church in the west is not immune from this spiritual disease of respect of persons, or favouritism.  The west, including many in modern Church in the west not only has respect of persons. It is full of respect of persons. This respect of persons is manifested in all kinds of ways, whether it be manifested in helping only the poor get their earthly temporal basic needs, and being full of human-centred sympathy towards their plight; helping only victims of sex trafficking and no one else as if they are only people in the world who suffer; or supporting the criminalisation of only those who ...

From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not (James 4:1-2). We live in a world full of conflicts, wars, tension and fighting. The world asks, how to solve all these conflicts, all while accommodating for the self-interest of all parties, by preaching that people should simply negotiate. Negotiation as practiced by the world is full of immoral, unethical deals, where people and nations are willing to not kill a person they already hate, which is already murder in the heart (1 John 3:15) , just because of money. However, the spiritually mature follower of Christ knows that none of these conflicts can be solved in any way, nor that it is even about 'solving' conflicts. Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him (Ezekiel 18:13) Usury is not recognised by many people, including many of the modern western Church to be immoral. Despite what the Bible says about usury numerous times, time and time again, many in the modern western Church think that there is nothing wrong with it. They vehemently deny that it is evil, denying what the Word of God says about usury.  Rather, they, like the world, think that it is an outdated issue, relevant to only Old Testament Israel, and perhaps the Medieval Era of Christendom. The Bible consistently commands the follower of Christ, not suggests or advises the follower of Christ to give what he has, but commands . Owing to the pride of the flesh, it is against the flesh to give selflessly in a genuine manner of love. Many in the modern Church find it very hard to accept. When confronted with such claim, they are quick to retort with all kinds of false doctrines of giving that are not worthy of discussion, even arguing that such a claim is one that implicitly justifies theft. You may think that you are so righteous and holy because you give. The world also gives. It is full of so-called 'charities' that pride itself on its "good works" which are filthy rags on the eyes of God (Isaiah 64:6). Without the love of God in oneself, one cannot be truly charitable. Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.   But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth .
