The Inconsistency of Those who Support "Homosexual marriage" but Yet Not other Deviant "Marriages"

To those of you who support "homosexual marriage", you need to answer where is the line between legitimate and illegitimate marriage to be drawn. Do you think it is right to for three people marry each other? Is it right for a person to marry his dog? Is it right for an adult to marry a child? Most of those who support "homosexual marriage" will say no. This is not because they still "at least" have some decency, or that by "God's grace" they can still be opposed to such things which they know to be wrong in their hearts (Romans 2:14-15).  No! This is their disgusting hypocrisy, in supporting one type of deviancy, out of fear of people, but yet the same time, not supporting other deviancies they should be supporting as such people who are deviant and vile. In being opposed to "human-animal marriage", polygamy and "adult-child marriage", such proponents of "homsexual marriage" are being all the more evil, by the

To Work For Money, Rather than For God, is to Love Money

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24).  Many in the modern Church think that there is nothing wrong with working for money. They think that when people work, it is to be done for money. What is even more dangerous is that they think that working for money is compatible with working for God. They do not even realise that a person who works for God cannot work for money, and a person who works for money, cannot serve God.  What they do not realise is that to work for money, is self-centred and self-serving. What working for money is, is to trust and love mammon. Who a person works for is who a person worships. A person who works for God is a person who worships God, whereas a person who works for mammon is a person who worships mammon. You may say that the Bible commands the follower of Christ to serve one's master or employer.

The Abolitionist Petition to Abolish Human Abortion in Oklahoma

Calling Oklahoma Pro-Life Legislators to Repent

The Spirtual Powers Behind Usury are Actively Seeking to Corrupt People Even More than they Already Are

Usury is not merely some transaction between people where one borrows money and the other lenders and charges interest. It has a real spiritual dimension behind it, with all manner of spiritual darkness working through the world's system of usury. It is far darker than we can imagine. Just as child sacrifice, called 'abortion' has real dark spiritual powers working behind it to encourage child sacrifice, who promote demonic doctrines to those sinners who support abortion, for which a demon is responsible for the doctrine, that same is with usury.  Behind every doctrine which justifies or tolerates usury is a demon. That demon is responsible for the doctrine it spreads to people.  There is a real such as thing as a doctrine of demons: " Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits , and doctrines of devils " (1 Timothy 4:1). There is also a such thing as seducing spirits who seek

Usury is itself the Love of Money, which Begets More Love of Money

Sin begets more sin. That is the effect of sin. It cannot produce anything good, but more sin. Anything "good" it might produce, is not "good", but rotten fruit that looks good on the outside, but inside it is rotting, and dying. The 'good' it might produce may be, for example, something like the ban on pornography by earthly secular law. This may seem good on the outside to the follower of Christ. If it is based on evil underlying principles, and doctrines of demons, such as that pornography should be prohibited because breaks down human relationships, rather than because it is evil per se, a fleshly means of reasoning, this deceptively 'good fruit' is actually bad fruit. Sin encourages more sin. Sin has not only the power of death and destruction to it, and the power of corruption. It has the  power of enslavement. Those who are under the power of sin,  in the case of the unsaved, or still struggling with a particular sin, in the case of the save

As long as one is In Debt, One Will be Serving Mammon

Many in the modern western Church are in debt, and the things they are in debt for are non-necessities, rather than 'basic needs', a term subject to much abuse, especially when speaking about  being in debt. They do not understand the spiritual implications of debt, thinking that it is simply an amount of money to pay to another person, just as one pays money to the person who sells him food. This is indeed a manifestation of the heart of the problem of such Christians. They think that there is nothing wrong with being in debt, or make exceptions for indebtedness. Such is itself the manifestation them being under the spirit of mammon, to believe that one can serve both God and mammon, in their double-mindedness, in trying to serve two diametrically opposing masters: No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24). You may ask, how does

Usury is a Form of Murder

It has been rightly said that gossip is a form of murder. Gossip is a form of hate, and hate is murder according to the Word of God (Matthew 5:21; 1 John 3:15).  Likewise, usury is a form of hate, and is therefore a form of murder.  Murder need not involve blood shed (Matthew 5:21), although the shedding of innocent blood most definitely is murder (Proverbs 6:16-17). How does satan murder people? He murders people by his lies (John 8:44). He murdered Adam and Eve by convincing them to eat the fruit on the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, which God prohibited them to eat (See Genesis 3). He said to Eve when she hesitated to eat the fruit, "you shall not surely die" (Genesis 3:4), when they would most definitely die (Genesis 2:16-17), for their relationship with God was cut off (Genesis 3:22-23; Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 15:21).  Just the mere means of deceiving people into thinking that they need not serve God, and live for God, but live their own way, is itself murder.

Down the Rabbit Hole Part II: Heresy And Usury

Heresy, which simply defined as the rejection of an aspect of divinely revealed truth about a particular matter, has been a scourge of the Church since its founding. It assumes many different forms, and has new faces to propagate its views and new places where it spreads to. There are potentially as many heresies as there are men because heresy can tailor itself to whatever fancy it desires. However, all heresy share in common the sinful rejection of truth in exchange for a lie, which if taken far enough will lead to other errors and lies that will, in its worst form, culminate in apostasy.  Read the rest at: http://shoebat.com/2016/02/19/down-the-rabbit-hole-part-ii-heresy-and-usury/

Usury is an Abominable Perversion of Compassion

Usury is clearly prohibited by God both under the Old Covenant and under the New Covenant which we are now under. How do I know? First, the Old Testament makes it clear that usury is an abomination (Ezekiel 18:13). Ezekiel 18:12-13 lists usury as among several abominations: Hath oppressed the poor and needy, hath spoiled by violence, hath not restored the pledge, and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols, hath committed abomination, Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations ; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him. Whenever the Bible refers to something as an abomination, it is referring to something that God absolutely detests to the core because of what that act is . It is also to be noted that in Ezekiel 18:12-13 is a list of sins that were against the Moral Law of God, rather than ceremonial laws or civil laws. Usury is that which concerns the heart itself, and not outward act

Usury is Theft, End of Story

Usury, which is interest on a loan is theft as it is to charge from another what is not due to the lender. Only the amount of money loaned is due to the lender. Anything paid to the lender in excess of this amount is usury.  Usury was a sin, and still is a sin and forever will be sin. Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him (Ezekiel 18:13).

The Hypocrisy and Blasphemy of the Modern Western Church

It is ironic how many western Christians take no issue with referring to the Old Testament when speaking about not oppressing the orphans, widows and the poor (Exodus 22:22; Proverbs 14:31, 22:16, 22; Jeremiah 7:6; Zechariah 7:10; Micah 2), but take issue with referring to the Old Testament when speaking about usury (Ezekiel 18:13).  Such hypocrisy is really very very clear.  They are all too happy with referring to the Old Testament when talking about not oppressing orphans, widows and the poor. They use it extensively to justify their stance. Yet, when it comes to the issue of usury, they snarl up, and attack aggressively, all under a false guise of politeness and gentleness. They seem very deceptively gentle when making their rebuke of those who referring to the Old Testament verses about usury (Exodus 22:25; Leviticus 25:35-37; Deuteronomy 23:19-20; Ezekiel 18: 8, 13, 22:12, Psalm 15:5; Jeremiah 15:10; Proverbs 22:7; 28:8). However, their lips and manner of spirit are full of agg

What Does It Mean to be a Christian

To Truly Love God is to Lay up Treasures in Heaven for His Sake and His Sake Alone, Not for One's own sake at all

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Matthew 6:19-21). Jesus makes it very clear that where one's treasure is, there will be one's heart (Matthew 6:21). The statement " where your treasure is, there will your heart be also " is preceded by the word 'for'. This means that Matthew 6:21 is a conclusion which derives from the previous verses. In Matthew 6:19-20, Jesus is commanding people to lay up treasures in heaven,  instead of laying up treasures on earth. He explains why in Matthew 6:21, which says "for where you treasure is, there will your heart be also". This is not saying that a person who seek to gain for himself, whether it be earthly riches, or heavenly

Borrowing without Repaying is Sin, Without Exceptions

The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth (Psalm 37:21). The Bible makes it very clear that it is sin to borrow and not repay. Psalm 37:21 makes it clear: The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. You may argue that it is an Old Testament verse. That a verse is found in the Old Testament does not mean it does not apply today. This verse describes the heart of a wicked person. It says that wicked borrow and do not repay. What this means is that if one borrows money, and does not repay, one sins. It concerns the heart itself, and therefore, this requirement to repay all money that one borrows is part of the Moral Law of God, not the Old Testament civil or ceremonial law. To repay all of one's debts is binding to all people today. There is no such thing as an exception to sin, which makes it not sinful. For example, there is no exception to lying, or murder which renders such things to no

Why the Church should be Concerned about Usury

Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow (Isaiah 1:17). Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it (Psalm 34:14). And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them (Ephesians 5:11). Usury is a sin. It is not a "right", a "liberty" or a matter between two individuals who agree to a usurious deal. No, it is sin and must be called sin. The Church has a duty ordained by God to fight evil (Ephesians 5:11), seek justice (Isaiah 1:17) and do good (Psalm 34:14). She is to love one's neighbour as Jesus commanded: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself (Matthew 22:39; Mark 12:31; Luke 10:27).  Usury is the very antithesis of love, as all sin is. All sin the not merely the product of a lovelessness, but also lovelessness itself for love is the fulfillment of the Law of God (Romans 13:10). The Law is the expression of God's will and character, an expres

Usury is itself the Love of Mammon, and to tolerate it is itself to Serve Mammon

Many in the modern Church are rightly concerned about moral issues such as baby-murder (nicely called 'abortion'), euthanasia and homosexual marriage. However, they are ignorant about the issue of usury which the Bible condemns as an abomination (Ezekiel 18:13). Such ignorance is often justified on the basis that it is an Old Testament Law. While it is true that many Old Testament Laws no longer apply, the Moral Law still does. The prohibition of usury is part of the Moral Law as it concerns the heart itself. The act of usury in and of itself reveals a person's heart, and therefore of the Moral Law. For it concerns not only how one treats others, but one's attitude, mindset and heart regarding money. Usury is a profit made of the slavery to debt or mammon of another. It is the love of money in and of itself. Such is the heart of the usurer.  Those who think that usury is justified, which include many in the modern Church, think that because their hearts are set on m

Usury is Theft which uses Debt as an Excuse for Stealing

To many, usury seems like not only a foreign concept, but a fantastical one. They think that usury is a concept from another planet, and exists only in a fantasy world conjured only by the imagination. However, nothing can be further from the truth. Usury is far from being a fantastical imagination of the mind. It dominates the world financial markets, and is right in our midst. The New York Times reported on the 23 December 2015: Clifford Cain Jr., a retired electrician in Baltimore, was used to living on a tight budget, carefully apportioning his Social Security and pension benefits to cover his rent and medication for multiple sclerosis. So Mr. Cain was puzzled when he suddenly could not make ends meet. Months later, he discovered why: A debt collector had garnished his bank account after suing him for about $4,500 the company said he owed on an old debt. Mr. Cain said he never knew the lawsuit had been brought against him until the money was gone. Neither did oth
