A Vision from the Lord about Bondage owing to Marriage

The following is a vision that the Lord gave me on Thursday 25 April 2019 while I was taking a nap: I had a vision during dusk during my nap. I saw two images. The first image was of a man and a woman lovingly and freely embracing each other, lip-locked, and most significantly without a cord wrapped around them to bind them together. They were bound together in one flesh. The second image showed a man and a woman with a cord wrapped around them both to bind them together. Unlike in the first image, they were neither embracing each other at all, nor lip-locked. The expression on their faces was one of anger, bitterness, sadness, pain, frustration or upset - anything but joy and peace. Despite the cord wrapped around them both, they were still not bound together in one flesh. They were still separate from each other, despite being wedded to each other.  The Lord told me that most marriages are like that of the second image where the husband and wife are supposed to be one flesh b...

The spirit of Mammon enslaves by Stealing one's Joy, and Driving one to Seek Riches

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (1 Timothy 6:10) Those who seek to be rich will pierce themselves with many sorrows. Such sorrows will then lead to destruction. People who chase after riches do not chase after riches because they are happy. They chase after it because of their sorrow. Their sorrow drives them to chase after riches, leading to even more sorrows. They are sorrowful for having less than they want, less than they think is fair, or less than others. It is because of this sorrow that they are driven to seek riches, thinking it will make them happy and joyful. However, such a person is like a hamster on a wheel. He seeks riches out of sorrow, thinking it will give him satisfaction, only to find that it drowns him in more sorrow. So, as he seeks more riches, he drowns himself in more sorrow each time. The spirit of mammon uses sorrow to dri...

Why Seeking Money will Lead to Many Sorrows

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.  For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. (1 Timothy 6:9-11) The Word of God makes it clear that those who seek money will pierce themselves with many sorrows. The question is what does it mean to seek money, and why is it that doing so will lead to many sorrows.  To seek money is not to be equated with working, and working is not to be equated with seeking money. They are different and separate concepts which people often confound together. People often think that to say that one should not seek money is to say that one should not work. That is a serious misconception about what it mean...

False Teaching is Itself Spritual Abuse because it Hinders a Person from Fully Flourishing Before God

Abuse comes it all kinds of forms, and the most pernicious type of abuse is spiritual abuse. People who are being spiritually abused often do not realise it, precisely because it is spiritual abuse.  False teaching is itself spiritual abuse. It is spiritual abuse not only because it causes people to be led astray from the truth, leading to their destruction. Spiritual abuse is far more than that. Spiritual abuse, in being for the ultimate destruction of the person, destroys the humanity of a person. Abuse is not the mere lack of respect for a person, although a person who is abused will certainly be shown no respect towards. Destroying, diminishing, damaging, or distorting the humanity of a person is the essence of what abuse is. By abusing a person, one is treating him or her as one who is not created in the Image of God, or failing to treat him or her as being fully created in the Image of God. False teaching is of an extremely insidious and pernicious type of abuse. Part o...

Pacifism is Not True Peace, but Worldly Peace

There is much misconception about what true peace is by many in the professing Church. Many think that it is to not stir up trouble, fight or contend boldly and publicly with people who disagree with oneself. They think that Jesus was peaceful in that He would strongly rebuke, scold, or chastise. This is a serious misconception. Jesus pronounced seven woes to the scribes and Pharisees (Matthew 23:13-39). He told the paralysed man he healed, and the woman caught in adultery to sin no more without qualification in his command to stop sinning (John 5:14-15; 8:11). He did not only strongly rebuke the hypocritical Pharisees, but anyone who sinned. He cared not who it was. As long as someone sinned, he would rebuke them boldly, directly, openly without compromise. Jesus is kind, merciful and gentle, but by no means does this mean He is pacifist. If Jesus were a pacifist, He would not have overturned the tables of the usurers and merchants, and chased them out of the Temple of His Father:...

The Wise Life is the Blessed Life

Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding (Proverbs 3:13). The conventional view of a blessed life is one that is full of earthly temporal gifts, such as a well-respected profession, marriage and family. While such things may be gifts, they are merely temporal. What good are they if they do not make one to be rich in Christ, by making one serve Christ more faithfully, adding to one's heavenly riches? True riches, the only true riches, are heavenly riches which come only by serving Christ and loving Christ. The Bible says that the blessed life is one that is wise. Only by wisdom does one knows what direction one should live to please God to live a righteous life. To be blessed to be favoured by God because of living righteously before Him. Righteousness gives true joy and peace. The wise life is the blessed life. It is one characterised by constant learning, and understanding, leading to greater understanding and wisdom day by day. Having all the thing...

True Blessings are Spiritual, not Earthly or Material

Many in the modern Church in the west today think that blessings are material things. They praise God for giving them a car, house, money, a strong marriage, loving family, and children who are successful, thinking they are so 'blessed' because of these things. However, no where in the Bible does it refer to such temporal earthly things as blessings. It does not even say that a person whose basic earthly sustenance is met to be blessed, that is, one who has just enough food, water and clothing.  Rather, the Bible shows us that blessings are spiritual in nature, or ultimately to be used for spiritual purposes for the glory of God, and to enjoy God, and not for one to enjoy for oneself: “ Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord , And whose hope is the Lord . For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear [ a ] when heat comes ; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor...

Peace is Not the Absence of Conflict, But the Fighting Against Evil

They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace ( Jeremiah 6:14). The world loves to talk about peace. The secular world disdains those who oppose their false, vile, and abominable ideas about peace, which are that peace comes from tolerating deviancy, which it calls "lifestyle choice", 'equality', which is really just envy, and thus, a vain concept itself and "rights" which is a manifestation of pride and self-centred. All such ideas about peace are manifestation of selfish ambition, which the world thinks gives peace, because the world thinks out of its own folly and pride that only when one's selfish ambitions can one be satisfied.  Such is the wisdom of the world, especially the secular humanist world. The fruits of such evil, vile and worldly wisdom are disorder and every evil work as James 3:16 tells us:  For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work . Th...

The spirit of Mammon feeds on the Desire to Satisfy Selfish Ambition, Leading to Chaos and Conflict

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work (James 3:16).   We live in a world full of conflicts, full of conflicts about absolutely everything. The mindset behind all such conflicts is the belief in one's so-called "rights", whether it be a "right" to find a satisfying relationship, a "right" to make money, or a "right" to have money one lends returned to oneself. Such indeed is the root of all conflicts. It is this very belief which is all too appealing to the flesh that even people of the true Church, that is, the true followers of Christ can fall into such a vile, abominable mindset - all without realising it. The belief in one's "rights" is a manifestation of being a respecter of persons, including being of course, a respecter of oneself. Being a respecter of person leads not to harmony and peace, as the world thinks, but yet does not experience despite all its active striving for peace. Such...

True Righteousness and Holiness Renders Peace and Wickedness Renders Only Torment

With evil and wickedness, there comes no peace. Isaiah 48:22 makes this clear: There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked . The wicked have no peace with God for they are under the just wrath of God. The cause of their absence of peace is not their lack of support from their other wicked companions, or the guilt or shame their actions are associated with in their culture. Rather, the cause of their absence of peace is their wickedness, which incurs the just of wrath of God.  To experience peace, that is, peace in the true sense is to be reconciled to God, so that no one can condemn one: Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:33-34). Peace, in the true sense in not in any way to have earthly comfort, as so many in the modern western Church do, so that they bec...

Live as if you had nothing

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away (1 Corinthians 7:29-31). Seeking the peace and comfort of this world is itself to be earthly. It is of the love of the world. That is why the Christian must live as if he has nothing. To enjoy the peace and comfort of the world is itself to not trust God. It is because many Christians in the west do enjoy and peace and comfort of the world that God has allowed them to have that they cannot fully serve God. They treat God's earthly provision as their "right". It is not a right. It is grace alone. To treat it as as right is vile blasphemy and the height of all pride. They are under the spirit of mammon, having th...

Worldly sorrow comes from Seeking Worldly Peace

The world thinks that peace can be found by not being in conflict, or war with others. This is only partially true, and a very dangerous half-truth. While warring against others to seek one's own self-interests, such as financial resources, political power, or revenge is absolutely ungodly, warring to correct evil is not wrong, but righteous. Such as war is not one waged by the flesh, involving murdering humans, but by the Sword of the Word of God. Such war is an ideological one, seeking to attack false doctrines which opposed God: Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). The world thinks that peace comes from tolerating all ways of life, thinking and actions including evil ones. Such is the spirit of earthliness and worldliness working through the world. It thinks that peace comes when all people have liberty, rights and equality ...

Worldly peace thrives on envy and strife

The world's peace thrives on envy and strife. This is the complete opposite of true peace from God which is not present nor can be where there is envy and strife:  For where envying and strife  is , there  is  confusion and every evil work (James 3:16). Worldly peace is not God's peace but rather diametrically opposed to God's peace. Worldly peace comes from the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life (1 John 2:16). Worldly peace is what the world is blinded into thinking is peace by the spirit of mammon, who feeds on anxiety of the flesh, that which is anxious for earthly things. The spirit of mammon indeed works behind the whole world system of peace. Such peace not only is based on envy and strife, but feeds and thrives on envy and strife. Worldly peace is the knowledge that one is able to justify one's envy and strife against others.  Worldly peace is knowledge, based on truths about the world, just as godly peace is knowledge. Since worldl...

Preach offensively

Christian, we are not to make peace with the war. We are to war against its evil to rescue the people in the world from darkness. See: http://www.truthmagazine.com/your-preaching-is-offensive-to-me

Division through Hostility Opposes all Peace

Peace is a paradoxical concept. At one hand, Jesus said to His disciples that He gives peace as the world does not give (John 14:27). Yet, He said " Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword" (Matthew 10:34).  These two verses do not contradict. Not at all. The peace that Jesus gives is peace with God, which comes from being reconciled to Him, and no longer being hostile against God. Once a person is in Christ, he or she is united with God: Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.   What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.    But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:15-17). He is who is hostile against God has no peace. The opposite of peace is hostility. Hostility places a division between people from which no pe...
