Many in the modern western Church are extremely influenced by western liberal ideology, far more than they know it. Such influence is far greater on western Christians who are young, or who went to university during the late 1960's onwards than those who did not go to university, or those who are originally from Central or Eastern Europe. Many in the modern Church in the west are full of the fear of people. They are terrified of criticising anyone, except of course, those who point out that they are full of the fear of people, and expose this sinful fear of theirs to them. In particular, the modern Church in the west is absolutely terrified of exposing sins specific o women. And there are many such sins committed by women. The Crusades are often represented as brutal, vile murderers who sought to murder people. Nothing can be further from the truth. The modern Western Church is full of career missionaries. They are all around you. Chances are, you have encountered at least one such person. Chances are, you are one of them yourself.  To understand what a career missionary is, one must first understand what a true missionary for Jesus Christ is.   A true missionary for Jesus Christ is one who not only is genuine in one's motives for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is one who is unapologetic for it, and will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever seek to reduce or deny the power of it, which is the power of offense to save souls (Romans 1:16). Many followers of Christ in the west do not believe that studying the philosophy of false doctrines of the world is important. They think it is simply a colossal waste of time.  But is it really? The modern Western Church is so apathetic, lazy and weak in fighting evil. Why? Because of its comfort in its material riches, and also her fear of man. The modern west in the most mammonised society, as well as the most humanistic in the modern world. So, practicing true Christian conduct risks on of losing one's favour with those who feed one's belly. Owing to this attachment to material earthly riches, pleasure and comfort, and the increasing secular humanistic opposition which threatens this earthly comfort, many Christians in the west are not just fearful of man - they are full of the fear of man, as if the word and opinion of man mattered more than the Word of God. They think they do not compromise the Word of God, but they do in denying its power to save souls by trying to reduce the offensive power of it. Many in the modern western Church do not really understand what liberalism is. They may be able to identify the beliefs of people who ascribe to liberalism, and  undoubtedly be able to sense the spirit of liberalism. But what really is liberalism?  Liberalism is the ideology that all things are of man, by man, and for man. Man is at the centre of everything. This ideology would be properly called secular humanism.Liberalism is the most humanistic of all doctrines, and most demonic because it is the utter hatred of God by being self-centred, self-seeking and self-entitled.  Many worldviews, such as many religions, at least speak of not being self-centred and caring for others, although of course, they do not nor cannot provide the answers as to why one should love and care for others.
