Being against racial segregation does not mean that one believes in the humanistic conception of so-called "equality" which purports that people must be on the same level of various earthly measures, such as wealth, power, or education to be deemed to be treated in a way that is acceptable.
Being against racial segregation as a follower of Christ is to recognise that all human beings are created in the image of God, and therefore loved by God, who desires none to perish, and is compassionate to all. Opposing racial segregation and opposing feminism, liberalism, the homosexual movement and transgender movement are not contradictory, but in fact, consistent.
Genesis 1:27 says "so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." God created humankind in his own image, making them male and female. All human beings are endowed by with the dignity God, making it wrong to commit sins directed against them. No sin is more or less wrong when directed against some people, compared to another. The same sin directed against a person of one ethnicity is equally wrong when directed against another person of a different ethnicity.
Racial segregationists, in seeking to draw distinctions between people of different ethnicities based on ethnicities attack the very humanity of people of other ethnicities, by denying the humanity of people of other ethnicities. They may claim that sin against other ethnicities is wrong, but deep down inside in their hearts, they view sin directed towards people of other ethnicities are less wrong or more justifiable. That is itself to deny the God-given humanity of other people, on the basis of their ethnicity. This is because their thinking in separating people by ethnicity is itself to treat people as different owing to ethnicity, being indifferent towards injustices they face or the oppression they are subjected to.
Do not be mistaken, such people have a low view of people of ethnicities they consider inferior, and therefore a low view of God. In denying the full humanity of people of other ethnicities, they do not and cannot truly wholeheartedly preach the true Gospel of Jesus Christ in love, out of concern for their Salvation. This is evident in their extremely strong focus on non-essential, that is, non-salvific doctrines, usually to the point of fanatical obsession. Such people typically, if not always, neglect salvation doctrine, if they even mention them at all. Even when they do, it is simply stated casually by them, just so that they can look Christian in appearance when they are not.
Such people will inevitably deny what the Scriptures say that God wants all to to saved:
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
By 'all', the Bible, all human beings, regardless of ethnicity, culture, sex, age, political affiliation, professed religion, nationality, occupation and social status and socio-economic background.
Racism and racial segregation, which is simply racism attempted to be justified under whatever clean guise it is masqueraded under, have a demonic spirit behind them. Anyone who is a racist is under the demonic spirit of racism.
This evil spirit seeks to justify racial segregation and racism by the use of the Old Testament. Racial segregationists tend to be people who love to use the Old Testament to justify their evil and perverted stances on all kinds of issues, and are extremely ignorant and unable, especially in relation to what are essential and non-essential issues, and how the New Testament supersedes the Old Testament. For Hebrews 9:16-17 says:
For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
Despite their apparent righteousness, and even prophetic guise, as manifest by their audacity to boldly call out the wickedness of their culture or society, and are correct in doing so, they are full of their own wickedness and vile perversions.
In particular, they take pleasure in using Genesis 11 to justify racial segregation, when that is not what Genesis 11 is prescribing. Genesis 11 is simply a description of how God separated the people at Shinar, not because He wanted to separate people of different ethnicities, but to ensure that the generation of humanity who wanted to build the Tower of Babel would not reach the heavens to overthrow God's Sovereignty over the earth.
If racial segregation is prescribed by God, then why was it God's will for Moses, a Jew to marry a Cushite woman, or for Ruth, a Moabite, to marry a Boaz, who was a Jew? Even in the Old Testament, racial segregation is clearly not ordained by God. So, under the New Testament, it is all the more clear that it is not ordained by God or by His design as Galatians 3:28 indicates.
If racial segregation is prescribed by God under the New Testament, why was it God's will that Apostle Paul, a Jew be Apostle to the Gentiles (Ephesians 3:1)? Why then did God will it that Philip the Evangelist preach the Gospel to the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-40)? Why would God use Timothy, who was half-Jew and half-Greek, to do the work of an evangelist, and be a minister (2 Timothy 4:5), if racial segregation is what the Bible prescribes?
Do not be deceived. The false doctrine of racial segregation is a doctrine of demons, which seeks to deny the full humanity of all people, effectively implying that God does not desire people of certain ethnic groups to not be saved. It is an extremely dangerous and vile doctrine which must be exposed and strongly rebuked. It has no place in the true Church whatsoever.
