Run from Legalistic Teachers who are False Ravenous Wolves and Will Destroy You

Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers (Matthew 23:1-4).

Many people in the modern Church love to point out how legalistic the Pharisees in the Bible were. However, many people  do not realise that they themselves are like Pharisees, in imposing their own rules, views or expectations which are merely of their own human perspective, onto other brothers and sisters in Christ.

Their teachings are not merely unbiblical, but erroneous and extremely dangerous. This is because they will cause people to deviate  from doing the Will of God, hindered from flourishing in doing the Will of God, and be subject to spiritual bondage. It is absolutely critical for one to discern false teaching so that one will be able to do the Will of God.

False teachers themselves need to be discerned, so that one will not be deceived.

False teachers are not empowered by the Holy Spirit when they deliver their teachings, but rely on their own human perspective. This manifests in the use of logic and often, the  hatred of spiritual revelation. They feel very uncomfortable with the idea of spiritual revelation and prophecy very frightening because it reveals to them their humanistic approach in seeking to understand the Bible based on their own thinking, as opposed to be led by the Spirit. Their teachings are often very academic, and focused only on how to interpret the Bible, as opposed to being focused on how people can seek the will of God and put into practice Jesus' commands.

False teachers are not concerned about the spiritual growth of those they teach at all. They are only concerned with their own power, and their own agenda. They love to control others, as manifested by their demand that people who listen to their teaching submit to them, rather than to Jesus. They became very angry when people challenge them, or their agenda, assuming that they are always correct. Anyone who challenges their agenda is labelled wicked, simply because they challenge them and point out that they are wrong.

False teachers have an agenda that is ultimately about glorifying or advancing themselves and their own self-interest. Everything they teach is ultimately to advance their agenda. This manifests in their evil scheming in twisting Bible verses which are easy to twist, for their own agenda. Owing to their often academic or intellectual approach to teaching, they appear very advanced in their Bible knowledge, but they are fools. One key sign of such teachers is their love of using the Old Testament, especially Abrahamic theology to justify their own man-made teachings. They also use manipulate their wisdom literature to justify their own false teachings.

False teachers are unstable and ignorant people. 2 Peter 3:16 writes about such people "As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction." Unstable and ignorant people are not necessarily those who are less academic or educated. They are often those who study the Scriptures themselves, and think of themselves as so knowledgeable, just because they have read the Scriptures. They denigrate those who they perceive as inferior or less knowledgeable than them, especially those who are young, less powerful, or less academic or intellectual than they are.

False teachers are full of arrogance. They think that they are the ultimate authority, rather than God. They may claim they affirm that God is the ultimate authority, but that is a lie on their part.

False teachers do not teach about Jesus. When they mention Jesus, they simply attach Jesus' name to their teaching, but not teach His Word. They may teach about important topics in the Bible, like on marriage, family, or even ministry, but they do not preach Christ Himself. Anyone who is truly anointed by God to the offices of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher will preach the teachings of Jesus, and emphasise what He emphasised, teach what he teach, and not teach what he did not teach.

Ephesians 4:11-14 says:

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.

A person truly called to these offices will increase knowledge of Jesus and His Teaching in the Church. Anyone who fails to do so has either no anointing and is false apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher, or has the anointing but failed to carry it out in the way God has willed.

Their teachings will cause people to be subject to spiritual bondage as they impose burdens on people but do nothing to lift it. This simply shows that they do not care about the spiritual welfare of those they teach, and simply seek to manipulate and control them for their own self-interests. False teachers are evil diabolical people.

Their false teachings will destroy you. and you will end in Hell because of their teachings. Do not ever allow anyone to lead you to damnation because you were too weak to stand against false teachers.

Run from these false teachers. They will hinder your from doing the Will of God.

Repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ.

Signs of a Person under the spirit of mammon

Both the unsaved and saved can be under the spirit of mammon. Do not be deceived! An unsaved person can only serve mammon because it is not part of his nature to submit to God in any way (Romans 8:7). However, the Christian can most definitely yield to the temptations of mammon just as he can yield to the temptations of satan. This is what is means for a Christian to be under the spirit of mammon. The signs of a person being under the spirit of mammon are: The person does not understand the spirit of mammon. This is because he or she is blinded by it and therefore cannot see it. The person reacts whenever being confronted with being told that they are under the spirit of mammon, or being told that they may be under it. This is not the person themselves reacting, but the spirit of mammon reacting. The person is self-satisfied with the abundance that they have. This is especially the case with many Christians today. They are happy with having a family, a well-paying job, security

Two types of contentment

The world seeks contentment. It seeks to be contented in pursuit of all kinds of things, whether it be money, health, wealth, romance, sex, careers or family. It does not necessarily seek after riches to be content. However, that one does not seek after money as the first priority, but other things that are typically associated with good traditional values, such as family, does not in any way mean that one is content in the godly sense. By no means! A person can be a "conservative" and "religious" but just as earthly as the "liberal". There are two types of contentment: earthly contentment and godly contentment. Earthly contentment finds its fulfillment and satisfaction in things that are passing away, not necessarily money, but also things like family, education and children. Yes, that's right. Many professing American Christians think that they could never be under the spirit of mammon because they care for their families and love their families, a

The spirit behind Debt, the spirit of Mammon, seeks to Blind, Control, Enslave and Dominate by debt

Many people just cannot understand what usury is for what it is. Thus, in order for people to understand what exactly usury is, they must be made to understand debt first. Debt is not merely money to be repaid. It has power. Debt indeed is power, which comes from a source not from God: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).  One can discern that debt has a power behind it if one uses one's godly discernment. Debt brings spiritual bondage to a person, not merely financial bondage, but spiritual bondage. The real issue with debt for all people whether unsaved or saved is that it keeps people from fully serving God. It is a spiritual stronghold of mammon that panders to the flesh, to make a God-hater even more hostile against God, by feeding on his flesh to increase its appetite even more. It is also a spiritual stronghold
