Fighting for 'fairness' but not justice is of the spirit of bitter envy and self-seeking

The world seeks to fight for fairness, according it its own 'perspective', another name for self-seeking, selfish interests. Even many in the modern (21st century) Church whinge like a little child about 'unfairness' whenever a person of the Church makes some general statements critiques about it, simply because a particular individual may not agree with it. Such is the naturalness of humans.

Many unsaved people are perfectly happy to fight what they as individuals perceive to be unfair, of course, to them or those they care for, that is, their own.  However, they never can fight for true justice for they are not walking in righteousness. Those who do not seek God cannot understand justice: Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand it completely (Proverbs 28:5). Thus, whenever an unbeliever is seeking to fight evil, he or she is not seeking for true justice at all whatsoever. It doesn't matter that she is seeking to "fight evil", for how can she fight evil is she is evil herself? This is the case of all unsaved people seeking to "fight evil"; a thing none of them can do for they are under the power of darkness and evil themselves.

1 John 5:19 makes it clear that the whole world is under the power of evil: And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. The world is taken captive to do the will of satan (2 Timothy 2:26). They are in bondage to do his will. The bondage is not an economic, cultural, social or political one - it is a spiritual one. This is crucial for the Christian to understand in order to help them be set free from the bondage to sin, which comes from the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The unsaved fight evil (an oxymoron), such as human trafficking, prostitution and pornography not out of love, but rather, out of bitter envy and self-seeking. How can one know? The Bible says that the wisdom of the world comes from bitter envy and self-seeking:

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work (James 3:14-16).

The unsaved 'fight evil' out of self-preservation or self-righteousness. This is the spirit in which the unsaved 'fight evil', or rather produce more evil from the evil they are doing in 'fighting evil'. All the efforts of the unsaved to 'fight evil' are really just evil abominations in the eyes of God (Isaiah 64:6).

A person fights evil either out of bitter envy and self-seeking (James 3:14-16), or out of love which manifests as wisdom that is "peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy" (James 3:17). Do not be deceived, there is no middle ground as to the spirit in which one fights evil. None! A person fights evil out of either of worldly wisdom or godly wisdom as James 3:13-18 makes it very clear.

The spirit of mammon feeds on the desire of the unsaved to 'fight evil' in their bitter envying and self-seeking. The manifestation of this the worry and anxiety the unsaved feel about the 'evil' which they feel only a mere personal concern towards, out for their own selfish self-preservation.

Many Christians are also only seeking to fight only certain evils out their own selfish self-preservation. This is because many in the modern Church are under the spirit of mammon, which blinds them into thinking it is legitimate to not disregard earthly things or root out all earthliness from their lives.

One might argue that a Christian cannot be under the spirit of mammon. Such is the foolish naivete of many Christians! How foolish can one be to think that one cannot be influenced by a demonic spirit, which is what is means to be 'under the spirit of a demonic spirit', when one is saved? This is exactly what satan seeks to do in seeking to snatch away the true heirs of the Kingdom of God. Since the true Christian cannot be snatched away from God's great and mighty love, satan then seeks to make the Christian less useful through deception. This is what Parable of the Heirs in Matthew 21:33-44  explains.

Like many unsaved people, many Christians are seeking to combat human trafficking, pornography and prostitution, only on consequential grounds or out of feeling 'offended' at how 'unfair' the evil is. Such self-preservation and human-centred sympathy. Fighting evil only because it is 'unfair', rather than because it offends God is all vanity.

If you want to 'fight evil' only because you are 'offended' by it personally, just because it "hurts" you, or think it is 'unfair' to people you selfishly love, you should stop 'fighting evil'. Your "good works" are an abomination of God for the 'good works' of the unrighteous are filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6).

Forget about even thinking to fight evil if it is out of your own fleshly, carnal desires, which manifests in thinking that it is 'unfair' to those you (selfishly) love or 'offensive'. You need to repent of your earthliness, which has made you become under the spirit of mammon who works through you out of your bitter envy and self-seeking. Such is the case of many mammonised true Christians who seek to fight evil only by using earthly fleshly means, and marginalising or neglecting the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ .

The heart of the matter of all evils is the matter of the heart. Only by the power of Gospel of Jesus Christian can all those trapped in sin be set free. This is the only true wisdom that is to be used in fighting any evil, and the true way. Any other way is futile, meaningless and leads to only more evil.

Signs of a Person under the spirit of mammon

Both the unsaved and saved can be under the spirit of mammon. Do not be deceived! An unsaved person can only serve mammon because it is not part of his nature to submit to God in any way (Romans 8:7). However, the Christian can most definitely yield to the temptations of mammon just as he can yield to the temptations of satan. This is what is means for a Christian to be under the spirit of mammon. The signs of a person being under the spirit of mammon are: The person does not understand the spirit of mammon. This is because he or she is blinded by it and therefore cannot see it. The person reacts whenever being confronted with being told that they are under the spirit of mammon, or being told that they may be under it. This is not the person themselves reacting, but the spirit of mammon reacting. The person is self-satisfied with the abundance that they have. This is especially the case with many Christians today. They are happy with having a family, a well-paying job, security

Two types of contentment

The world seeks contentment. It seeks to be contented in pursuit of all kinds of things, whether it be money, health, wealth, romance, sex, careers or family. It does not necessarily seek after riches to be content. However, that one does not seek after money as the first priority, but other things that are typically associated with good traditional values, such as family, does not in any way mean that one is content in the godly sense. By no means! A person can be a "conservative" and "religious" but just as earthly as the "liberal". There are two types of contentment: earthly contentment and godly contentment. Earthly contentment finds its fulfillment and satisfaction in things that are passing away, not necessarily money, but also things like family, education and children. Yes, that's right. Many professing American Christians think that they could never be under the spirit of mammon because they care for their families and love their families, a

The spirit behind Debt, the spirit of Mammon, seeks to Blind, Control, Enslave and Dominate by debt

Many people just cannot understand what usury is for what it is. Thus, in order for people to understand what exactly usury is, they must be made to understand debt first. Debt is not merely money to be repaid. It has power. Debt indeed is power, which comes from a source not from God: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).  One can discern that debt has a power behind it if one uses one's godly discernment. Debt brings spiritual bondage to a person, not merely financial bondage, but spiritual bondage. The real issue with debt for all people whether unsaved or saved is that it keeps people from fully serving God. It is a spiritual stronghold of mammon that panders to the flesh, to make a God-hater even more hostile against God, by feeding on his flesh to increase its appetite even more. It is also a spiritual stronghold
