The Rise of so-called “christian” Erotica is the Beginning of the Great Apostasy and those who Embrace it are Tragically Deluded, Unstable and Ignorant

We live in treacherous times and dark days, and such times are made more obvious by the rise of so-called “christian” erotica. As shocking as this may sound, it is becoming increasingly normalised and justified, all by the use of Scripture among professing Christians. Those who oppose “christian” erotica, which is really just a euphemism for pornography, on Scriptural grounds, are not only accused by professing Christians who support “christian” erotica as legalistic, pharisaic, righteous, narrow-minded, or holier-than-thou, but perverted, exhibiting a false sense of godliness and oppressive.   The rise of “christian” erotica is far more dangerous and of far greater significance than the obvious reason that erotica is perverse and that Scriptures are being twisted to justify such perversion. It is a symptom of a greater problem which is not merely the idolatry of sex, or even the utter lack of the fear of God. It is the perversion of the Christian faith itself through the wor...

The Tyranny of the Heretical Evangelical Cult of ‘Marriage and Family’

The evangelical church is always talking about marriage and family, constantly berating people who are still not married by a certain age for not having managed to marry by that age. It is constantly cajoling them to get married.    Anyone who is not married past a certain age is seen as selfish, ungodly, unholy, unrighteous, and even, in some cases, is assumed to be a homosexual, a fornicator, a pornography addict or a masturbation addict, just by virtue of being single. Apart from the fact that these are offensively crass assumptions about all singles, including single Christians, the fact that such assumptions are being made is the symptom of a more serious problem, which is that of the idolatry of marriage and family. The vicious lies that are constantly told about singles in the Church are only the surface of the tyrannical evangelical cult of marriage and family. Marriage and family are now the idols of the modern ev...

The spirit of Mammon enslaves by Stealing one's Joy, and Driving one to Seek Riches

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (1 Timothy 6:10) Those who seek to be rich will pierce themselves with many sorrows. Such sorrows will then lead to destruction. People who chase after riches do not chase after riches because they are happy. They chase after it because of their sorrow. Their sorrow drives them to chase after riches, leading to even more sorrows. They are sorrowful for having less than they want, less than they think is fair, or less than others. It is because of this sorrow that they are driven to seek riches, thinking it will make them happy and joyful. However, such a person is like a hamster on a wheel. He seeks riches out of sorrow, thinking it will give him satisfaction, only to find that it drowns him in more sorrow. So, as he seeks more riches, he drowns himself in more sorrow each time. The spirit of mammon uses sorrow to dri...

Why the spirit of Mammon and the Prosperity "gospel" is Far More Dangerous and Perverse than You think

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. (2 Peter 2:1-3)  There are many prosperity teachers who have arisen today. They are all around us and are destroying many, leading them to Hell. Many genuine Church teachers, preachers and pastors, while acknowledging their wickedness, simply dismiss them and do nothing to counter them. However, this is not a sufficient or adequate response. For these false teachers who preach the prosperity "gospel", in either its more obvious or subtle form, are extremely dangerous....

Earthly Happiness is False Joy and Nothing but an Illusion

Many people love to boast about the things that they have which everyone seeks after but do not have, whatever it may be. They boast and their boasting makes people feel uncomfortable, upset or envious. The reason people feel that way is because people not only seek after earthly happiness.  Earthly happiness is that which people find security. People derive their earthly happiness from not only the earthly temporal things they have, but also their security. That is why people feel uncomfortable, upset or covetous when seeing others also have what they have and find their security in. The earthly happiness people have is not true joy. The nature of joy is that it is supernatural. It is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). Since joy is a fruit of the spirit, it does not and cannot come from the flesh. For as the Scriptures say: For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.   For to be c...

Why Seeking Money will Lead to Many Sorrows

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.  For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. (1 Timothy 6:9-11) The Word of God makes it clear that those who seek money will pierce themselves with many sorrows. The question is what does it mean to seek money, and why is it that doing so will lead to many sorrows.  To seek money is not to be equated with working, and working is not to be equated with seeking money. They are different and separate concepts which people often confound together. People often think that to say that one should not seek money is to say that one should not work. That is a serious misconception about what it mean...
