The Desire for Independence and Empowerment is of the spirit of Witchcraft

Western culture values independence and empowerment. It loves to talk about independence and empowerment. TV is full of shows, trash vile gossip shows hosted by vile, disgusting, abominable, evil women whose mouths spew with garbage about how the modern woman, who is nothing but a vile piece of abominable filthy trash  fit only for the garbage can be 'independent' and 'empowered'. Anything that even resembles a "threat" to such 'independence' and 'empowerment' is not only hated, it is scorned, and militantly fought against. Such is western culture.

The desire for independence comes from the fleshly desires to not only seek what one wants, but to seek what one may genuinely need in one's own way. To seek one's genuine legitimate needs in one's own ways is itself to be independent of God. As long as one is even desires to do anything in any way by one's own strength, even to the slightest, one is acting to be independent: For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would (Galatians 5:17). To be truly set free from independence is to fully rely on God, being totally and utterly lead by the Spirit.

Independence is the manifestation of pride, selfishness and the contempt against God and others. It is to not only to be full of covetousness, but to be a coveter, who is an idolator.  Independence from others is itself to reject God's order for humanity to love each other, care for each other and to give what we have to others.

When God created the world, He intended that we as humans would enjoy a relationship with Him, and rely on Him, and enjoy fellowship with all of human kind and rely on the earth for its resources (See Genesis 1-3). When Adam and Eve sinned, man would have to work by the sweat of thy brow, and no longer rely on God, as an indictment of fallen humankind (Genesis 3:17-19). Woman would experience birthpains as an indictment of her perversion of the childbirth given to her and would be ruled over by her husband (Genesis 3:16), as an indictment for her desire to be independent from God and lead man into sin. Her desire to be independent of God is shown in Genesis 3:6:

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

It was by the desire itself to be independent of God that caused the whole of humankind to be separated from God as a result of sin. While the Bible attributes the responsibility of original sin to Adam  (Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 15:21), it was Eve who sinned first and lead Adam into sin. Eve's desire to be independent of God was the cause of the fall of humankind, which lead Adam and herself into sin.

Eve sought to be her "goddess" in desiring to be wise, seeking knowledge outside of God. This very desire to seek knowledge in one's own way is itself of the spirit of witchcraft. Witchcraft need not involve domineering behaviour. As long as one is seeking to influence others to be independent and deny and reject God's commands, and to seek their own ways, one is practicing witchcraft. This is indeed the case with many married couples, in which the woman seeks to influence her husband to not take his responsibility as the head of the household (Ephesians 5:23). She seeks to take his position and uses very subtle and deceptive techniques to psychologically intimidate him from taking his responsibility as the head,  and from resisting her usurping of his authority over her and the family. She uses his responsibility to love her (Ephesians 5:25) as a tool for manipulation, rendering him unable to serve God and submit to Christ.  That itself is witchcraft in and of itself, which can all be done in under a false guise of "niceness" or "gentleness", or even "submissiveness".

Such a wife is a vile, disgusting, abominable, evil, wicked witch. That is exactly why there are so many problems in western families, including in Christian western families. The cause of the problem in the west is the wife being proud, unsubmissive, manipulative, deceptive, spiritually adulterous, evil, vile, covetous, self-centred and just utterly perverse in seeking to pervert God's design for marriage. End of story. While it may be true that the husband might have not truly love his wife and submit to Christ as he should, this is still not an excuse, not now, not ever an excuse to rebel against God in rejecting  His order for marriage.

The desire for independence feeds the desire for empowerment. Empowerment is the desire to seek control to obtain what one want. This desire for control, is not only a manifestation of failure to trust in God to provide one's needs, which is a manifestation of the spirit of mammon. This desire seeks to manipulate, intimidate and dominate others, into seeking one's own way. Modern psychology is the epitome of such manipulation, intimidation and domination. It uses lies, which feed on the desires and allures of the human heart to control people by manipulating people into believing lies so that one can advance one's own way. When people are not manipulated into believing such lies, one then seeks to intimidate. The political establishment in the modern west does this by regarding those who do not support the liberal ideas, such as homosexual marriage and feminism, by calling them "bigots", "sexists", "racists" and "intolerant". Once intimidation is achieved, the person who seeks to manipulate can then dominate by totally controlling the thinking of the individuals, such that they trust them psychologically. The media is the greatest form of witchcraft today. Academia is also of the spirit of witchcraft in manipulating people to advance a political and social agenda.

Those under the spirit of witchcraft, like all those homosexual and feminist activists are only satisfied when they have dominated over others, not merely because they are seek their own gain, but because they take pleasure and satisfaction in such domination. They think that such domination is legitimate because they think that it is a means of seeking their needs, as they are under the spirit of witchcraft, who seduces people into seeking to get their own needs in whatever way they want.

She blinds such people into thinking that without such control, they are being oppressed by others when others do not help them get their wants met. This is why such people are so sensitive to their own self-interests being hindered, to the extent they think that whenever a person does not help him or her obtain his own self-interests, that person is being oppressive and unjust. As such, these people think that the need to be "empowered", to be able to do whatever they want in however way they want to be 'liberated'. This precisely how the spirit of mammon and witchcraft work together.

The spirit of mammon feeds on anxiety for one's needs to be met. The spirit of witchcraft feeds on the desire to be seek such needs independently of God and others which is in itself as sin. She manipulates people by lies into thinking their they must seek their need independently and that not being able to do so amounts to "oppression" and "injustice". This produces people who know nothing, but to continually whinge when they do not get their way, and complain about injustice and oppression when they do not have what others have. Such people are not innocent, simple people. They are vile, manipulative, evil abominations.

Signs of a Person under the spirit of mammon

Both the unsaved and saved can be under the spirit of mammon. Do not be deceived! An unsaved person can only serve mammon because it is not part of his nature to submit to God in any way (Romans 8:7). However, the Christian can most definitely yield to the temptations of mammon just as he can yield to the temptations of satan. This is what is means for a Christian to be under the spirit of mammon. The signs of a person being under the spirit of mammon are: The person does not understand the spirit of mammon. This is because he or she is blinded by it and therefore cannot see it. The person reacts whenever being confronted with being told that they are under the spirit of mammon, or being told that they may be under it. This is not the person themselves reacting, but the spirit of mammon reacting. The person is self-satisfied with the abundance that they have. This is especially the case with many Christians today. They are happy with having a family, a well-paying job, security

Two types of contentment

The world seeks contentment. It seeks to be contented in pursuit of all kinds of things, whether it be money, health, wealth, romance, sex, careers or family. It does not necessarily seek after riches to be content. However, that one does not seek after money as the first priority, but other things that are typically associated with good traditional values, such as family, does not in any way mean that one is content in the godly sense. By no means! A person can be a "conservative" and "religious" but just as earthly as the "liberal". There are two types of contentment: earthly contentment and godly contentment. Earthly contentment finds its fulfillment and satisfaction in things that are passing away, not necessarily money, but also things like family, education and children. Yes, that's right. Many professing American Christians think that they could never be under the spirit of mammon because they care for their families and love their families, a

The spirit behind Debt, the spirit of Mammon, seeks to Blind, Control, Enslave and Dominate by debt

Many people just cannot understand what usury is for what it is. Thus, in order for people to understand what exactly usury is, they must be made to understand debt first. Debt is not merely money to be repaid. It has power. Debt indeed is power, which comes from a source not from God: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).  One can discern that debt has a power behind it if one uses one's godly discernment. Debt brings spiritual bondage to a person, not merely financial bondage, but spiritual bondage. The real issue with debt for all people whether unsaved or saved is that it keeps people from fully serving God. It is a spiritual stronghold of mammon that panders to the flesh, to make a God-hater even more hostile against God, by feeding on his flesh to increase its appetite even more. It is also a spiritual stronghold
