The Tension between Borrowers and Savers are the Fruit of the Evils of Usury and Capitalism

From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not (James 4:1-2).

We live in a world full of conflicts, wars, tension and fighting. The world asks, how to solve all these conflicts, all while accommodating for the self-interest of all parties, by preaching that people should simply negotiate. Negotiation as practiced by the world is full of immoral, unethical deals, where people and nations are willing to not kill a person they already hate, which is already murder in the heart (1 John 3:15), just because of money. However, the spiritually mature follower of Christ knows that none of these conflicts can be solved in any way, nor that it is even about 'solving' conflicts. Rather, he asks, what is in the heart of a man that causes him to fight. James 4:1-2 poses and answers this question:

From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not (James 4:1-2).

It is very clear in the Bible that fighting and wars are manifestation of the lust of the flesh. Plain and simply. In seeking to satisfy one's flesh which not only lusts, kills and desires, but loves to lust, kill and desire, one fights and wars against others.

The world's system of finance and banking is a one such system that feeds on the lust, murders and desires of the flesh. That many in the modern Church in the west think that it is ethical, moral or even Biblical(!!!!!!!!) is beyond mind-blowing in both its irrationality, naivety, and stupidity.

The modern banking system runs on debt, feeds on debt, produces debt, and creates more debt all to create more debt, from which the bank creates, of course, usury. It lends money to borrowers charging usury, while it gives savers usury. As such, it is virtually impossible in the modern western world to not receive usury as long as one has a bank account. For this is just how modern banking system works and there is nothing an individual can do.The only way to not receive usury would be to store money in one's own home, hidden in an obscure place. In receiving usury, savers are in conflict with the borrowers, as a result of the modern banking practice. They are placed in such a position, often not of their own accord, but rather because they themselves in trapped into such a position by the whole banking system.

This conflict between savers and borrowers is in and of itself the manifestation of usury, and capitalism, which is the ultimate epitome of usury. It is a rotten fruit of usury and capitalism, among other rotten fruits. It is manifestation of a system, a worldly earthly system, which feeds on seeking to satisfy one's lust for one's own earthly security, murder of those who compete with oneself in seeking such earthly security, and the desire to satisfy such lusts (1 John 2:16). Such is the love of money not only leads to all kinds of evil, but is the root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10).

Usury is now justified by the world on the basis of inflation. While it is true that 'interest' charged to purely compensate for inflation on a sum of money is not usury in the true sense, that this need for compensation even needs to occur is itself a manifestation of a fallen world, which thinks usury to be justifiable in the first place. Inflation would not occur without usury being permitted in the first place, or excessive debt which cannot be repaid.

Usury is the curse of the modern world. The modern world deserves what it is now facing: the curse of usury and debt which cannot be repaid.

Signs of a Person under the spirit of mammon

Both the unsaved and saved can be under the spirit of mammon. Do not be deceived! An unsaved person can only serve mammon because it is not part of his nature to submit to God in any way (Romans 8:7). However, the Christian can most definitely yield to the temptations of mammon just as he can yield to the temptations of satan. This is what is means for a Christian to be under the spirit of mammon. The signs of a person being under the spirit of mammon are: The person does not understand the spirit of mammon. This is because he or she is blinded by it and therefore cannot see it. The person reacts whenever being confronted with being told that they are under the spirit of mammon, or being told that they may be under it. This is not the person themselves reacting, but the spirit of mammon reacting. The person is self-satisfied with the abundance that they have. This is especially the case with many Christians today. They are happy with having a family, a well-paying job, security

Two types of contentment

The world seeks contentment. It seeks to be contented in pursuit of all kinds of things, whether it be money, health, wealth, romance, sex, careers or family. It does not necessarily seek after riches to be content. However, that one does not seek after money as the first priority, but other things that are typically associated with good traditional values, such as family, does not in any way mean that one is content in the godly sense. By no means! A person can be a "conservative" and "religious" but just as earthly as the "liberal". There are two types of contentment: earthly contentment and godly contentment. Earthly contentment finds its fulfillment and satisfaction in things that are passing away, not necessarily money, but also things like family, education and children. Yes, that's right. Many professing American Christians think that they could never be under the spirit of mammon because they care for their families and love their families, a

The spirit behind Debt, the spirit of Mammon, seeks to Blind, Control, Enslave and Dominate by debt

Many people just cannot understand what usury is for what it is. Thus, in order for people to understand what exactly usury is, they must be made to understand debt first. Debt is not merely money to be repaid. It has power. Debt indeed is power, which comes from a source not from God: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).  One can discern that debt has a power behind it if one uses one's godly discernment. Debt brings spiritual bondage to a person, not merely financial bondage, but spiritual bondage. The real issue with debt for all people whether unsaved or saved is that it keeps people from fully serving God. It is a spiritual stronghold of mammon that panders to the flesh, to make a God-hater even more hostile against God, by feeding on his flesh to increase its appetite even more. It is also a spiritual stronghold
