The Humanism that Has Spread into the Modern Church has Desecrated the Temple of the Living God, the true Church of Jesus Christ

Thus says the Lord:
“Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.

(Jeremiah 17:5).

We who live in the modern age live in a sea of humanism. Humanism is all around us. All justifications for evil are based on humanistic doctrines. All condemnations of evil are based on humanistic doctrines. All the ways which people propose will deal with the social ills are based on humanistic doctrines. Many local church ministries, which seek to help the needy and the poor are heavily influenced by humanistic doctrines, that except from their profession of Christ, they cannot be distinguished from secular humanitarian or non-government so-call "charities".

Much of the modern Church in the west has been influenced by false humanistic doctrines, which feed on the hearts of many and which cause them to harden their hearts against many teachings, including the doctrine of submission to government (Romans 13:1-7), wives' submission to husbands (Ephesians 5:22-24), the doctrine of Hell (See Revelation 20), usury (Exodus 22:25; Leviticus 25:36; Deuteronomy 23:19-20; Luke 6:34-38), and of course, that one cannot serve both God and mammon (Matthew 6:24).

All the hostility that people, whether it be people of the world, or people of the Church of Jesus Christ towards either the Whole Bible or certain teachings of it are all the manifestation of rebellion and unsubmission towards God. That is what it is and there is no exception. It is their own rebellion, such that one need not accommodate or pander to the carnal 'sensitivities', that is, their rebellion, for their upset or offence towards true Biblical teaching. Pandering or accommodating for such people is not only itself the vile sinful fear of man. It is itself to compromise with the unrighteous. Proverbs 25:26 makes it clear:

A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring (KJV).

Like a muddied spring or a polluted well are the righteous who give way to the wicked (NIV).

Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked (ESV).

What Proverbs 25:26 describes are the righteousness who cave into, or allow themselves to be corrupted by evil. To even think about conforming with the world's fleshly thinking is itself to fall before the wicked. You may say that you seek to fight evil alongside unsaved secular people, who use humanistic ways of dealing with the evil or with the social ill. Well, it is irrelevant that you seek to fight evil, as long as you continue to adopt or conform to the humanistic thinking of the world in doing so. That is exactly what you are doing by cooperating with unsaved secular people in fighting evils, such as prostitution or pornography. The Bible warns us about not becoming unequally yoked with the unsaved. Why? Because as long as one becomes unequally yoked in the unsaved, joining in their works of evil, adopting or conforming to their ways, including their very thinking, one corrupts oneself with evil:

14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you[b] are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”[c]
17 Therefore
“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”[d]
18 “I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”[e]

(2 Corinthians 6:14-18).

By being unequally yoked with unbelievers, one desecrates the temple of the living God, that is, the saint himself, by even adopting the thinking of the world, even to the slightest bit, but refusing the full counsel of God in fighting evil and fighting evil, in accordance to His ways in the way He demands. That is why it says in the Bible:

17 Therefore
“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
(2 Corinthians 6:17).

The humanism which has spread into the modern Church is manifested by the fear of man of many in the modern Church. Humanism fears man rather than God because it has a high view of man and a low view of God. That is simply natural to the flesh, and rears its ugly head in many in the modern Church. Even though a person may be saved, he may and does still fall into sin. Humanistic thinking and the fear of man is one of them, manifesting how certain doctrines in the Bible is not just unacceptable, but hated in the modern Church in the west, yes the Church.

Tell a woman in the modern western Church, that is, a true Christian, that she must submit to her husband because Ephesians 5:22-24 says so, and she will turn into an animal, an angry killer bull who cannot be restrained except for by being shot to death.

Tell a Christian in the west that by being in debt, he will not be able to serve God fully, but instead end up serving mammon, and he will froth at the mouth, and seek to torture and crucify you, and wish you death.

Tell a Christian in the west that usury is a sin, and he will ridicule you, hate you and mock you, reject you, slandering you and those who support you behind your back.

Tell a Christian in the west that God hates divorce and she will froth at the mouth, hate you, despise you and seek to make it known to all that you are a dangerous heretical person.

As much as it is easy to simply criticise such people and dismiss them as unstable and ignorant people who twist the Scriptures to their own destruction (2 Peter 3:16), which they are, this must be seen as the manifestation of humanistic thinking that spreads through the Church and has hardened the hearts of many in the Church.

That is why humanism is so dangerous, a leaven to the lump, which even the slightest is enough to leaven the whole lump. Humanism is a doctrine of demons. It must be eradicated, rooted out from the Church and burned.

To Hell with humanism!

Signs of a Person under the spirit of mammon

Both the unsaved and saved can be under the spirit of mammon. Do not be deceived! An unsaved person can only serve mammon because it is not part of his nature to submit to God in any way (Romans 8:7). However, the Christian can most definitely yield to the temptations of mammon just as he can yield to the temptations of satan. This is what is means for a Christian to be under the spirit of mammon. The signs of a person being under the spirit of mammon are: The person does not understand the spirit of mammon. This is because he or she is blinded by it and therefore cannot see it. The person reacts whenever being confronted with being told that they are under the spirit of mammon, or being told that they may be under it. This is not the person themselves reacting, but the spirit of mammon reacting. The person is self-satisfied with the abundance that they have. This is especially the case with many Christians today. They are happy with having a family, a well-paying job, security

Two types of contentment

The world seeks contentment. It seeks to be contented in pursuit of all kinds of things, whether it be money, health, wealth, romance, sex, careers or family. It does not necessarily seek after riches to be content. However, that one does not seek after money as the first priority, but other things that are typically associated with good traditional values, such as family, does not in any way mean that one is content in the godly sense. By no means! A person can be a "conservative" and "religious" but just as earthly as the "liberal". There are two types of contentment: earthly contentment and godly contentment. Earthly contentment finds its fulfillment and satisfaction in things that are passing away, not necessarily money, but also things like family, education and children. Yes, that's right. Many professing American Christians think that they could never be under the spirit of mammon because they care for their families and love their families, a

The spirit behind Debt, the spirit of Mammon, seeks to Blind, Control, Enslave and Dominate by debt

Many people just cannot understand what usury is for what it is. Thus, in order for people to understand what exactly usury is, they must be made to understand debt first. Debt is not merely money to be repaid. It has power. Debt indeed is power, which comes from a source not from God: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).  One can discern that debt has a power behind it if one uses one's godly discernment. Debt brings spiritual bondage to a person, not merely financial bondage, but spiritual bondage. The real issue with debt for all people whether unsaved or saved is that it keeps people from fully serving God. It is a spiritual stronghold of mammon that panders to the flesh, to make a God-hater even more hostile against God, by feeding on his flesh to increase its appetite even more. It is also a spiritual stronghold
