How art thou fallen
from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the
ground, which didst weaken the nations! For
thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt
my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the
congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They
that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying,
Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake
kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But
thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the
raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go
down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet (Isaiah 14:12-19).
Satan fell from heaven because of pride. Pride destroyed him, leading him to perdition. He tries to tempt people to rebel against God so that they will go to Hell like he is. He does this is feeding on one's pride. All the demons of satan do the same, whether it is the spirit of mammon or the spirit of witchcraft. They only differ in the different manifestation of pride which they tempt people with, and blind them with.
Jezebel was a woman under the spirit of witchcraft. She is only one example of a person under the spirit of witchcraft. Any person, can become under the spirit of witchcraft, ripe for her manipulation when they fall into the mix of sins which she uses to tempt people to sin. 1 Kings 21:7 gives an example of how she spoke, which is a manifestation of the heart (Matthew 15:18-19): And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite. Jezebel did not make this statement out of generosity, kindness, or love. Rather, she spoke to manipulate others to satisfy her desire for self-will. Just like her father satan, her will is to be conformed to by others, who must submit to it.
The spirit of witchcraft does not only feed on self-will, but the desire for self-will. Those who are controlled by this desire for self-will feel violated, oppressed or treated unfairly because they are blinded into thinking they this desire for self-will is legitimate. This desire is of the flesh, which cannot be satisfied, but increases in appetite when the desire for one's self-will is satisfied. It is proud, and loves to stir up contention, unable to forgive but yet wanting the forgiveness from others. This explains why people under the spirit of witchcraft are easily offended and also full of false guises.
Not only do such people lie by their tongues, but they lie by their manner of spirit. This manifests in their false guises of kindness, gentleness, compassion or anything of virtue. They do so all while thinking they are being genuine and sincere, when they are blinded into thinking that it is legitimate to seek their own self-will and that being genuine and sincere makes them good and virtuous. That they even think they are virtuous in being genuine and sincere is simply a manifestation of how deceived they are, because of their own deception of themselves in seeking to justify their desire for satisfying their own self-will. This thinking itself is the perversion of all virtue.
The spirit of witchcraft is extremely deceptive and cunning. She appears to be virtuous, whether she appears caring, gentle, compassionate or kind. However, her manner of spirit and her words are full of poison, which are the manifestation of her desire to satisfy her self-will. All her 'virtues' ensnare, by seeking to make others kind to her, when she is really seeking to use the virtue of others against them, so as to manipulate them.
