Please discern, Usury is SIN because Usury is Not Love

The Bible does not need to exactly list out all the sins explicitly to so that we can know. For example, gambling and nudity are sins. However, it does not list them out. That it does not list them as sins does not in any way mean that they are not.

Likewise, usury is sin. Usury is not love. To charge usury against another so as to cause him to be enslaved to mammon, is itself to not love. As love is the fulfillment of the Law (Romans 13:10), usury is not love, and therefore it is sin. Usury is nothing but self-love. Those who live in self-love will incur the wrath of God: but wrath and indignation to those who are self-seeking and disobey the truth but are obeying unrighteousness (Romans 2:8).

Usury is sin. It is that simple.
