Modern evangelicals are full of false doctrines.
Apart from their hyper-grace thinking, they are also quick and anxious to point
out how Christians who oppose their hyper-grace also “deserve Hell” as though
they didn’t. They love to say “I know you say you deserve Hell but...” to you
to rebuke you for confronting people about their sins. I have met such a
person. They claim to be so gracious, but when rebuked about their hyper-graceness,
or when seeing someone using the Law of God in evangelism, they are quick to
lecture Christians who use it that they need to tell them that a Christian is
in the same boat as the unsaved.
I have bumped into such evangelicals before. One of them kept on lecturing me about how ungracious I was because I use the Law of God in evangelism, and rebuked their hyper-graceness. He imposes his rules of private criticism of false doctrines on others when there is no part in the Bible which tells us to rebuke people only privately for their behaviour.
Evangelicals are proud, yes proud, of their ‘non-judgmentalism’ and lack of ‘religion’, while imposing their human unbiblical traditions of ‘hyper-graceness’, on others. They are the modern Pharisees. This is no exaggeration or hyperbole. It is true.
They compromise with the world. They treat the world according to how they want the world to see them – as ‘non-judgmental’, ‘tolerant’, and ‘broad-minded’. “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God” (James 4:4). That is what these evangelicals are trying to do, explaining their opposition to open-air preaching on the grounds that its confirms “negative stereotypes” of Christians.
Of course the world should see Christians negatively! If it does not, one is not being salt and light to the world as Jesus said that His followers must be.
Jesus said to His followers: “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:13-16).
The world will hate the true Christian because his nature is diametrically opposed to that of the world. It IS a PROMISE, not a possibility, or chance, but a PROMISE. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved (Matthew 10:22).
Thus, it is unbiblical, and compromising with the world to even think that one should be respected by the world. It will not because it is a God-hating, blasphemous, selfish, wicked, Hell-deserving, Hell-bound, proud, arrogant, devious world. Such characteristics should not and cannot be attributed to the true Christian because he has a new nature. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Yes, one will struggle with flesh, but it cannot be denied that the old nature has died. Thus, to say that the true Christian is sinful is to blaspheme God as the evangelicals do – it is to deny that he has a new nature in Christ. The Christian should be righteous, full of light, walking in partnership with Christ,
Paul gave strong warning in 2 Corinthians 6:14-16: Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial[a]? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God.
The modern evangelical does not know what this means and attempts to witness in a ‘culturally sensitive’ way, that is, in a way the world does not think awkward. What type of statement is this! The world will always think the Gospel and righteousness is awkward because they have none – no not a single bit of righteousness! The modern evangelical likes to say, “but Paul said we need to be all things to all men. So, we need to be culturally sensitive.”
Yes, that is true that Paul said we need to be all things to all men. What ‘all things to all men’ means is to understand their blindness and guide them through the darkness. It is to give them a walking stick and guide them as they navigate their way through a dark room. It does not mean to be ‘culturally sensitive’, which is a secular doctrine, a doctrine of demons which is really about pandering to carnal fleshly human sensitivities. It is the demonic doctrine of tolerance, which naive evangelicals do not even understand, let alone discern.

I have also been told by one evangelical that I needed to repent
of my “judgmentalism”, “pride”, “argumentativeness” and whatever other false
accusations he made against me, thinking he is so gracious, and gentle. He accuses Living Waters of being unbiblical and ungracious because they speak about striving for the Law of God. The Christian should be seeking to walk in the ways of God's statutes. What is he talking about?
Apart from the hatred of God by the world, it ridicules the Church even more because of the compromising of Biblical behaviour, thinking and action of the modern church which the world can discern very clearly to be hypocrisy on part of the church. They can see this, of all things because they love to point to the hypocrisy of the church as an excuse for not repenting and putting their faith in Jesus.
The church needs to stop absolutely all compromise in its thinking, actions and behaviour, and be a militant follower of God. That way it will be the salt and light of the world.
