False doctrine of "equality"

The modern world loves to talk about "equality"- whether income equality, marriage equality, gender equality, political equality. The list of "equalities" to be achieved never ends. Inequality has been derided as an archaic social construct. However, many of these people, who are secularists and therefore have no basis for the inherent value of humans never question 'equality' as to whether it is a social construct.

Rather, it is assumed that 'equality' is a "right". There is no such thing as a right. This is one of the most destructive doctrines of the world that has crept into the mammonised church. It is the true church I am talking about, which has yielded to the temptations of mammon. The Bible never speaks about material equality, but rather equity. Equity is fairness. Equality is not. It is a doctrine of envy and selfish ambition, one of the world. The world cannot accept material inequality where some have lower incomes, or less power, and where others have higher incomes and more power. Such are those who seek after earthly things. James 3:13-18 explains the two types of wisdom:

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

The world is full of hypocrisy, despite claiming to hate it. It is partial, hateful, and has no peace. It is full of envy and selfish ambition, the root of all 'equality' movements. The spirit behind it is mammon, which feeds on envy, and selfishness from the human heart.

The Christian should shun all talk regarding rights and equality. For all things are meaningless. Everything done for earthly pursuits and that is temporary is done in vanity.  See Ecclesiastes 1.
