However, many Christians who have been working to fight 'human trafficking' insist that it is not a moral thing that it should be banned, but rather that it is moral to 'help' the "trafficked" harlots (I refuse to use the word "sex worker" or even "prostitute"). They claim that is the right and loving thing, and therefore Biblical thing to do.
The word 'prostitute' come from the Greek Word porné, which means sexual immorality. The word 'porné' is where the work pornography comes from. Pornography is defined by the evil world as "degrading" images that objective people, which often depict, and thereby promote 'violence against women'. However, pornography, even by analysing the word without references to the Bible, really refers to the depiction of sexually immoral acts to stimulate lust.
Iceland, has sought a law to ban pornography. However, it makes it clear it is not seeking to ban raunchy movies. Such is the irony, and hypocrisy of the evil world. That Iceland is selectively seeking to ban some forms of pornography, but not all, indicates that it is not against pornography for the lust it promotes. Rather, it is only out of the pride of society, in particular, the feminists who promote 'bodily autonomy' that it finds pornography offensive. The offensiveness they feel at pornography does not testify to its morality, but rather to its sexual immorality, on the grounds that it is only against pornography when it is "degrading" to people. It may as well legalised all pornography, being the evil society that it is.
The "offensiveness" the sexually immoral feel against pornography indicates that it is under the spirit of harlotry. The spirit of harlotry is one that indulges in sexual immorality to feed its flesh. It hates all forms of violence and degradation because it, in its pride, sees it as a moral lesson which it hates. Those who are not depicted "degradingly" in pornography and under the spirit of harlotry, indulge in such violent pornography because it feeds their carnal flesh which thrives on its pride and lust of the flesh. They gain the sense of empowerment of the degradation of others, loving the degrading of others.
