The world is in love with mammon, of course! What can the unregenerate people do? It is of their nature to love mammon, not that he loves them, but that they are full of evil and hate by nature. Not all unregenerate people are equally immoral or even immoral. However, that is not the issue here. As long as one is seeking to satisfy the lusts of one's flesh, lusts of one's eyes and the pride of life (1 John 2:16), one is under the spirit of mammon. Even the modern church is seduced by him, as manifested in their belief in the doctrine of rights and belief in material equality. The doctrine of material equality is itself as a doctrine of demons. This is by no way implying that the doctrine of material inequality is not an evil one at all.
Equality. The world demands it. Even the modern church has bought into the lie of "equality" as the world thinks. The world has its view about equality. God has His view about equality. Equality in the eyes of the world is to have equal access to education, jobs, food security, income, material possessions, social participation and any thing else that is earthly and temporal, including earthly justice and earthly dignity, which are just as earthly as material things. The whole doctrine that underlies this is that evil, vile, abominable doctrine of rights. Anyone who even believes in the doctrine of rights, that they are self-entitled to what they have, will justly burn in Hell for an eternity, on the grounds of believing in the doctrine of rights. None of us deserve anything except for Eternal Damnation. Hence, none of us even have rights to life.
As such, equality to anything earthly, including earthly justice is irrelevant. None of us "deserve" anything. That includes equality. Hence, for those people in the pro-life movement who complain about the abortion of baby girls, that is not the issue at all. The so-called "inequality" is completely irrelevant. The propaganda campaign by the pro-lifers (not abolitionists) against sex-selective abortion as a specific issue is a mammonised one, one that is based on people feeling personally offended just because their beloved, favoured gender of people, that is, females, are being abortion, not because the pro-lifers seek to obey God. Such is the spirit of self-entitlement. The spirit behind it is mammon. This explains why proponents of communism are just as materialistic as proponents of capitalism. However, this does not in any way deny that communism in the true sense, as least was an ideology that listened to the cries of the poor, as opposed to capitalism which tramples on the poor and drowns out their cries.

Therefore, the issue regarding murder is that it is evil because it is offensive to God, not because it upsets people, or even because it takes away life. It is only because it offends God because the act of murder itself is hostility against Him. It is not that it merely indicates hostility against God, but that sin itself is hostility against God. Absolutely anything which fails to trust fully in His Word, His character, His justice, mercy, grace or promises is sin. Indeed, anything not done in faith in God is sin: "But the person who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not act in faith; and anything that is not done in faith is sin. But the man who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not do so from faith, and whatever is not from faith is sin" (Romans 14:23).
Sin comes not from a merely failure to do or not do something. Rather, it is from the natural hostility against God. These acts which God has made clear are sins are not mere manifestations, but both hostility against God per se, and indications of a wicked heart. That God has given us all the Moral Law is by grace to show that we have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Galatians 3:24). It is written on the hearts of every person so that none is without excuse (Romans 1:20).

Matthew 5:37 makes it even clearer: "But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil." The world makes not its yes be yes and no be no. Rather, it makes it yes, a maybe, and its no, a possibly yes - all depending on the "circumstances", that is, one's self-interests as one sees fit to pursue. Such is the deception the world gives and embraces. The world itself is deceived by its god who rules it, satan, the father of lies and murderer from the beginning (John 8:44). He blinds the minds of the unsaved (2 Corinthians 4:4).

A right is a self-entitlement, that humans think are entitled to in their own selfishness and carnality. It is a carnal doctrine, and a doctrine of demons. The vile, God-hating world thinks that rights comes not from obeying God, and in a sense are right, but that rights comes from society. The naive, gullible deceived true Christian think that rights come from God. No! Neither is true. There is no such thing as a right at all whatsoever! Full stop. None! If one thinks thinks entitled to anything, which is exactly what it means to fight for one's "rights", one may as well think that one is entitled to spit on God. Such is the blasphemy of the doctrine of "rights", implying that humans are sovereign over God. The doctrine of "rights" has no place in the Kingdom of God. Any trace of it needs to be plucked out and cast away into the sea for it infects the whole lump.
Many in the modern church fail to understand that where a idea is from a godless philosophy, the spirit behind all, not just some or most, but all its ideas are infected. Thus, none of its ideas can be borrowed for use in evangelism or apologetics. That is why the doctrine of cultural sensitivity, which is a secular idea, should be shunned from evangelism. Rather, the Biblical doctrines of caring for people and genuinely loving others and God should be relied on.
To claim that one can use both is to claim that one can serve the master behind cultural sensitivity, that is the spirit of liberalism and God. What blasphemy! This is precisely what modern evangelicals do out of their fear of God. If one is going to have fear of people, one should not be evangelising at all! One should just go back and sell burgers. Of course, one needs to rely on the Spirit of God, and not just simply do so in one's strength. This all the more affirms Biblical evangelism, not unbiblical, modern, culturally sensitive, fear-of-man evangelism, rather than contradicts it.
The doctrine of "rights" is the one who infects much of what the modern church, the true body of Christ does. It is of the spirit of mammon, which will lead one to fear people, hence why the spirit of fear of people and spirit of mammon often work together in a person, or to influence a person, in the case of a true Christian. The doctrine of "rights" say that humans have rights to do as one chooses and that anything else, including God, is subject to human interests. The true Biblical doctrine of obedience to God is that humans are all subject to God, and must give up all of one's own self-interests, including the approval of the world and its ways to be respectful of the Christian life.
Many in the modern church, in their naivete and their blinding by mammon, seek for the world to be respectful to the ways of the true Church, that is, the ways of God. This is so extremely foolish that its foolishness surpasses all proper sound understanding of Biblical doctrine. Yet, many in the modern church even think that it can be in partnership with the world to fight evil. What foolishness! Not only is this foolishness but blasphemy for it denies the Word of God which says what partnership shall good have with evil, light with darkness, and righteousness with unrighteousness. NONE!!! If the world thinks you are bigoted, intolerant or narrow-minded, GOOD! Congratulations! You merit honour in being hated and persecuted for standing on the Word of God. Accept hatred by treating it as a honour and an increase in your rewards in Heaven.
The spirit of mammon works with the spirit of witchcraft to control people into serving sin. That is why the doctrine of "rights" enslaves the world into thinking that is has rights it must seek to have dignity. All already have dignity from God. However, of course, the world which hates God and spits on His face, thinking they are so wise and that their interests come before obeying God, seeks dignity from the world, which is full of hate and war. The world, as such, is enslaved into making sure its "rights" are protected by law, thinking they are 'liberated' when they are really enslaved.
The spirit of witchcraft works by blinding people into deceiving that if their "rights" are not protected or regarded, they are "oppressed". As such, because of this oppression, they must not only fight for their "rights" but cause others to stumble into sin. For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall (Proverbs 4:16). This is how the spirit of witchcraft works. Not only can she not sleep until she has made someone fall into sin. She is never satisfied until she causes others to not sleep until they have caused others to fall into sin and to aggressively demand that their evils deeds are not even questioned.
The spirit of witchcraft merely manifests as aggression and hatred. It is only a mere manifestation. The heart of a person under the spirit of witchcraft is one that is only satisfied when others not only approve of their sin, but participate in their sin with them. The person has not a mere hatred, but a wrathful, self-justifying hatred of those who even just question their sins. The most obvious example of this is where a woman seduces a man to commit sexual immorality with him. She causes him to yield to her sweet words (Proverbs 7:21). She then accuses him of manipulating her and cheating on her when he stop committing immorality with her.
However, this is not the only example. The world is full of witchcraft. The spirit of witchcraft has also crept into the church. She manipulates hypersensitive people who are extremely easily offended into claim their "rights" to not feel offended, for example by the use of certain terminology, such as 'modern church', or by using email to communicate. She then blinds them into thinking the person who has only made the person feel personally offended has sinned. The offended person then goes on to lecture the person and make the person feel guilty about what he has done. I have encountered such a modern evangelical before who gets offended at the use of the word 'modern church'. He argues that is implies that the speaker is saying that his church is good, but all other churches are not. He likes to impose on me his views that instead the world 'many churches' should be used. This has incited even more resistance in me against using such term - the 'Christian' version of political correctness, which is used by true Christians when feeling personally offended and incite false guilt in others.
The spirit of witchcraft works through those banks which seek to drive people into repaying debt on house which are extremely high. A large percentage of the total debt includes payment of usury to the evil modern banks. Not repaying debt is evil. Psalm 37:21 says that "The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth". Borrowing money and not repaying it is sin. Even the unsaved acknowledge that it is evil to do so. Usury seeks to control people into committing the sin of borrowing money and not repaying debt. That is the real face of usury. Usury is justified on the grounds of "right" to economic 'freedom'. The world fights against usury on the grounds "rights" to "equality" in economic 'power'. None of these people can say who is wrong or right for each of them are seeking after "rights" and think that what is a "right" determines what is the moral thing to do.
The sin of usury can only be fought by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
