The New Dark Age of Lies, Hate and Hypocrisy

Why modern society is so enlightened, but yet so blind, becoming weak in its own strength, foolish in its own wisdom.

We live in an age where one needs to be especially careful of what one says. Although we tend to think we live in an age of free speech and equality and is too enlightened for the Dark Ages of “mythology” and “superstition”, modern society is no different from people of the past at heart. Beneath the surface of technological and scientific advancements, and the quest for reason, modern society embraces lies to suit its facade of justifying its own moral decadence, and hides behind the false mask of increased knowledge.

The Cult of Reason and the Quest for Knowledge

A good world needs knowledge... it does not need a regretful hankering after the past or a fettering of the free intelligence by the words uttered long ago by ignorant men…” – Bertrand Russell, Why I am Not a Christian

The quest for truth has been a question of morality since the beginning of time. Truth is has generally been believed to be found through reason, raising the question as to what is truth and what is reason. Reason is embraced by modern society, not in the quest for absolute truth, but because it thinks it can create its own truth, making itself foolish liars. Modernism purports that reason can be discovered through science, since truth can be found in nature. The classic example of modernism is Darwinian evolution that a change in kinds, can occur by random chance as nature dictates. It teaches that ape turned into man by some reason, dinosaur can turn into chicken, or even that fish can turn into human because nature dictates it to be so, however it can even happen.  Nature itself became a kind of deity as though nature was somewhat sovereign.

Therefore, this doctrine of naturalism provides the framework for the environmental movement which elevates nature to be inherently sacred. The environment is now seen as necessary for protection for its own sake, rather than worthy of preservation because of its beauty, or for efficient use of resources. It also provides the foundation of the belief that humans and animals are equal in dignity and value. Hence, this justifies of genocide on the grounds that humans are deserving of no more moral protection than animals, and are therefore disposable.

Many Darwinists, in their own blindness and pride, are quick to deny that Darwinism cannot be attributed as the cause of genocides. While it is true that it is not the cause per se, it cannot be denied that within the Darwinist worldview, genocide is legitimised as humans are mere products of random chance with no value. It may be obvious that this is a logical outcome of Darwinism, however, in their own foolish pride of their own carnal logic, they fail to see this as they cling to their own belief in Darwinism. Yet, they deny they have any faith in any “mythology” to which they refer to religion, especially Christianity, while they put their faith in Darwinism and hope that no genocide will ever occur again. This is not to say that all Darwinists hope or support genocide at all.  Rather, it is exactly what their world view is – survival of the fittest.

To the Darwinist, the thought of being morally accountable to a supreme being of the universe who they know exists, God, is so abhorrent that he adheres to Darwinism as he tries to wish God away or pretend He does not exist, while using the natural things created by God to do so. He excuses his own unrighteousness by claiming that God does not exist because he can’t see him.

These people, who would typically identify themselves as secular, are extremely proud of having “no religion”, forgetting that they worship “Mother” Gaia, “Mother” Earth, or “Father” Charles Darwin. They claim that they have no beliefs or what they believe in about the natural world is fact. However, how can it be reasonably and sanely said that believing in the environment being sacred, and that humans are animals, are not beliefs? It is not that such people do not intellectually acknowledge they have no beliefs – it is their pride that they think that if they cannot see anything, they cannot believe in it, thinking they are so wise in doing so.  Thinking they are so wise, unlike the “ignorant men” who “hanker after the past” or seek “fettering of the free intelligence”, they become fools and exchanges the glory of God for an image of man and animals.

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.  (Romans 1:21-23)

The blatant pride of Humanity

How much reverence can you have for a Supreme Being who finds it necessary to include such phenomena as phlegm and tooth decay in His divine system of creation?” – Joseph Heller, Catch 22

Since Darwinism implies humans to be sovereign, people in their pride see humanism to be legitimate doctrine. Humanism, one of the most widely embraced ideologies in the modern world, especially by the Millennials who staunching believe that humans being are essentially good and worthy of being praised for its moral capacity to act good. Every person, out of their own pride, loves to think they are good person so humans set their own standards of morality for themselves. To order to see oneself as pure in one’s own eyes, one deceives oneself in seeing truth. Thus, within the humanistic worldview, morality is subjective and that personal “truth” is different for each person. It is outright rebellion against God’s standards that come from the pride of people who question the Creation of God and even have the audacity to put themselves on God’s judgment seat like Joseph Heller, and those who deny God exists because of “all the suffering in the world”.

Owing to its facade of not adhering to any particular set of moral values, humanism may seem very humble and lowly. However, this is far from the truth.  By denying that morality come from a moral conscience that self-evidently cannot come from humans, morality is now something considered optional or something that people can change to suit their own self-interest, which is the height of arrogance.

Humanists, who are filled with a tonne of pride in their hearts, proclaim that they are so tolerant, unlike non-humanists, especially those who are theistic in their worldview, that only they are worthy of being preachers of respect and freedom of thought because they do not adhere to any kind of “archaic” moral code, and therefore all-knowing and all-understanding.  Humanism, in believing that morality is personal, is not only itself a belief, but also a moral (or an immoral) code that morality is non-existent, and therefore optional.

As a result of the humanist movement in American and the West at large in the early 20th century, the West has now progressed towards moral relativism. No longer to people think lying, stealing and committing adultery is wrong. In fact, such wicked acts are deemed to be normal. Anyone who walks in righteous according to God is otherwise is considered a bigoted self-righteous person.   It is the humanist movement who pushed mandatory teaching of Darwinism during the 1960’s which lead to the increase in school massacres, violence, pornography, drug abuse, sexual immorality and alcoholism. Yet, in their own dishonesty and unrighteousness, for their minds are darkened, they blame “religious violence” to be responsible for suffering and all social ills.

Their favourite argument against Christianity is the violence of the Crusades who killed many Muslims, as though Muslims themselves have not been responsible for any violence in the wars. Humanists usually condemn Muslims for their treatment of their beloved homosexuals and women, but whenever they hear about God’s truth, they all of sudden unite with Muslims and attack Christianity and Christians. Humanists never condemn Muslims for oppressing men by forcing them to do jihad, since humanists in their hearts know that men are to be the leaders of the family, that which is anathema to the spirit of sexualised liberalism that humanists are intoxicated with.

Such unrighteous godless people are united in their anti-Christ spirit, battling each other to the ground when in all issues, except for God’s Word. These people, by their own unrighteousness, suppress the Truth which is the absolute moral goal of these people. The unrighteous are full of pride, and fail to come to God with a humble heart. As a result, God resists them and allows social, economic and cultural decay to nations who rebel against Him.

“Truth” being individualised to suit oneself

What is Truth?’ – Pontius Pilate to Jesus Christ, Son of God

The idea that morality is relative leads to individualism. Individualism is not merely a doctrine, but a practice of serving one’s interest, needs and wants without regard for that of others. This is clearly contrary to the Bible which commands Christians who help the needy, feed the hungry, clothe the naked and cure the sick.
Individualism has been associated with conservatism which liberalists typically hate because of the supposed religious beliefs of many conservatives. Thus, liberalists specifically target Christians to accuse them of being individualistic by not supporting higher taxes, socialised healthcare, abortion, homosexual “marriage”, and euthanasia.

Since morality is relative to liberalists, government and law is sovereign, and therefore, liberalists have great hatred against Christians who do not support their favoured policies and laws, and imposing their own views on Christians.  It is not that they do not know what they do is wrong. Rather, it is because Christians remind them of their unrighteousness that scheme to trap Christians – to accuse Christians of being unloving by selective using Bible verses to Christians to shame them into not acting the way they should.

These people are so filled with evil and they dare to use the Bible which they laugh at a foolish, against Christians and “lecture” Christians about how to follow the Bible, if this is even possible. This is the height of hypocrisy on part of those who twist the Bible in the attempt to justify their hatred of God, and yet have the audacity to judge Christians for not appearing to obey God in their eyes. Such people must heed this warning: “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, light to be of darkness, and darkness to be of light” (Isaiah 5:20) because they are darkness and devoid of all integrity, running towards Hell as though it was Heaven, and shunning Heaven as though it were Hell.

As such, it is not that Truth has gone, it is that Truth has been attempted to be twisted, by denying its existence, and borrowing from it that which can be used to one’s advantage, and ignoring and manipulating that which convicts oneself of one’s own depravity. This is exactly how the unsaved read the Bible. Underlying all doctrines that are based on falsehood is lovelessness. Lovelessness is godlessness because those who knows not God, does not know love (1 John 4:8).

Why the World Tramples on the Church

Despite its hatred of the Bible, the world loves the verse which says “judge not lest you be judged” in telling Christians that they are being unloving by bring light to the sins of the unsaved.  This is the essence of political correctness which considers anyone who speaks of God’s Truth to be deserving of the harshest criticism and socially ostracised, because it is against the modern notion of tolerance. This notion of tolerance is one in which having one’s beliefs is legitimate, only provided one accepts other beliefs of being possibly valid in the moral sense or to be morally worthy. Since Jesus said that “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6), true Christianity is the most offensive statement one can make to the liberalist whose mind has been darkened and who loves darkness because he is darkness.

Even many Christians have been influenced by the carnal politically correct notion of offence and impute their own carnal human logic in understanding what Paul meant when he said that he is all things to all men (1 Corinthians 9:22).  They use this verse as a defence against Christians who rebuke them or who use the Law in evangelism, thinking that people are entitled to not “feel” offended whenever warned about false doctrines that are creeping into the Church.

This is especially the case when confronting Christians about how the spirit of mammon has crept into the church as a whole. Without even targeting any specific individuals, they react angrily or feel upset, and lecture Christians who confront them of problems within the Church of being unloving and failing to be gentle. They use the verse about confronting one’s brother in private to stop those within the church to tell them about the spiritual threats to the Church.

A Call for the Church to Return to Its First Love

Christians who speak about mammon are met with these reactions from other Christians because many of them are trying to serve mammon. They are trying to conform to the world by trying to serve mammon because their love for God has grown cold. As a result, the Church is no longer the salt and light of the world because, like the Church of Ephesus, God has taken away its lampstand and allowed it to be trampled on by the world which is only to quick to do so (Revelations 2:5).

It is time for the modern church to return its fervent love for God by shaking mammon of its head and throwing it into the Pits of Hell. It needs to be like the First century Christians who shared what they had, fed the poor, clothed the naked and helped the sick. Then only will there be a Revival, nations will be brought out of darkness, and God will be glorified.

Signs of a Person under the spirit of mammon

Both the unsaved and saved can be under the spirit of mammon. Do not be deceived! An unsaved person can only serve mammon because it is not part of his nature to submit to God in any way (Romans 8:7). However, the Christian can most definitely yield to the temptations of mammon just as he can yield to the temptations of satan. This is what is means for a Christian to be under the spirit of mammon. The signs of a person being under the spirit of mammon are: The person does not understand the spirit of mammon. This is because he or she is blinded by it and therefore cannot see it. The person reacts whenever being confronted with being told that they are under the spirit of mammon, or being told that they may be under it. This is not the person themselves reacting, but the spirit of mammon reacting. The person is self-satisfied with the abundance that they have. This is especially the case with many Christians today. They are happy with having a family, a well-paying job, security

Two types of contentment

The world seeks contentment. It seeks to be contented in pursuit of all kinds of things, whether it be money, health, wealth, romance, sex, careers or family. It does not necessarily seek after riches to be content. However, that one does not seek after money as the first priority, but other things that are typically associated with good traditional values, such as family, does not in any way mean that one is content in the godly sense. By no means! A person can be a "conservative" and "religious" but just as earthly as the "liberal". There are two types of contentment: earthly contentment and godly contentment. Earthly contentment finds its fulfillment and satisfaction in things that are passing away, not necessarily money, but also things like family, education and children. Yes, that's right. Many professing American Christians think that they could never be under the spirit of mammon because they care for their families and love their families, a

The spirit behind Debt, the spirit of Mammon, seeks to Blind, Control, Enslave and Dominate by debt

Many people just cannot understand what usury is for what it is. Thus, in order for people to understand what exactly usury is, they must be made to understand debt first. Debt is not merely money to be repaid. It has power. Debt indeed is power, which comes from a source not from God: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).  One can discern that debt has a power behind it if one uses one's godly discernment. Debt brings spiritual bondage to a person, not merely financial bondage, but spiritual bondage. The real issue with debt for all people whether unsaved or saved is that it keeps people from fully serving God. It is a spiritual stronghold of mammon that panders to the flesh, to make a God-hater even more hostile against God, by feeding on his flesh to increase its appetite even more. It is also a spiritual stronghold
